Hats On! by recursor 2017-12-11T05:24:57Z

Very fun game! I loved the audio, it's fits with the game perfectly. The game itself gets rather challenging too. I was trying to stack thing in a correct way in the 100 hat challenge but gave up when I saw clogging the fall worked better for me.

Super Team by Togimaro 2017-12-11T03:55:41Z

One of my favorite games I've played in the jam so far! The level design and mechanics used for each characters are great. I loved the humor and both the visuals and audio. I was seriously expecting an turned base RPG from the image and got this amazing little puzzle game. I honestly wish there was more, great job guys!

Mountain Diver by Ithildin 2017-12-06T03:56:10Z

I wasn't sure how the first jump was possible at first but then I realized I could jump and boost after jumping. And then I realized after re-reading the description that I was being too greedy while picking up crystal when skydiving haha. Good job!

Ignorance is Bliss by Aurel300 2017-12-28T01:41:13Z

Ah damn, I wish I had gotten to this one earlier to have the time to play through more of it. It looks great and I love the music. I did find the text a bit small and slow though. But in any case, your game has an amazing amount of content for the time given! Great entry!

Cracks by YouBeStrong 2017-12-06T04:49:54Z

Hey Avon! I added a built on the games page where you should have the VSync option available!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! The tape, crack filler and plaster are actually all Unity's Trail Renderer component with different settings and materials. The one thing they have in common is the time which is set to Infinity so they'll never shorten. I spawn a new one and make it follow the tool until you let go of the button.

Cracks by YouBeStrong 2017-12-09T04:32:38Z

Thanks again everyone for the feedback! I'm really glad about the impression the ending has made.

@cameronjsamuels Thanks for letting me know! I wasn't too certain of what the extent were for bug fixing/changes. I'll see what I can do for the pixelated graphics post-jam, I did imagine some people would realize it's zoomed in when they saw them haha.

Cracks by YouBeStrong 2017-12-10T22:40:20Z

@saramartins Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it. You are pretty much on point about the connection with the theme. The more problems, issues or damage someone has, the worse it is. It sounds a bit too straight forward said like that, but that was the base idea for my game. :)

The tape and fixing liquid were both trail renderers that had their lifetime were set to Infinity so that they would never disappear. Also the end of the tape is square because by putting the amount of end cap vertices to 0.

Cracks by YouBeStrong 2017-12-24T02:34:40Z

Thanks everyone! I finally felt like I had enough time to go through some games and leave comments. And you are correct, there is a bug with the second glue part but it seemed minor and I didn't have enough time to change it before the submission. I'll be sure to fix it for the post-jam build which I'll be working on this week.

One thing I'm not too sure about anymore is if I should have opted-out of humor. I did include some jokes in the dialogues, since it was meant to have a more light hearted tone at the start, but I can totally understand the people who decided not to vote in that category.

Cracks by YouBeStrong 2017-12-24T04:47:18Z

@jjjjason Thank you for playing! You are right, though it's not meant for someone in particular, I did have a few people I know in my mind when making it. I'm happy if it can resonate with strangers facing the same emotions as well.

Oversize Load by quadtree 2017-12-23T22:32:14Z

Great work on your compo game! I'm pretty bad at it but I still love the physic and really wasn't expecting the extra cart haha. I liked the music, it was really soothing which was perfect to relax after seeing all cargo fall on the ground.

A Platformer for Ants by Elendow 2017-12-28T00:36:55Z

Very unique take on the theme! I had a lot of fun with it and trying to speed run it without going for any of the reset flags adds an extra layer of challenge! Also I quite liked the music but, this just a tiny thing, I did find the jumping sound a bit annoying.

Prinsen Gulden by King Kujito 2017-12-14T05:49:23Z

Good job on your compo entry, I especially liked the animation and music! The main thing I noticed that I would consider changing was when I was changing directions, it felt like it took a lot of time just going from left to right.

Samurai Shaver by DDRKirbyISQ 2017-12-24T01:46:56Z

Two amazing games wow.

I'm really bad at rhythm games but I still like them especially for their music and sometimes for their visual styles like Rhythm-Heaven. And you guys have both of those down perfectly. I can't wait to see other games from your team! I'll go comment on Goodnight Sheep now!

International Gift Helper by Pete 2017-12-20T06:07:15Z

The Earth globe level selection was really neat! Like some people have said, some sound effect would make the gameplay even more satisfying. It can get hard to see and interact with the far away gifts on the harder stages, but I guess that works with the theme. Good job on your entry!

