Quite a unique idea and fun too! Well done
A fun game with a great take on the theme! Nice progression system that kept me playing for a long time! Well done.
Very unique and fun! Well done!
Really, really cool! I find it a bit boring however, and a bit tedious to collect all the coins. I would prefer it if the coins didn't disappear, so I could collect a whole stash at once. It's just so satisfying!
Maybe a little repetitive, but the concept was very original. Also, nice graphics. Good job.
i have ascended!!! 11 minutes.
it's like an idle clicker with inverse bullet hell mechanics. good fun, and the cute sound effects help a lot with that. could really do with a jazzy arcade soundtrack on top.
What a great concept! I really liked it :D Graphics and sounds done really well too.
Really great art! loved the unique twist on the theme. not much to do once you have lots of money however. Still, wonderful use of the theme! :)
This is a great idea! I really hope you go forward and add some nice tunes, because that would really be the icing on the cake.
This is a really fun game! I love the whole concept and how the upgrades system works together with the goal of the game. Really solid entry.
Some music would have really helped, but other than that the game felt great to play, and buying a new upgrade or discovering a new type of coin always felt great and rewarding.
I really enjoyed this. The twist of seeking out enemies instead of avoiding them is fun. I like that it starts off simple but then really ramps up at the end with lasers and bombs and coins all over the place.
Sound effects work really well but the lack of music does stand out when you are in the shop and it is suddenly all silent. Also, I thought the enemy upgrade screen could communicate exactly what you're upgrading better. Those are minor issues though, the main thing is that this was a lot of fun to play. Great work.
The sound effects and animations are all super satisfying and make me want to play more. This game feels like it's mastered the charms of the Game Boy Advance era. Super good.
I DID IT!

Just a heads up, on a Macbook Ctrl+Shift+Click doesn't work because "Ctrl+Click" does a right click.
Really fun game with an unique idea. Though it would benefit from having background music (at least early on, since later all you can hear is the sound of collecting money)
This was so much fun! I was so into it that I didn't realize it was over until my safe ascended into heaven or whatever. It starts off so calming and soothing and becomes to chaotic and fun. Very glad there is an endless mode.
Was a bit hard to get going, but once that happened, it ended pretty quickly :frowning:
Interesting idea :D
OMG I played it for like 20 min on and off while trying to read a journal article, and now that ive come here to rate the game you're telling me THAT YOU CAN UPGRADE ENEMIES??!??! This is awesome! I played only with the first enemy and was just upgrading my charater's attributes! Must go back and play with enemies!
I loved playing this game and the idea. Too bad there is no music and I'm not sure what all the enemies do, especially the skeleton-like one.
Got some Nitrome vibes from this game. Very fun and different kind of view of the theme.
Amazing 10/10. Super satisfying, especially when you get trapped in a corner! Impressive performance too, managed to drop the framerate eventually but it could handle a lot! Endless mode is an excellent inclusion :) safe.png
Woooah super fun! Really great graphics too. I was a bit worried when there was no music, but it would have gotten in the way of all the lovely coin collecting sounds, so I didn't miss it once I got going :)
Excellent game. Art and sound on point, simple gameplay but really really polished! I enjoyed it, good work!
Such a great idea - I really like the concept of upgrading your enemies. The visuals are also super polished.
Haha that "you want enemies to hit you" twist is pretty good, congratulations on dodging the theme so well! Pretty much everything is good, but I was a bit disappointed with the upgrade interface, it doesn't say much about what you're actually buying :/
Clever concept and very good execution. What was a little bit annoying was that on the itch.io page when I use the up/down cursor keys the surrounding itch-websites also scrolls, so your game scrolls out of the viewport. Don't know why this is happening.
Attention! This game is addictive. And sometimes it's crazy. Cool pixels too :)
I found myself wanting to come back to this game to break the endless mode in different ways, it's so satisfying! Really great job safe1.png

