One More Drop by ZAX 2019-05-03T15:26:10Z

I loved the soundtrack. Really chill. It felt like something you'd hear in Minecraft before the drumbeat kicks in. That with the graphics made for a really fitting mood.

As it was I'd say the game was too easy, maybe make waves faster and vary enemy types with projectiles or something or make it so you have to defend the house during waves.

The visuals are very nice and it has one of the best songs I've heard yet.

It may just be a bug with the web version, but it makes a buzzing sound every second. The map design was surprisingly well-done and some of the art was enjoyable. I would focus more on the jumping in the future, giving it acceleration to make it feel more natural.

Really enjoyed the music and art style.

@Arcus Thanks for the feedback! This was a solo project and my first game jam so I think I overextended a bit mechanically and had to use my placeholder art in the final product. Besides adding more waves, art and sound are the main changes I want to make for a commercial release in the future.

@arcus Yeah, I didn't realize how overambitious my project had become until halfway through day 2 and at that point simplifying the mechanics to remove card combos would have been boring, so I opted for mechanical depth over polish. This was a lot of fun so I'll remember to keep my ideas smaller for future jams. What I really wasn't prepared for is the drop of productivity when you've been working on the same game for 6+ hours in a row and you start to lose concentration.

Evolve your slime by SirRafufl 2019-05-03T15:44:41Z

I really enjoyed how the abilities worked. I got to a point when the reds started spawning where I hadn't upgraded damage and had to rely on my speed to get them to group in the middle and strafe around them. I think more enemy types that keep you on your toes in terms of different upgrades to buy would be really fun.
