Wow that was so beautiful. And what a cool concept to.
Great chill game, love the aesthetic and peaceful music.
@armadillq We're working on it right now. Unity decided to explode at the last moment for the WebGL build.
So cute!!! The animations are greatm, and the sheeps are so cute!!! I was just a bit confused by what should I do with the orange "thingies" that come out when I sell the sheeps LOL. Overall, pretty good and cute game!
@fluffy-kaeloky No worries at all just for convince. The art style caught my eye so ill stick around to play
I feel like this was the best incremental game I've ever played. The ending made me chuckle. Graphics and audio were well done. Great job!
The music is very clam. Sets the correct mood for some relaxing gameplay. The animations are very smooth and grasp the player for a while.
Solid game!!!!!!!!! Feels like a finished product! I really love the mechanics and overall challenge. Would be perfect if I didn't lose a key on the road somehow Q_Q. Hah but really amazing work.
Heyoooo, checking in to remind you about the source :eyes: @fluffy-kaeloky
@nyunesu Hi ! Sure thing, I can share sources via PM. Poke me on Discord with Fluffy_Kaeloky#0117.
@Wyatt Thanks ! And yeah we also happened to lose a couple keys like that. The reward pipes launch them a bit too strongly, but we didn't have time to fix it. I'll get a post jam fix for that ;)
Les graphismes sont chouettes, la musique est adaptée, le mood est agréable.. Super jeu !
This was absolutely gorgeous. I loved every second of it. I was extremely relaxed while playing and surprisingly was brought back to the feelings I had when playing Stardew Valley. I think my favorite part of the game though is the fact that you put in automation. Being able to explore the world you created was incredible. Astoundingly well done!
I came to see the art, I stayed to play a great game. Really great job. The art is wonderful, the design and gameplay are wonderful, the sound/music is wonderful. The launcher is a little strong :D but it seems like you guys already know that.
Best game seen so far! Graphics, details and audio are wonderful. This makes me think about the art of the video game Pan-Pan.
Ollie & Bollie much ?
ollie&bollie.png
@Anonymous, It certainly is a great game, that gives us so much inspiration !
Lovely graphics and sound! I found the gameplay to be a bit inscrutable, though; one of my robots just grabbed a sheep and held it near the truck, the other would just keep wandering off. Getting automation into a game jam is ambitious, in any case, so I'm still impressed that it works as well as it does!
Lovely graphics and sound! I never figured if there was a larger gameplay other than filling trucks with sheeps but loved playing it! Really nice entry!
@killscreen Yep, we do have some issues with the AIs sometimes. (Well, ok, often x) )
If anything, in this jam, I've learnt that this is the last time I try to write AIs with multiple behaviours without behaviour trees x)
Very good game you got here. Love the graphics, but the camera gave me a headache over time, maybe make it less bouncy? I also experienced the AI issues that other people did, they got stuck on orbs and threw sheep into the street (that part was actually a rather amusing flaw). Overall, well done.
Was a bit let down when the tube spit a key and it landed on the road where I couldn't pick it up :( but apart from that, automating sheeps... just genius! Loved the artstyle, the animations, the environment, the music. Simply amazing. Awesome work.
Amazing. Incredibly polished! Well done.
It's a very easy going game I liked the graphics and as soon as I discovered the robots I was hooked! ...okay maybe it was when I stood on a mushroom and it made a farting noise
Haha, great work! Pretty and funny!
A great innocent and relaxing game. Loved the calm music and the art style. The farting mushrooms are top notch!
You created a great world
This is so cute, I love the art and the animations!
I chuckled when I got the robot, it is cute and it would throw the sheep in the road sometimes, hahaha
well that's the best game jam game i've ever played! everything about it from the mechanics to the farting mushrooms is outstanding. take a bow dev people, you win in my books :)
Very nice game! I love the sound when you step on a mushroom :D Simple, yet very fun!
Relaxing experience, don't really get what where those orange balls, and how to go faster if it's possible, but love the graphics the music. Thanks for the entry
Love the graphics and character's animation ! Sheep's ragdoll is very funny. Lot of fun running around with sheeps in my arms to throw them everywhere. Not sure what I was doing though, maybe there's a lack of feedback related to the actions we make ?
such a great game!! I love the graphics and sounds! the mechanics and animations are amazing! great work!