Trial of the Reaper by Cliff Lee CL 2017-12-06T05:26:47Z

Nice work! I had a few issues with the camera moving abruptly when moving around especially near the bottom of the map. I didn't notice the side-effects of love and mercy that much in my playthroughs but I had fun!

Tentagraba by Huitre 2017-12-07T02:17:18Z

I loved it! Once I wasn't able to complete any more rounds due to excessive tentacles I had fun spamming my keyboard as a final attempt. The suction cup sound effect made that attempt even better. Congrats on a great compo entry!!

Save the Plants by joski 2017-12-14T05:50:21Z

Wow this gets incredibly hard as more plants appear. It fits the theme perfectly. I love how the controls are intuitive and yet not really. It looks superb and I loved the audio. The only thing I had an issue with was when my hand collided into something and the "*stretching*" sound kept playing even if my movement was blocked. Amazing job!

Critter Sitter by dvdfu 2017-12-07T06:32:41Z

Great work! This is so cute!! I love the graphics and sound effects of the different critters. It gets pretty challenging trying to manage all of them. I really liked being able to spawn more critters if you want with the small coop. Even though most the time I ended up regretting my decision to spawn more haha.

Make It To The End by Repusv 2017-12-07T04:21:20Z

I managed to finish it on easy mode and really enjoyed going as fast as I could in it! I found myself colliding too often with the ground itself in vanilla mode. Maybe having the ground be more forgiving than the cliffs and other racers would make things more balanced in all difficulties. In any case, nice work! I'd love to try it out again when you update it.

Dungeon Dealer by ponywolf 2017-12-24T04:06:27Z

Nice concept! I liked how there are good strategies to it even if the mechanic is so simple. The visuals fitted quite nicely too!

There are two things I can think of that didn't feel quite right to me though. First, it was a bit frustrating to get stuck with a useless card at the start of a series, like a potion when at full health. Having a setup phase for that could be nice? But at the same time I liked how fast paced it was so maybe that be a bad thing? The second thing was that the RNG really stomped on my enthusiasm when getting to the last monster with full health and just losing completely at random, though I don't have an idea how that could be balance easily though, so I understand it's like that for the jam.

CalligraTree by Roaring Cat Games 2017-12-28T01:50:26Z

Simple and beautiful game. I do agree that it would be nice for it to be slower since it feels like a very relaxing game.

Get Rid of It! by multiplexor 2017-12-28T02:21:19Z

I like the concept but I agree with the comment that there wasn't enough stuff falling to make it challenging. I was able to spam the cutting on a single item quite a bit too since I didn't have to be preoccupied by other things falling. In any case, good work on your compo entry!

Sheperdy! by loveapplegames 2017-12-28T02:36:47Z

Good job on a fun and cute game! I love the look of the tiny pixel flock of sheep running around.

I did feel like I had more fun in the levels without water just trying to go through a maze of fences. The water and wolves were a bit too frustrating for me haha. I loved pressing the mouse to bark but that sometimes conflicted with the UI for me.

Potion Commotion by boaheck-artgent 2017-12-16T22:54:48Z

Great entry! The story made me smile and the art style is lovely and cute! I played the most recent version and I found the controls quite smooth actually. The main issue I found with the platforming was that quite often I thought I was going to be able to jump at the edge of something but instead fell as I was already off the object. That felt a bit unfair. At first I thought I was doing it wrong but when it kept happening, it felt more like something was a bit off.

Santa's Factory by SaraMartins 2017-12-10T22:05:41Z

Great entry! It's very much in the season, the graphics and music are really cute! I like how the throwing was a lot less simple that I initial thought. I would have probably inverted my y-axis had I had the option to do so though, I'm sure I still would have missed as many in any case haha.

I think it would be cool to have the possibility to set the speed at which gifts are sent in game. Like a speed button on the machine. Players that think they could handle more gifts quickly could give themselves a challenge, or lose to stress, heh.

Drunk Santa by UrsiGames 2017-12-14T23:44:11Z

I loved the visuals and the increasing drunken effects. The smooth control on the flying is a lot more pleasant than the usual tapping you find in similar games. Yet it still gets harder as you get more drunk. Good job guys! Cheers!

Risky Robbery by Markus 2017-12-10T00:18:02Z

Good job on the entry! The camera movements are quite nice like other people have stated already. I didn't find much use for the camera rooms for how far I got though.

