That's a really nice entry! I like the idea of combining the defence of a castle with rpg mechanics and the agility parameter is pretty clever! Really like graphics and music too. Good job

Very interesting idea!
I really like how there are mechanics from different types of rpg and strategy games are mixed into something new.
Cool, simple little game! Well put together. Interesting combination of game mechanics. Nice job!
I like the idea of putting RPG mechanics in a game like this - it's an innovative take on the genre, and the balance was pretty good.
I assume you're using 3rd party sprites and sounds, since you've opted out of those categories - it'd be nice to see attribution for what you're using. (Mostly because I really like the sprites!)
Very nice game! There's a nice bit of strategy in choosing which enemy to fight first and when to use stuns, which is really enhanced by the RPG elements. I like all the different enemies that get introduced as the game progresses. I made it past wave 15 then got destroyed by the dark mages (I think that's what they were) that are seemingly immune to being stunned. I'm not sure how much of the graphics/audio you made, but at the very least the visuals and music were used to good effect.
Great game!! Like the retro music and the cute pixel art. I like also the idea to use the player sprite as mouse cursor. Keep up the great work. Bonus Points for Godot engine!
Overall I like the game concept and the ideas you had. But I didn't like, that you control the player by simply attaching the character to the cursor.
Hey Everyone thanks for the feedback!
I wasn't sure how the balancing was going to turn out and the mechanics aren't clear from the start, which probably can cause some confusion. Thanks for trying it though!
@rjhelms The author doesn't have an attrition symbol on his site, but you may use his resources (commercially/non-commercially) with any creation tool. Except for the undead battler graphic of the guy who looks like a red mage, because he is somewhat similar to a battler in one of the monster assets in RPG Maker 2003. Credit is not required, but would be nice. You can find his terms at the top link of the material page.
@skosnowich I thought about making the hero walk across the map, but with the time limit I couldn't make that happen. Sorry! :(
The game is pretty fun. It's a bit unclear to me the direct impact of the player's stats. Only attack seemed to make a difference.
Still, a pretty good concept. Good job.
Really nice game. Easy to pick up and fun to play but there is still some depth to it. Which enemy to attack first, when to stun them, what to upgrade etc.
It is a bit challenging but for this kind of game I think that is a very good thing because it forces you to restart a couple of times and try diffrent things. Also nice to see someone else using Godot.
Keep up the good work!
I like mobile one tap style rpgs so this is right up my alley. I really like the idea of having the hero follow the mouse that closely as a game mechanic. The whole aesthetic was put together nicely.
At first I didn't realize the wave didn't start until I attacked so I wasn't finding time to level up. It did get difficult for me rather quickly. I would have gladly played some easier content before getting crushed.
Great work!
Really cool, presented very well. Also hat tip to another Godot user, nice to see its popularity rise in game jams.
Very nice and simple idea :)
This is really cool. I always like seeing reductionist twists on established genres and this one does it both RPGs and Tower Defense! Those spiders can suck it, though ;) . I don't know what agility does.
Very nice game. At wave 8? or 9? I got kinda overwhelmed and I couldn't keep up. I'm not sure about what agility does: maybe I put too much or too few points in it. Anyway, I really liked your game! Good job! The first wave felt very balanced!
I have to admit it took me longer than it should have to figure out what I was suppose to be doing. Once I did, I had a bit of fun :) I enjoyed this
When I try to play on OS X / Safari on itch, I get "Exception thrown, see JavaScript console.

Simple, but effective! Glad this was turn-based rather than real-time, because I can tell I would have gotten frustrated quickly otherwise. Even turn-based, it's easy for panic to set in! Nice job!
Thanks, for the feedback guys. :)
@kate-kligman Thanks for letting me know. Godot has problems with it's HTML5 export sometimes and things end up not working. I can try to work on an OSX build tonight and upload to itch.io tonight or early tomorrow morning for you (It takes some time to build on my mac mini from 2009). Sorry for the inconvenience! D:
Very well made game! I liked it a lot! Especially the damage/difficulty progression was very well implemented. I liked how some hard monsters (like spider) soaked all attacks on the beginning, but become much more easier later. Great balancing work! Thanks!
Nice game, I feel like having movement instead of being attached to the mouse might have been interesting but I still found it kinda fun.
I never considered my cursor a protagonist before. :D Interesting mechanics, they could do with a clearer form of explanation though, as I fumbled around foolishly for a while. After I figured it out it was fun for a while, but with just a basic attack and a stun it couldn't hold my interest for too much longer. That said, I cannot go around expecting lots of content and abilities in a jam. ;)
Nice art and music, but third party, so I am merely commending you on your choices here. I will say, regarding the graphics, that the protagonist on the cursor was scaled rather blurrily compared to the other sprites, which his a shame.
Nice job!
Very interesting idea indeed. I like simple and clean execution, good job!
I enjoyed the idea of a hero as a cursor! It would be clearer to show enemy HP, especially bosses...
Interesting idea, as a mobile game its probably got potential, would just need to some tweaking to the strategy element to keep the interest going.
Great entry. Like the turn base system. Well done.
As other's have said, very creative concept as using the cursor as the hero. I had performance issues on the web, but sounds like that might be Godot in general. Kept me from being able to survive very long. Good job, though!
Nice job! Creative mix of turn-based strategy and RPG. The cursor was pretty nice, it keeps the focus on the stat building. I think the game over screen must have a list of your stats though (enemies slain, level reached, total exp, etc.)! It was pretty hard when ants started spawning, I wonder how many enemies I didn't see. @automatonvx is onto something with mobile; I would totally play it you span out the game (more long-term). Well done!
@arch-a-type I'm back with a Windows 7 Pro on Bootcamp in Chrome! :)
- I was immediately drawn to this game because the graphics reminded me of a tiny version of Dragon Warrior 1. :)
- The click mechanic was satisfying and fun. I'm slow at these sort of games, so I especially like that it's turn based.
- Good choice on the music.
That a really nice game!! I really enjoy play it! Maybe a zoom on the pixel will be good. The sound is good but that noise when you hit is too damn high!!! Yeah! Die at level 17 ! Very good job!
It is a fun game, and that is very cool, that the mouse pointer the hero. The graphics are great, i like this retro style. For me its too hard, i died very soon.
If I could rate you on sound, I would have given that four stars! Loved the little bit-loop, it reminded me of Lufia! :D
At first, I thought this was a real-time game and got really stressed! Once I realized it wasn't real-time I could really appreciate what you've made and quite enjoyed it! I got to wave four, and really liked figuring out what to upgrade!
If you refine this, I think you've got a really good little game that'd be great for facebook or mobile. Really liked it!