Maybe the most quiet game which I have ever seen for a LudumDare entry. The animations are amazing - smooth, cute and fun. The main gameplay is not really unusual, but I had fun playing. I love the banjo as a background track. You did a solid entry. Well done. Thank you. I wish you the best ++
Very nice game entry! Very polished, I am a huge fan of the colors and mood. This game had me laughing sheep were a great choice.
Thats a quite solid and funny entry.
Never expected to see what proposes to be a relaxing game but includes some kind of automation mechanic. And it actually works (not only as the intented mechanic but along with the relaxing theme).
I was prone to comment about the sheep treatment until i saw the end, which also was quite the fun and surprise.
Somehow the graphics manage to be simplistic yet attractive. I guess its the minimalist aesthetic that is pleasant and fit the relaxing theme along the gently melody.
It just runs a little away from the theme when it's not your life that is the currency, but the sheep.
Anyway, excellent job making this game. Hoping to see more quality content in the next jams!
(is that sound from stepping the mushrooms ... huh ... farts?)
@derek-volker Hey ! I remember you, you made Death Wish for the LD 43 ! Anstabo and me did CROM.
And thanks ! As for the last question, well ... we were tired. We'll put that on the tiredness, yes.
Hey @fluffy-kaeloky im following you guys and other developers that made nice games in previous editions in order to not lose some of the best ludum dare content. Im really glad you remembered Death Wish
This is gorgeous! Very humorous and relaxing. My favorite so far!
I really liked this. I mostly liked exploring the fantastic little world you created. The amorphous environment was trippy and engaging. Good work!
This game is so polished and well executed. The art and animation has so much charm. Loved to figure out how the mechanics could be better used to automate the process. Good job =)
I love the vibe of this so much that I will have it playing in the background while I chill and perhaps do some cooking ... the animations are so fluid man how do you do that thing? This actually made me smile from the start, such a nice work folks, congratulations!
I managed to get a sheep through the gate without opening it btw, which also made me laugh =) ... thanks for this
Okay - this game was super polished and really well done. I'm amazed that you knocked this out over a weekend! The game is gorgeous, and the music fits really well with the setting. I also found myself laughing out loud at a few points. This game is also very relaxing, except for when all of my sheep decided to jump off a cliff. Really nice job - I had a blast playing!
I laughed so hard when I first saw a robot throw a sheep into the back of the truck hahaha!
Really enjoyed the automation and the overall relaxing tone of the game. It's really impressive that you guys made something of this quality in such a short time frame!
Amazing game with really relaxing mood ! The Music, the sounds, the graphics and the concept are incredible ! I love the main character idle animation !
very cool game i love the graphics so much !
My sheep decided to build a totem xD
sheep it funny totem.png
Very cool game I wanted to play since the first post during the jam. Great work!
Very cute game and graphics so lovely!
Nice game! It crashed after a while (html5 version)
Wow! Amazing sheeps and graphics i must say its one of those games you play just to chill and relax.
Amazing graphics and animation. Managed to fall down to the road and could not get up, but otherwise a great game!
Absolutely wonderful, love the art style :)
It was great! The animations are hilarious, audio fits the style (mushrooms were fun to step on), the art is fantastic and the automation mechanics work very well (after you figure out how to properly set up the waypoints). You really feel like your making progress by figuring out you to best get the sheep where they need to go. I didn't quite get the ending though and throwing sheep into the truck seemed unnecessarily challenging at time. A little anticipation animation before the truck leaves would've helped. If you have some more ideas on automation and how to progress further, I'd encourage you to continue work on this, it might have some potential beyond the jam!
walk on a mushroom, it fart... It's a good game
Haha, loved the ending.
Very charming game, the animations and the overall art direction were top-notch. The character movement and the sheep ragdolling added a lot of character to the game. Same goes for the music, a great package on the whole, really.
Nice work! It was a little heavy on my laptop, framerate kept dropping. Great visuals and fitting music as well! well done :)
Really nice cartoony graphics and animation style, the fact that the sheep could make derpy towers was quite hilarious too!
My goodness, the noodle-arms, the idle dance. Hilarious. Lots to explore too! Well done on making such a polished little gem.
Great game, loved the art style and background music, it really is relaxing, the first time i trough a sheep in the truck was so funny.
