fairly large amount of depth for a LD game. nice job. very funny as well
Good writing, but I would have loved a few more choices other then just which weapon to use.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
This whole game is a pun and I love it.
There is so much here for a jam game. Honestly, its incredible. I would love to see this as a full game. Some of the text was a bit hard to read for me, and while the UI is a but awkward, after a little bit you get used to it. Love the flavor text on the objects around the inn.
I got immediate hollow knight vibes going in. I got pretty pissed while playing, mainly because in order to wall jump you have to be running into the wall, so before you have the double jump it can get kind of frustrating. Although while saying that, I did complete it(dark dash was very hard to find), and I did have a lot of fun.
I'm all for vampire themed stealth games. Graphics, while simplistic, work perfectly for this style(I really liked the parallax background effects you did). Music also fit perfectly with the game. Loved the death sound effects as well.
The fire propagation effects and the graphics and polish are all there, just wish there was a bit more game.
Hey, when I ran tsc in the client folder it spit an error, that said the following:
> error TS2688: Cannot find type definition file for 'node'.
I sort of have no idea what i'm doing, so any idea what this means?
Was confused at first, but once it gets going its pretty fun. Wish there were more levels that expanded on the mechanic more.
Cant tell if I won or not, is the win screen the guy crying? Regardless, I thought the art for the human and the police was well done. I'm just not sure if i'm playing it right. Really all that it needs is some clarity and more levels and it could be quite fun. I've always had a soft spot for stealth games.
Umm... For some reason when I launch the game steam vr launches alongside it, but I was still able to play. It was quite the challenge with only one person but indeed possible. My high score is 12. Music was a perfect fit for the graphics. Very good mood. Very polished game that is easy to play but hard to master.
Game feels great with nice music. Great game to zone out on and see how far how can get.
The hypotheses were pretty funny. The quuckles are so outlandish that they allow for anything to sound plausible. They almost sound like articles from the onion.
Took me a while but I finally completed it. I did play both versions, but I completed it on the post jam version. I think there are too many red herrings. The extra circle and diamond combinations and the weird way the lights to the door are arranged, and the association between the green and red squares and the levers up and down state made me think that it was related to the colored block puzzle. I really liked the chess one where the words on the walls relate to the roles of the chess pieces. That was the hardest one for me, but still my favorite.
It can be hard making such an unconventional story work, but you made it work pretty well. Text scrolled just a bit too slow though. Ambient sounds were great and set the mood wonderfully. Towards the end where you have to choose the right person to eat you, right now you just tell them to save their money and they wont buy you, but having a character that is like, a raisin fanatic would be a nice change of pace. Personally, I've never had enough time to have a story on top of the game play, but Ill try it next time.

The game looks just amazing. The water and the way moon reflects off it looks cool, especially considering how pixelated it is.
Art was very nice, and the puzzles mixed two classic genres of puzzle games wonderfully, but I can't really see the theme.
The graphics and music were both great. It immediately caught my attention while I was scrolling through the games. I did find it a bit on the easier side. Buying the disguises was a nice addition, but the cost was a bit too steep for them to only be temporary upgrades. The police were also a little to easy to evade with the throwing food. Was still pretty fun though.
Really great game you got here. Graphics are simplistic, but the vfx make up for it. We both went the route of upgrades costing health, but our games are so different. Game feels nice, but some of the effects are a little to heavy. An all round great entry.
Had no idea about the upgrades, was spam clicking and ran into it by accident. I wish the upgrades could stack as others had mentioned. Also the death mower should be more expensive as it is a bit over powered as it is now. An upgrade to increase spawn rate would be nice. Maybe even just going full idle game and adding like automatic soul harvesters.
Nice idea, but the main problem the the random drop rate of the health. Even if the player is perfect, the run will always end with an unlucky streak of no health drops. Also some more area to walk around and train them would be nice.
Pleasantly surprised with this one. The text delivered as you travel through the cave is delivered vague enough to be open ended, while still being intriguing. Wish the grappling hook had a longer range and that more arrows were given out. Felt very atmospheric with the music and mysterious story.
