The game was fun for a while, but then just started to feel like a chore, and not in the way it literally is XD. I enjoyed the idea, the balancing act of all the different meters was a good way to keep the player from doing the same thing repeatedly.
The idea is super cool, and I loved the usage of the toon shader to add the outlines to the world, making it look like it in itself is a drawing! It doesn't really fit the theme at all, but it is something I'd play every now and then just to see how the gallery is looking!
It was fun to play, and had a good amount of challenge, but some of the physics seemed off at times. Sometimes jumping would fail if I was touching a wall and enemies would become immune to my shots if they jumped on top of me from a higher platform, effectively cornering and killing me much quicker. Aside from that, it is a pretty good game!
I had a lot of fun playing it for a while. It's interesting how the results of certain actions were affected by my profession, and I could see there being a LOT of secrets that most people wouldn't find without playing for hours.
Great game! It was tense at points, and had a LOT of upgrades and mechanisms for defending the planet. Having lots of money very early seems to be VERY important. Great job!
It's a super amusing interpretation of the theme as well as a real-world scenario that most of us can relate to! Sure, it's only fun to play for a little while, but I could see it being one of those games you might find on the "No Internet" page of a web browser to play for a bit while waiting for the power to come back on haha!
It was hilarious, and a generally fun time! A spelling mistake here or there, but nothing too bad. Great game!
It was pretty funny at times, though one recommendation I have- make an exit game button, or if there was one, make it more obvious. I just ended up alt-f4ing out of the game when I was done. Aside from that, good job! keep it up!
@woodmancodes Thanks for the heads up, but we actually did the second sticky note like that intentionally! The first one was unintentional, but when I pointed it out to our artist we both loved it too much to remove it!
@themista92 Thanks a lot for the feedback! We were a bit rushed towards the later half of it, so we sped through the level design once we got to the tree haha. We actually posted a second build with a slightly more obvious blue box, but I'm guessing you played just before we uploaded it.
@garazbolg2 You can save the game for bad days as long as I can save your comment for mine! We really appreciate it, and we're glad to see the ending worked out just as well for others as it did for us!