I got captured by the cool graphics so I had to try it. I think the color palette is really really nice: how do you guys choose such a good palette? I mean what is the process of choosing this wonderful colors? I would like to learn more about it. The game title is super super cool, I always struggle to find cool names for my games :( . I found the mechanic of throwing the sheep onto the truck quite annoying, I wish there was a better way to drive the player towards a clean linear progression while exploring this beautiful world. On the other hand tho, I spent 15 minutes jumping on the mushrooms to hear those juice sounds :) . Really good job on sounds and the music is very relaxing. Overall a really good experience. I think this game has already a lot of potential. Good work!
beautiful art style, it completely suits how i would expect a game with sheep frolicking in a field to look :) the music and sound effects pair with it so nicely too!
Awesome cool little game, very relaxing and easy on the nerves, can't say much else, it's all very nice and polished.
Man, the feel of this game is so cool. The graphics are awesome, and the animations just make it all come together. The background music is also perfect (and the sound effects are great, especially the mushrooms haha). It also just runs and feels really good mechanically. Seriously, the production value is so good for a LD game. The only issue I had is that, after awhile, I didn't feel that motivated to keep tossing sheep into the truck despite the tools and robots that came to help. It would be cool if there were some other elements to the game, like the ability to build things that could help you, etc. There's a lot of potential to this game as far as continuing to expand the concept. Overall though, such a good entry. One of my favorites so far. Nice work!
@joe-bustamante I feel you on this one. Unfortunately, we ran out of time for adding content, and we prefered to polish what we already had on the last day instead of adding things. If anything, as the programmer, I could have gone faster if I made the AIs with behaviors trees. That's something I learnt this jam : not doing another semi-complex (multiple behaviors styles) AI by hand x)
Perhaps we should make the game a little easier on the sheep count, but once you manage to create all the relays for the sheeps, the truck constantly goes with 15+ sheeps. It's really a matter of if the player does automate or not for the game length ^^
lol wonerful graphic and concept
Super cute, up until the Godzilla roar! o_o
This was the complete package for me: fun graphics and animation (especially the idle), soothing sound, and surprisingly interesting gameplay. It's not just about throwing sheep into a truck!
Very cute and charming graphic style!
A very fun and beautiful game, really cool concept
Nice vegetation shading (apart of some trees showing the tip of the trunk on top of It), i would add some "see through" feature to avoid occclusion of the protagonist, robot, and sheeps.
Increase the "breaks volume alittle more" and emit a "horn" sfx for the truck when it arrives to assist the user;
Some "grab" sfx like a protagonist "grunt" to add some weight to the sheep, some grunt to the throw action to add some force and stregnth, also a sheep feedback to maybe add the feeling of hugging It;
Change completely the orange balls that you use to lure the ships by something that looks like a bait (carrots, apples, lettuce);
Some Reverberance to increase the sensation of a more open space.
Really fun and professional game! You can tell that you guys are a serious studio with a big Steam game on the way! This deserves the attention it gets! The graphics are extremely stylised and cute, be it the art style, the shaders, or the animations. It's very cute. The premise is simple and you hit the nail on the head about it being relaxing. I will say it's not perfect. I had a few bugs where the robots were a bit confused and kept going in random directions and turning after a little bit, as well as the sheeps (^-^) going in circles in a corner by the little stream. However, on the whole, very good. Now, I will say, there is an issue with the web version. I believe I had 77 sheeps left to throw when I got this error: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/477349680586555392/573504608605831188/unknown.png I don't know if this is present on Windows as well, but it certainly is annoying. Nonetheless, fun game, well-made, extremely professional! Well done!
@wfmg We had the same bug delaying the WebGL release at first. We fixed it going from Unity 2018 to 2019 (and applying a couple bugfixes after that). Unfortunately, the window your are seeing is the result of the bug. If you have the window still open, the bug that actually caused that will have it's stacktrace printed in the dev console (Opened by pressing F12). With the screenshot you gave, I unfortunately can't make any conclusion from it :<
Anyway, thanks for the kind words and bug report, I'm glad you still enjoyed the game ! And sorry about that ruining your playthrough :s
Wow! This is the most polished and entry I have played. Everything has it's place and feels complete. The sheep, the soft music, the farting mushrooms, the squat-dancing idle character, the process of discovery as new items get shunted out of the tool pipe... it all fits together perfectly.
Highlights for me were discovering that the sheep orbs make you a pied-piper of sheep, and unlocking the first door only to have all the sheep get distracted by the pit of death.
It was a joy to play, and the mega-sheep ending was the cherry on top
This could EASILY be on Steam, very complete and polished game with a lovely relaxing feeling. one of the few 5/5 on this jam, absurdly good job guys
I loved the art, the colors and the mood. I could have spent more time playing it if I had some feedbacks on my actions. What was those orange orbs ? I like relaxing games, it's inspiring, so I put it in my collection on itch.io, I hope there will be an update.
