My hand huuuurts :D It was fun to play, my record is 150dollars. I really like the graphics and the different object that I had to sort through. I think one of my colleagues died because of me :D. But I saved the cat and the baby! (also, was I supposed to burn them too? :D)
Hahaha it's fun but damn it's hard xD Games look really great, and it's fastly fun to play. I really had fun ! Maybe an exit button could be nice ? We all know alt+f4 works, but still xD
Loved this. Great idea. I could do with a slap or something to just... smack things off the conveyors. Definitely not enough time to get everything into the incinerator, but I feel like that was half the point of "inevitable". Gread job!
Dang it, I read all the details and was excited to play such a goofy-looking game, but it's Windows only. Hopefully I'll get to play it sometime before play/rate is up!
I thought I could kill the boss with lightsaber or pistol:( But it's a good game, I really enjoyed it!
Woah, one of my favourites this jam! A nice, simple yet fun gameplay, paid Indie game- tier graphics, fun references in terms of sounds and 3d models and a really goofy mood. It could have a fun music in background to up the tempo of the game but otherwise - A VERY Big yes from me :)
This is a fantastically fun experience! Really hope more people see it because its loads of fun. Where do all of these weird objects come from in a soup factory? Boris doesn't care, just get the job done. Must say taking a baby off the production line only to throw it into an incinerator was an experience.
@terylangosh Hey!! Glad you enjoyed the game !! I'm not sure i can answer your question here... (BURN THEM ALL!!!! hahahahah)
@minusc Thank you!!! Yeah we did not manage to add an exit button to the game in time :x We might fix up that and other stuff on itch when the jam is over!
@coggoid Thank you for your feedbacks! Yes indeed we wanted to have an "inevitable" firement of Boris, and we decided to add a feeling of overwhelming to that in order to underline this notion!
@kristinamay ooowh :( Happy you're hyped up! What plateform are you on? We can build the game for Linux but unfortunately we don't have any Apple device to build it on mac...
@Golin Thank you! We wanted to add this as a feature! Tbh, we had a sh$t tone of other ideas too but no time to put them in :(
@rufus Thank you so much my man! We would love to have some music too but none of us are real muscicians and we did not want to have some random internet free to use music on the game... We tought it nedeed a really specific "rythmic and factory" music!
@joedev Thank you very much, very heartwarming! Yeah we tought of a lot of uncanny stuff to throw in a incinerator :^). And yeah Boris is kind of overwhelmed and just do the job regardless of his inevitable dismissal!
Really enjoyed this and the quirky art style or the characters is great .also nice job on presentation with the instruction manual style tutorial images
What a place of chaos! That was a fun few minutes of my life. This has all the chaos of Overcooked and I feel like making it multiplayer could make it quite the party game.
Cool game! My only complain is that my hands hurt too much haha, the tutorial was a nice touch!
Fun an chellanging. The graphics are great! I haven't seen this style yet, you could almost patent it ^^ My system had problems running it smoothly though, although... My graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000 or something ^^"
I had lots of fun looking what was thrown on the conveyor belt, even radio active rods? haha
oh I love this trope, forgotten old company material read the manual to figure it out type of thing  like TIS1000 with overcooked. The 3d shaders are looking great
@connorthompson Thank you very much!!! We really wanted to fully go for the "bad corporate" art héhé!
@otterfaelure Yeah Overcook was a bit of inspiration conserning the task managing thing, we also had "Garbage Boi" by Noxlof as a big inspiration regarding the movement and type of gameplay!!
@miiyuka Thank you!!! Hahah this is what working in a corporated factory at the boot of capitalism feels like i guess !
@wouter52 Hahah! Nah, everyone is free to use our style, it would be a great honor to inspire others! Aouch, I don't really know about Intel GPU, our lowest GPU during Dev was a NVIDIA GTX 1070! When the jam is fully over we will look in optimisation and fixing bugs. And yeah we really wanted to have this "surprise comic" with uncanny objects on the conveyor belt haha! (Btw the Radio-active road is a light saber but the handle material has some issues that we forgot to fix before the deadline lmao)
@velvetlobster Tysm!!! As i mentionned above yeah Overcooked was a bit of an inspiration for us and we really wanted to emphasize on the "corporate style" on the tutorial and stuff!!
I'm very impressed that you all pulled this off. The graphics look shippable already! Very charming. Although I had trouble feeling like I could have any way of succeeding I suppose that is on theme.
Nice game, I find it hard but entertaining anyway :)
Really fun game! I feel the overcooked vibe. Visual and audio are excellent. It would be interesting to see an extended version of the game with co-op and more conditions.
I have a tendency to make (and play, and like!) humor games while on jams, and I'm saying that just as an introduction because I simply loved your entry! The humor is well applied, not only with the setting and the characters (Mr. BossMan is the first boss that I've ever liked) but also the details - the sound effects for every unexpected new object really added a lot to an already great experience. The game outside of its humor is great too, I loved trying to gather the maximum number of good cans of soup, and how the difficulty ramped in a balanced way that let me learn the game while letting bad cans pass. Sorry, Mr. BossMan, for my bad job. Amazing game, well done!
hahaha! cool entry! :D I liked it! but.. 215$? pre taxes? come on man!!! ^^
Loved all the little items idk what my favourite was, can't decide between switch, lightsaber, cat and pumping heart.. but it kind of felt good throwing the baby in the incinerator.. does that make me a bad person? xD
The artstyle in general was nice! I also liked your game page :) (tip: firmattig on here is a bit meh, for listing stuff you either need to add another line break between the certain bullet points, or adding put 1. 2. etc)
I felt like the grab area could have been a liiiitle more generous (bigger) and also a lot of times it was impossible to get both things of the conveyer belt (I recognize it's probably because of the topic, tbh I really didn't like the topic for this jam at all, because almost everyone made a highscore game (we did too ^^) and 99% of cool games aren't cool because of the theme, do that really didn't have any benefit.. anyway, I digress :D)
A nice, solid entry! Had fun while playing (even though it gave me a burnout, haha!)
Good job guys! Characters looked funny too and the colours used were a good choice as well!
Good entry, I liked the random items that ended up on the conveyer belt. I ran into a small issue where the alarm sound wouldn't stop after retrying. Except that, a very cool and funny game
I played twice. First time got $90 and the second time I got $225. The first time, I thought I had been doing so poorly that it triggered the alarm to go off. I just thought it meant "low health". But the 2nd time I realized I could turn off the alarm that was also accelerating the game. Then I did much better. It also took a run through to get proficient with the controls.
Also, I liked how whacky the items got.
That was pretty nice! The idea was great, and the game is fun to play, especially when things start coming out really fast and there's nothing you can do but run. I really liked the artstyle, and loved the little references with the items (when the nintendo switch appeared, and upon grabbing it it made its sound, that was great). Audio was also really good, though some background music would have been cool. Overall, really good entry, so congratulations!
The best part is being forced to incinerate yourself.
I quite liked the game it sure gave me a lot of stress but the theme is well implemented. The item grabbing is a bit difficult once everything starts to clutter up the floor and it quickly becomes impossible. Maybe the character is a bit too slow. Or one could lean into this as a mechanic and increase the drudgery in a fair and interesting way, like Papers Please.
