It's an interesting concept, but the controls feel really weird. At first I didn't realize you could double jump, but also when a new level loads, if you were holding an arrow key, you need to release, then press it again. So a lot of the time I would be holding an arrow key then just die right away because I didn't move

Good idea. But you should write in the controls that you can double jump. I didnt realized it at the beginning. The whole controls felt weird.

I feel like pac-man starts chasing you way to quickly. You have to have a super fast reaction time to look at the spikes and them move before he eats you. Also tighter controls might improve gameplay.

I enjoyed the game but it was kind of annoying to play. You start really close to evil pac-man so often I'd start a level and immediately die because I didn't press right fast enough or I was in too much of a rush and forgot to jump or jumped too early to try and avoid the immediate spikes.

I think this could work well if the controls were tightened up.

* really needs a second or so at the start for you to start moving... needing to press the arrow key the second the screen loads doesn't work really well. * need to explain the jump/double jump/etc ... I only guessed at it because it would have been the only way to make it to the key. * good job at making the key look like a key and the locked door to look locked.

Fun, but pretty hard game. I would have liked to been able to move with WASD too, but that's just a nitpick.

Nice running game with a panicky feeling to it! Not mentioning the double jump was a bit evil, although I figured it out eventually.

The game is also too hard for a casual playthrough - I'll never know if I'm missing some interesting new mechanics in later levels because I don't want to grind it.

@others: Haha, double jump is mandatory in platformers, almost. :)

Nice game, except that you have to start with a mouse click (enter should start game) and that you need to repress right arrow after new level loads. Fix these two problems and it will be much better.

Nice stressful music after a while. Phew! Quit hard.

Fun! The double jump physics feel really nice. It felt a little like a rhythm game, learning patterns and improving each time I played. I did get to a point where the big pacman got stuck on the wall behind me after I escaped through the door, and I wasnt sure if the game ended or if it was a glitch.

Love the music too! Nice work!

More instructions needed. Took me a few tries to figure out that you can double jump. Work on your sound sets and music. And give us time to move before getting eaten!

It took me a fair few tries, but it was very satisfying to make it through and finish the game. Although it might feel difficult at first, for me that was a good thing. I however would like it if re-spawning was much quicker either allow keyboard presses on the death screen or omit that screen completely. Also it would be nice to not have to re-press right when going onto a new level.

Overall though good game, I really did enjoy it.

Having the enemy slow down when he breaks a platform is a great idea. It always makes you feel like he's getting too close to you, but then he slows down and it buys you a little bit of time. Really helps keep things tense but still fair. Having to click to restart was a drag, as were the keyboard presses not working if you held them down when the level started, but those seem like pretty easy fixes.

This game is fun but it can be more fun.

If you die in this game you start all the way at the begining. I think its better if you start from the start of the level instead.

For the start of each level I feel there should be a second or two to start the level to prepare the player.

The music starts relatively quiet then it becomes loud and more enjoyable. That transition takes alot of time. I feel that it should start quicker.

Sometimes, I got stuck inside a platform. Possible collsion issue maybe.

All the effects and fluidity of the controls make it a good game. Great work!!

There definitely needs to be a delay between pac man chasing you and the level loading (or more space between the two of you) As it stands right now. if you are not instantly reacting you will die and have to start over no matter what. Plus when the new level changes if you don't take your finger off the arrow key your movement will not be recognized and you will die instantly.

Also for quality of life type of improvements, I think this needs a restart from the last level type of system. Having to replay each level just because you died in one of the later ones is pretty frustrating.