Holy cow...sheep. This is maybe the most polished game i played so far. I have the feeling i only got a glimpse of all the content on the first run so i will definitely play this one again. Good luck with your main project!
What an awesome game! The graphics style is so nice, and the peaceful music is perfect. I had a lot of fun using those automated machines and luring herds of sheep around. The ending was funny too! Maybe the best game I've played so far :)
Very good entry. I especially love the graphics and audio, they really make for a cohesive experience. Good job!
Really enjoyed the music and art style.
That ending. Damn. Also really cool game, enjoyed it a lot. Not many rough spots which is super impressive for a game jam game. Excellent art style, animation and audio. Top job altogether!
Great graphics and funny sound effects (mushrooms and sheep)! I was worried that there wouldn't be enough sheep, since a bunch of them fell in between the truck and the bank of the road. However I noticed that they keep respawning, so that was no problem. The broken fence near the cliff that you can kinda fix with the movable fence was funny since sheep kept trying to jump down. The sheep also kept walking in circles and sometimes didn't react to the orange sphere (untill you walk into them). Sometimes the sheep form a very high stack of sheeps, this mainly happens on the bridge and the spawn area near the cliff. I thought that 150 made the game to long. The robots were a good addition, but the game kinda plays itself after that.
What a nice solid game! It was relaxing and very fun! I loved the musci, the animations, the graphics. Some sound fx were very funny. The truck animation is expecially good and it was fun trying to aim for it (playing with wasd wasn't very comfortable. If you just could add arrows!)
Really funny game. I fell in love with those bouncing sheeps since the very first moment. Music is relaxing and perfectly fits the global mood. I'm one of the ones who prefer arrows to WASD, but it is really a minor issue! My only problem is that i keep hit E instead of W, throwing my sheeps everywere (and losing time to laugh at their bouncing behaviour).
So well rounded and polished game! I really dig the art and animations. But everything else is amazing too. Congrts!
One of the most beautiful graphics I've seen on this LD. :sheep:
I'm not sure if I beat it, but a robot got stuck in a tree.. RobotOnTree.png
And a giant angry sheep came out of the tube and roared. WrathOfTheSheepLord.png
This is fantastic. It all works well together. The art, sounds, and gameplay combine to form a relaxing, yet compelling, experience. I enjoyed this immensely.
This is amazing!! How you made this in 72 hours I don't know but you sure did it well. This is a very relaxing and fun sheep game that I played too much! Great job!
@coatline A bit of experience with Unity, good programming libraries for lots of things such as pathfinding, tweening and various tricks ... not a lot of sleep and pizzas ;)
I liked! I really enjoyed the game. The quiet background music is very good, the art is simple and beautiful and the design is clean. Hahaha I stole some sheep through the fence, I don't know if it is intentional that this can be done, but I found it funny. The behavior of the sheep is cute to see, the robots help a lot, even if sometimes they get stuck in something somewhere. The game itself even being repetitive can be a lot of fun, I spent a lot of time playing.
ps: Haha I didn't know that the sheep could be suicidal xD (in one of the times I wanted to get rid of some spheres, so I tried to play one on the cliff, but It didn't disappear, It stayed there and the sheep were jumping from there and I didn't know what to do, I didn't know whether to laugh or if I jumped too ~~you can't do that~~) The ending was unexpected hahaha. Great job!
Super nice entry, super peaceful, and really lovely to watch. There's not that much to add, nor to change. Really enjoyed that one!
This game is so cute!! The color palette, the music, everything about this is so nice and relaxing! The animations made me giggle a lot^^ It's great that there are multiple ways you can complete the task! Just overall really nice :)
Really loved the atmosphere of this game! The way you manage to convey such a relaxed and calm feeling by throwing sheep into a truck! For a gamejam game this feels very polished and professional, good job on that.
Thanks for this awesome experience.
Really awesome game! This is one of my favorites so far :)
The music, sound effects, animations and interactions all established a fun and inviting mood to the game. The first time I stepped on a shroom, I didn't know what happened. Then when I got to the shroom-filled area, I laughed as I frolicked through the fart field.
My only suggestion is really minor: try to fit the waypointing globes better within your setting.
If all the content of this beautiful game was done in a weekend, you guys are incredible. Amazing, art, animations, music and game design!
