I made it only 15% through the wormhole thing. God dammit tunnel vision.
Pretty simple game but you did an OK job overall. I'd just make an algorithm to prevent the green things from spawning parallel to each other. And I can't hear the music, for some reason. Am I doing something wrong?
spawning parallel is intended because you can collect both if you swap to the more distant lane at the right moment. The music should play automatically, I only tested on chrome though. Do you hear the typing sound effects?
Good job! I loved playing typing games when I was younger. My only comment is that it seems to be really hard to make progress, but maybe i'm just bad at typing!

Sadly the game crashes for me after a short while. The idea is great tho
@sadsmile do you remember the error message? which browser did you use? I hope I can find the bug and fix it.
Really fun, but tough. Lots of parallel drops making it extremely challenging to "make progress into the wormhole". Love the idea and really solid execution!
Thanks for publishing!
I'd say make the game shorter to keep the replayability and the player's interest alive and fresh. Typing for so long can eventually feel tedious, even if there's an incentive to keep on doing so. Maybe next time add a speed boost and have the words shorter to type so progress can be made faster.
This introduction text made me laugh for about 10 minutes, I even read it out loud to some friends. Very good humour!
I love games where the main mechanism is to write. Very nice game!
Good Job! :)
Very challenger! I'm very very VERY sucks in quick typing! heheehheeh Great Job!
Made me realise I suck at typing! good challenge! Graphics could do with a little work and the sound design, but great work!
@aurelwuensch Nice idea and made me realise i can either type or look at the screen😂
Dang... that was tough and I'm a good typist. Nice work! Visuals were nice. Appropriately challenging. I feel like I earned my score.
I am not a good typist!
This was a fun entry. The concept was simple but well thought out. I liked how the game got harder by making the words longer. I find that I type a lot of words from muscle memory and hitting the strange words was difficult.
Sound and music were fine and worked well with the aesthetic. I liked the final scene where my ship (repeatedly) blew up. Nicely done!
Really neat combination of ideas for gameplay! I didn't realize that the tanks were something you were supposed to pick up at first, whoops! Thanks for sharing your game with my stream! You can see the vod here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297479036?t=02h39m09s

This is a great game & idea!
I don't know if it was intentional but it would be cool to not hit rocks when changing lanes. For example if i change from the left outer to the right outer, i don't want to hit rocks in the middle lanes.
Some kind of "Health" indicator would be nice too, and some kind of feedback what the tanks do.
@testlab we tried both hitting while changing lanes and not hitting tanks/asteroid. It's more fun to be able to pick up tanks in between lanes when changing lanes, but can also be a bit frustrating to hit asteriods with it. Overall we thought it makes the game a bit more tactical than just being focused on the typing aspect.
Regarding the health. There is a progress bar on the very bottom of the game which shows your progress to the goal and the black hole which is coming to destroy you. It however is way less visible than we expected it to be and we'd definitely change it if we had the opportunity to go back in time.
Also agree that a bit better intro to what the asteroids (slow down) and tanks (speed up) actually do would make it clearer what to do.

@aurelwuensch Oh i've seen the bar at the bottom but i thought that this shows the distance that i traveled with the ship.
