nice game man
I wanna play your game, but I have only Linux Mint on my machine. I can’t rate your game, sorry. See our game (it’s multiplatform).
At first I was mad I only had the spacebar as an input but it grew on me.
This was surprisingly addictive! Simple concept, but really well put together. Well done! The slowly growing shapes made it really intense, I had several moments where I barely removed them last second before I would have lost. The only thing that put me off a bit was that the container shapes aren't always the same and don't feel balanced. Makes it hard to properly keep track of your record and compare it with others... Anyway, my overall best was 84.56 sec
Not bad for 1st jam
This is a great time killer.
Great and addictive game, could be really cool if you continue it. Besides, those sounds were hilarious
This game is like an hyper casual game that you see on the app which are mostly built with buildbox I think. With that being said this a great and addictive game and I think that this should actually be turned into a mobile game. I really liked the sound effects I just wished that there was some background music. I also like the fact that the shape of the containers are random as it keeps the game interesting. Anyway this was a really great game and I do hope that you turn this game into a mobile game in the near future. That being said have a good day. BTW my high score was 93.48 seconds.
Cool :)
Some ideas:
Feels like it would fit well if the shapes was fruits? Maybe if you see a little more when the shapes spawn but that the shapes spawn in a different rhythm each time. And when you pick up a shape it moves in different speed depending on which shape it is? Music adds a lot.
Interesting game, haven't seen something like it before :)
the game is funny, the graphics are limited, but the game is pretty fine.
*60 seconds in* : "If I can get over 100 seconds, I rate this game"
*90 seconds in* : "Nooo... I'm so close..."
*96 seconds in* : This last piece is going to make it full
*98 seconds in* : All orange shapes disappear, I lose a half of what was in the jar
__**EPIC !**__
I held on to around 137 seconds.
So yeah, it was pretty fun ^^, especially seeing the pieces fly through the screen, spinning like crazy an ending up touching those eraser things... or not.
I don't think changing the jars feels very balanced, but hey, that's some diversity out there.
Maybe an exit game button would have been nice (or at least I couldn't find it)
And I don't know if I'm not skillfull enough, are if it is simply unpossible, but being able to throw pieces while yours go back to its original position could have been really nice !
I also experienced a bug where I hit space but nothing moved on screen, but only once.
Other than that, I had much fun !
And those sound effects... Pure **GENIUS** !
Absolutely loved the concept, great twist on a classic and a nice interpretation of the game. :) Found myself addicted to it, for a good 15 minutes.
Awesome job mate! ^_^
Don't be sorry about your bugs, fix them! Specially in this jam, where bugfix is allowed  Overall, great game!
@aszu , what bugs? All working 100% as intended. haha. Thanks for the great feedback :)
@devin-brimer yeah, there are no bugs, but you wrote this message in the menu "if you find any bugs, sorry, this is a jam game"
Interesting concept, and with simple graphics, it works so good :)
Loved the sounds and the satisfaction of punching away shapes. Loads of fun! I felt pretty powerless against the shapes growing in my cup as it's really hard to hit the appropriate powerup to defuse the situation. I also found that when you control some of the shapes (DAMN YOU BANANA) it was a lot harder to connect with hits. Perhaps a more consistent player shape would make things a little more straightforward, like a slap hand or a punch hand.
Great work!
Very interesting concept for this little game of reflexes! I liked the minimalist style and the soundscape! I think with a little more variety in the gameplay and a few more feedbacks the game would be even better! Great job!
