@lauramei Oh thank you and sorry! It should work now. I completely forgot to toggle the draft -> public checkbox.
Nice graphics and music. i like the concept but i don't get why sometimes red balls touches my tower, and the perspective is cool but i can't see behind the tower. Btw Good job on making this little game !
@monogatari thanks for playing! Currently, The Horde (aka exploding red balls) only target the Core (aka the main tower thingy). We had a lot more planned but that will have to wait for a post-LD version.
Nice music
Well done! I liked the music quite a lot! I think it took me a bit to realize what all the different mechanics and different pieces of UI are for. What techniques did you use for the 3D sprite grid? I'd be interested to try it out for myself sometime.
The music is great, and cute art! Trying to work out what all the different numbers meant and how things affect each other definitely took a while, I eventually had to come back to the game page and read the description to figure out what was going on. A little bit of in-game tutorialization would go a long way, but this is a nice project regardless :)
@taqoshaq Thanks!
From the art point, I've been using Aseprite to make all the assets, learning to work with isometric shapes as I figured what assets we'd want. That also kinda determined our general art direction this time.
On the programming side we've been using Unity's built-in Isometric Tilemap system.
@graebor Thank you!
Sadly, we didn't manage our time very well, so that's one of the things we had to leave out in priority of making the core gameplay. Lesson learned though, hopefully!
Quite fun, and the graphic are incredible. I love the tower animations! The perspective of the game makes it harder to place towers at the back. I also found the game to be a little easy which made me lose interest after 5 mins or so. Also there was a wave where my towers didn't shoot, not sure what happened there. Well done!
The mood is really amazing, i loved the graphics, the feedback, and the whole atmosphere. I love to see my city spreading and killing more and more things : D
I also liked the infinite dezoom, which permit you to appreciate the combat in larger scales : 3
Great job, could definitely become a full game, with a complete upgrade system, and some more ennemies. The base-building mechanic is quite novative too : )
@artofsavannah Thanks! We didn't allocate enough time to balancing but at this rate we will post a post-LD version pretty soon (hopefully)! As of the towers not shooting, did you have some Warriors allocated?
@hpmnk Glad you liked it!
The fight music is a real bop! Cool setup, the content that's there definitely is polished. I think you already know that it could use some more content and variation, but like you've said--you now have a great foundation to expand upon.
Great job! I really enjoyed it, the waves felt super satisfying probably because everything seemed to fit so well together.
I had to guess some instructions like assigning scientist and warriors and I was sad I couldn't do much with the area behind the tower but those points seemed to have been mentioned already.
That battle music and the explosion animation are really slick!
Thank you for submitting your game to be played on my stream!
Once the stream is finished you can find the video here: https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos If you want to know when it was played you can find your game in the queue here: https://tinyurl.com/y5rdokvp
Great graphics, but the game is a bit too on the easy side for me~ The cost for Houses and Labs became higher than the maximum capacity of my currency, so there was no more way to build any anymore. And towers gave me many more warriors, making them higher than the maximum value I can own. The music was good too!

As the previous one said, its unbalanced and the player get stuck on expanding at one point. Sound and graphics are very good, but its hard to place something behind an object. I like the core gameplay.
Nice entry. I like the isometric perspective, but how can I put an object behind the tower? The main mechanic works well as expected and the music track adds a frenetical mood. You did a solid entry which fits the theme. Well done ++
Great game, played it quite a bit longer than I expected to. Would be nice to be able to move the camera a little or rotate the view though so you can see and place things behind the tower and the UI.
Very cute and calm tower defense. I don't know if you were aiming at this, but it turned out as quite easy to play. Some kind of challenge would be nice, but I guess there was no time during jam to tweak this kind of stuff :)
Great entry mate, prototype looks cool and works fine. Maybe you could balance the dificulty and implement some late game. A detailed description of each function in game would be wellcome too :p. Well job!