Yeah i'm addicted now
Wow I had way more fun with this than i was expecting. Is the number in the top right the framerate...Screenshot (72).png
Not entirely sure, but I wasn't able to stop playing this game. This is so addicting. Verry well made!
Loving this game! I genuinely wish it was mine, haha. Found a little cheat tho, when you get enemies to a corner, you can wait there and hope they push you, which gives a big money output. Awesome game!
One thing I noticed, is that it's cheaper to buy the most expensive upgrade, instead of buying cheapest first.
For example, you buy first upgrade for 10$, then next one for 20$, but you can just wait for 20$ and have the 10$ one included, could be intentional. Just seemed interesting :D
Love it. it's really satisfying to collect the coins and the visuals and audio match really well.
This was a super fun submission! The spritework is wonderful and pleasing with some nice sprinkles of sound. It's all just quite fun to play, good job with this one! And as others have said, a nice backing music track would make this all the better!
satisfying coin pickups.
A D D I C T I V E !
Very good game. The endless mode is really a wonderful idea. The different foes are great, i love the bombs ^^. The game is really enjoyable.
Such a great game, so much fun! I wouldn't have expected that purposefully damaging yourself would work so well as a core gameplay mechanic. Great polish for the compo timeline too. Just really excellent work on this, high marks all around!
In pure fun, I think this is probably the best I've played this LD. Super intuitve and satisfying, but I miss having more things to upgrade.
Nice! Very addictive game. I managed 9 mins. Definitely need to get some music in there to help add more ambience. maybe some obstacles to encourage players to use their newfound agility. Well done!
Such a great idea ! and well executed ! Too bad the arrows keeps making the web page going up and down when playing the html5 though :/
@kerdelos sorry! please use WASD
thanks for the nice comments everyone
It's a bit hard with an azerty keyboard though :p But don't worry i still had fun !
Took me 12m. I feel I'm doing something wrong. I had a lot of fun though! Congrats on the game. A lot of fun, addictive, beautiful and juicy!
Everything about this game is fabulous! If I could define this game in one word it would be: satisfying (as heck). 5/5, great job.
Very innovative, I really enjoyed this. Felt very different to a lot of games I've played so far.
my favorite game for the moment ! awesome !
Very fun game, good work!! :D
This is a really great upgrading game! I liked experimenting with the different enemy types and bumping into stuff to get coins felt good. Normally I get tired of these types of games if they go on too long, but I actually found myself wishing this one was longer when I finished!

Great game.
Love this. Perfectly scoped for a jam game. Amazing execution too.
Very unique and addicting. I love how you've made a game where getting damaged is directly fun and rewarding. Sound effects fit well with the cute art. Some sort of a waypoint to the enemy in case you get lost would be cool. Loved the "Attraction" upgrade: Very useful! Nice incremental gameplay with the money upgrades and all that. Can get a bit tricky to hit the enemy dude when you're at a much faster speed, but I guess that's the price you pay for chasing people lol. Guess I should pick on enemies my own size.
Love the nice variety of monsters and upgrades for those monsters, makes for a fun experience throughout the whole game.
I won!

Great game! This was super cute and fun to play. Great audio feedback and graphics. I love this twist on the theme!
So much fun great concept
Oh wow, I thought I'd had fun with this game after somehow spending 18 minutes clicking about and getting the cash out (unique concept, cute pixels, strangly addictive), but then I saw the screenshots people have posted above and... _boy_ have I been playing it wrong! New aim of the game: Allow no floor pixels to remain!!!
Really good entry. Nice work.
Oh man... 16 minutes on my second playthrough and probably only about half of the screen covered. Honestly, if you add a bunch of levels, more (unlockable?) enemies, and some utterly ridiculous achievements; you'll have people losing sleep, jobs, partners, houses... this is dangerous!
Love the graphics and specially how the theme is approached!!!
Relaxing chaos. I really like the distinct, but still repeatable clusters of 'plings' when you collect coins. Soothing.
omg. so fun....
Beat it! It gets pretty fun when you spawn a lot of enemies and see all the coins come out. Nice job!
Pretty unique game. Though I found the progress to be quite slow at the start. The html webplayer also frequently freezes when you're taking damage.
Who would've thought I'd be spending 10 minutes humping fires as a safe full of money... Only during Ludum Dare...
I had a great time playing that... something oddly therapeutic about constantly throwing myself into enemy fire. I suppose it's the opposite of most games :stuck_out_tongue: Graphics and audio were really adorable and the feedback from taking hits and picking up coins was awesome! Great job :grinning:
well that was very addictive :D
Hello! I also like to play online slots, they remind me of the wonderful past when I would go to real-world casinos. My favorite online casino is actually iphone casinos https://casinospot.ca/casinos-type/iphone-casinos/ as they have an impressive roulette wheel that you can play for real money. You should try it out if you want to win some money.
