I love the loot boxes! Great work! Would love to try the game on a controller.

I love the loot boxes! Great work! Would love to try the game on a controller.
Super top tier art. Love the menus, the colors, the polish overall. Fantastic work! The only thing I feel like I needed was a little more guidance in terms of like the amount of laps I'd done, and how much distance until I finished the run. I feel like maybe a linear path where upon completing a 'lap', you'd be teleported back to the start (like snowboard kids) would have made things more self-explanatory.
Fun game! The mechanics were very self-explanatory. I feel like I might have cheesed my way through a few levels by walking on the very edges of tiles.
The world map was a very cute addition.
Great platformer that had echoes of Super Mario World. Of all the obstacles, I found the saw to be a bit unpredictable, but overall had good difficulty. Nice work!
Fun game! Despite not really knowing what I was doing at first, I managed to finish it on the first try. I get the feeling it was easy overall, kind of the vibe of a first 'tutorial' mission. Perhaps a longer gameloop would make things more challenging!
A very fun collection of minigames! Loved the variety and the art style changes between in-game and out-of-game. You make enough mistakes, lose enough games, and it feels super hopeless. Maybe the Warioware style of 'lose 5 games = gameover' would be a bit more fair?
Always love your stuff!
Love those wall effects. Enjoyable game with a great arcade-y feel. Am always impressed with your sound design!
Fantastic aesthetics. Would love to play a full fledged game with this look!
A fun game that taught me a lot about System32. Thanks!
Fun game! I liked being at the mercy of the physics. I feel like it'd be neat if there was more incentive to guard the family. Like perhaps they grant powerups?
Simple but enjoyable brainteasers. Would love to play something like this on mobile!
Fun and ambitious game! Takes a few tries to figure out an optimal start, shot myself in the foot a bit on my first playthrough. Cute art!
Hello @outstar! Apparently this might be related to not having enough memory available when installing the game. You might have to make some space. Smoke, once installed, is around 100MB.
Thank you @hunter-towe @chris-coe @foxwater and so many others. Me and @upstairs-breh are very touched by your genuinely kind comments. While it's a silly and strange little game, at it's core the adventure is made better if the player relates to what's going on in Smoke's life, or at the very least has empathy for his decision-making. Amazing that so many of you connected on that deeper level! Bravo! You've looked inside yourself and decided that

Glad you enjoyed the game, @gil4! Yea, you hit the nail on the head with a lot of aspects of the games, such as the bees being a way to suggest that there's more to explore.
While ideally it would have been great to have multiple 'judgements' at the end of the game, just wasn't possible with the time limit. That would for sure be something that would get expanded on in a bigger release.
That being said I think the idea that the objects/smoke face is the reward, and that the judgement comes from the player is a great interpretation that a lot of people have gone with. What is the state of Smokes life, and how as the player have you influenced it?
Thanks again for playing.
Of all the games I played, yours scared me the most. Well done!
Very ambitious idea that reminds me of some old computer games I played back in the day. A few of the UI quirks made things a little harder to understand then they should have been.
Simple and crisp gameplay, just the way I like it! Some fps issues made it so I couldn't make some jumps, but offstream it was fine. Thanks for a fun game!
A simple and fun platformer with some great puzzles. I enjoyed the pace and the challenge. Good job!
Neat upgrades, and simple + fun aesthetic. Looking forward to future entries by you!
Fun idea! I think in a game of this nature, the recoil made things really hard. I also feel like most areas of the screen are simply too dangerous to click in, and ended up camping the top middle part of the screen. Felt real good to have a window to do some spamfire!
The aesthetic of the faces were quite hilarious. I had flashbacks of Goldeneye 64. I feel like the gameplay loop wasn't that challenging and that movement was quite slow, but I was digging the punch. Would love if I could bowl over multiple people with one punch.
Congrats on your first LD! Here's to many more! A fun game with some cute art. My main criticism would be it was tough protecting my giant cloud hitbox, and that the music loop could have been longer. That being said, I liked the enemy types and the progressive difficulty. Good job!
Enjoyable simple concept. I did enjoy the effects when you died, but on your last 'life' things are so crazy it's quite hard to make use of it!
Haha! Finally catching up!
Loved the sounds and the satisfaction of punching away shapes. Loads of fun! I felt pretty powerless against the shapes growing in my cup as it's really hard to hit the appropriate powerup to defuse the situation. I also found that when you control some of the shapes (DAMN YOU BANANA) it was a lot harder to connect with hits. Perhaps a more consistent player shape would make things a little more straightforward, like a slap hand or a punch hand.
Great work!
Great art! I Think there should for sure be a bigger punishment/death for getting hit by the hunter, as he was avoided easily. A few other hazards/enemies would have been nice too.
I also wonder, was the game intended for 4player, considering there's all those portraits up top? Thanks for the game!
@thesomeonexd Speaking as someone who was demolished by the spider a lot, returning back to fight it and blowing it out of the water is the most satisfying thing ever. (but have you found the clown spider?) Thank you for playing!
@cassio-eduardo @unplugred you can get in a bit of trouble if you scarf down EVERYTHING/lose a lot of fights. It can make you pretty low on items. I'd recommend attempting to complete the Dollar Bill bosses without dying, that sets you up for success/you'll have enough items to not have to sleep as much!
Thank you for playing!
@goosyberry That's currently a bug with the html5 version! The downloadable version is the way to go to avoid that.
@nikolay-zapolnov Windows updates are required.
Not gonna lie, I got super stumped on the color puzzle. I think having to imagine the rock turning a different color while it remained the green color palette was a bit too much of a disconnect for me. Having the rock be dark or light and the sprite reflect that (This would require a different puzzle) would be a bit easier to grasp. Overall though, great presentation, and I really appreciated seeing what GBStudio can do. Will be giving it a go myself!
I like the minimalist colors with bright saturated highlights. Very pleasing! A fun game.
I have to commend you on your color palette and the brushes you used. A cohesive and fantastic art-style. Also, nice to revisit my cashier math skills.
The screams were hilarious. Many villagers were sacrificed to Bacon.
Great style with a lovely palette. The glowing sprites were nice too. I think the sound effects also panned depending on enemy location? Nice.
Fun game! I feel like the shop maybe muddled thing a bit, as I found I could just but 20x double jumps to cheese every level.
What if instead there was no shop and the double jump/dash cost health to use ingame?
I really enjoyed the art style you went for here. A well thought out choice, considering you had to work efficiently. Well done!
Cute visuals! Lots of pastel eggdogs to appreciate. Perhaps this marks the beginning of your career as a VN author!
I am floored. An absolute treat. I had so much fun playing this. You've done something amazing. The planting inventory was so great. And demolishing the final boss with my 6-sword style was beyond satisfying. Amaaaaaazing work!