Super chill, super beautiful. Your attention to detail is what really grabbed me: stepping on mushrooms is *so* well-done!!!
Played till the end. Now I'm playing it again! Full marks, congratulations!!
Brilliant little game would have liked a little more of an tutorial. also had problems understanding when i would get stuff and when i didnt but who cares i can carry sheep with the most adorable spaghetti legs i have ever seen
Very cute, loved the wobbly art style on the foliage.
One of the better entries I've seen - so serene!
Both the audio and the visuals are absolutely top notch. Initially I imagined collecting the sheep would be tedious, but it becomes strangely relaxing. The only gripe I have, is that the connection with the theme isn't quite there. There's also a bug where if you jump against a wall you consistently get stuck in the jumping animation, being unable to jump again or pick up anything until you somehow maneuver yourself back into the running animation. Other than that, the game is an absolute joy! Good job!
Well, I think I beat the game.^^" When I saw the Muscular Sheep I took a screenshot (with ShareX), the gamescreen went black and paf back to 150 sheep to put in the truck.
Anyway, the animations are great and really fun, especially the character's walk cycle. The music suits well the game and is pretty relaxing.
I loved the robots and how they work. It really adds to the game and provide a fun thing that wanders around to grab sheep.
Nice job on the gameplay overall. :)
Awesome! This has a very polished feel to it. The art and animation looks terrific. The controls work fine but feeld a little bit delayed. The core gameplay is refreshing and the upgrade system feels natural and makes one curious to see what comes next.
I didn't know that to do with the fence part at first and opened the lock and for whatever reason, the sheep started commited suicide. Then I knew that you need to place the fence there. Then I fell in that same pit by accident... and it looked like the game reset? I'm not sure, my upgrades were gone, but there was no indication of a game over or something.
All in all, a very refreshing game. Good work!
Amazing, the programming, graphics, humor.. :D
Superb graphics, great animations, interesting "hidden features", a very polished feeling. I was able to walk out of the map and the game got reset, which was annoying. Also, my character's animation sometimes froze in the middle of jumping. With some more explanations about the gameplay, this could be a great game!
Great game mate! Very relaxing. The graphics are simple ad fit the tone of the game nicely. Nice, relaxing colour scheme too. Well done!
That was amazing! Great job! Really polished all around. The animation was fun to watch and the sound effects made it that much better, too. The only thing I might add is something to explain what the pipe is before anything comes out of it. I messed around with it for a while before throwing the sheep in the truck. Otherwaise fantastic game!
Wonderful game! The sheeps were cute and I liked figuring out how to automate the sheep collecting. The only problem I had was that it seemed a bit glitchy. I fell off the map at one point while exploring and had to start over. Then I fell onto the road and couldn't get back up and I was going to just quit, but I somehow managed to glitch back onto the main part of the map and I beat the game.
Loved this game, cute graphics and nice ending!
Now this is a clever little game. :) I love how you're able to pick up on the mechanics of it without any sort of explicit instruction. Simply interacting with the world is all you need to do to understand and learn what your objective is and how to follow through on it.
I loved being able to discover how to automate my sheep herding, and the sense of progression felt real and natural.
I will say that the fence was a bit of a confusing inclusion, especially since I only ever found one use for it. I would have liked to see more applications to the items I got from the pipe of mystery, but given this was a jam game, and what you already managed to make here is incredibly impressive, I can look past it.
Y'all made a really nice, peaceful, and funny game here. :) Well done!
They are SO FLUFFY!!! <3
loved it art sound and gameplay are flawless great job
I imagine you didn't make an entire rig in for example something like Maya or something like that. What's the workflow for this kind of animation? Are these entirely Unity ik's or something? Or is it purely blendshapes? How do you get the noodle arm/leg effect with this speed of development?
@lieropart I did took time to make a rig for the character in Blender and used an IK system to make it easier for me to animate, you can see the rig on my twitter: https://twitter.com/BruteForceGame/status/1122555136205885441 The noodle arms and legs are just the product of a lot of vertex loops and bones with a surf modifier at the end to smooth it all.
@anstabo Oh wow. Forgive me for assuming some 'magic trick'. Nice work!
Ultracute! :D
This is a very well rounded and polished game. Feels finished. The graphics and color palete have their own style. The controls are great. But some mechanics are not clear enough. I could use orbs to make sheeps follow me, but why I need more than one? Also the truck timer looked like a timer to end the level at first.