Sorted by Ryan Temple 2017-12-14T06:02:53Z

Simple and fun game! At first I thought it was a bit slow, even if I knew it would get harder as time went by. And when that time came I simply couldn't manage all those boxes. The best feeling I had when playing this was when I was trying to not lose my first box. Good job on your compo entry! :)

Chuckles, the Word Juggler by SecretPocketCat 2017-12-24T05:29:18Z

I replayed it a few times after seeing the posted scores... I don't think I can get over 100 honestly haha. I do enjoy typing games but they do make me wish I was better at it. Great job on a fun, challenging and practical game! Now I'll go give a few more tries.

Smooth Lines by yojammerjammer 2017-12-23T19:21:24Z

Wow! This felt very complete. Great job on having so much writing and possibilities in your game! I loved the humor and the message that came with it. I played it a few times and still certain I missed a few possible dialogues or events.

The only thing that really stuck out to me was how the dialogue choices covered the girls. It would be nice to get the dialogue choices at the bottom so we can still see them, even if you had to make the text for the choices smaller.

Ghosth - Annoying Ghosts by Crowno 2017-12-09T18:27:49Z

This is my favorite entry I've rated so far! It looks amazing and the mechanics are really fun. And I love the ghosts appearing on the side of your screen.

I see it has already been mentioned but I also had some issues losing ghosts on the stairs and the collisions of the chained balls that seemed slightly bigger than I expected.

Hyper diapers by Gaziter 2017-12-24T23:10:25Z

Great idea! I managed to get a bunch of babies stuck in the right room top shelf so I was able to managed not too badly for a while but once I mistakenly moved the pot that stopped them from falling down and going in the rest of the open house it was over, haha! Great job on the cute and funny game!

Desert Express by TerraPass 2017-12-25T01:03:19Z

Ohhh! Nice work on submitting a game with a custom engine! Very cool!

I had quite a bit of fun with it! I actually enjoy being able to spam the mouse button. Using one hand to click and the other to aim help a lot in the tight spots. The progression being random did seem weird like some people have already said. And the rest of my other suggestions seem to have been said too... like a better visuals for the projectile and also a wider range of weapons. Again, nice work!!

Bounce House by Steven Adams 2017-12-06T06:00:21Z

Really fun and super satisfying! I loved it! I think you might still be taking damage when you manage to hit their charge attack though?

too much asteroid! by Digitalfudge 2017-12-11T01:02:22Z

Good job on your compo entry! :) I liked the graphic style and the gameplay was fun. I did find it strange that I could run out of bullets completely. Perhaps have a slow fire mode when you run out of ammo so you can still try to destroy asteroids to get more ammo. Also, having the ammo next to the cross-air made it hard to see how much I had left while trying to dodge the enemies.

Gina's Bed & Breakfast by CameronJSamuels 2017-12-09T05:22:48Z

I love this type of humour! The burger a mile in the other direction? What's Gina's burger doing a mile away from her kitchen in the first place, haha. Great work on your compo entry!

I didn't mind it not having any music, I think it works quite well without any. I do however think it could benefit from some sound fx for the dialogue and the characters actions. Btw, since I'm not sure if it's on purpose, I did manage to go on the table without eating the burger and have Gina move to the side. I was then able to exit the B&B. That saved me from one disgusting burger at least!

Goblins 2 Go by SFBTom 2017-12-05T19:15:43Z

Ahaha, I'm so bad at this but I love it! It looks great and horrified buyers expression is hilarious.

Junk by jjjjason 2017-12-23T23:33:50Z

Very nice! I loved how the twist is revealed at the start, especially since most people probably entered their LD username, and that you included a small narrative aspect to the mechanic. I'd be repeating what other people have already mentioned as far as suggestions go so again great job!

Dense Revolve by fiaKaiera 2017-12-14T05:22:44Z

Very cool ideas! Great job in a such a short amount of time. I had a really hard time at first but understood much better once I read the list of mechanics related to the amount of bullets I had. It's too bad you didn't have more time to include a tutorial. I could totally see those mechanics used in other ways outside a boss fight setting.

Shooting Shadows by Sanvar 2017-12-16T03:27:43Z

Hey! I was going to review this on my lunch break but there was only a windows build haha.

But I've played it now and had a lot of fun! It's a simple concept but it's very well executed. I loved seeing the placement of the 20 souls chest, I knew it was going to take me a few tries when I saw it. My favorite part was clearly how the player ghost looks. I'm not too sure what else to add, I guess I would have been interested to see more levels, maybe some with multiple chests with separate amount of souls needed. Great job!

Also, you have my favorite soundtrack from this jam so far.

Slimefestation by Keppu 2017-12-07T02:35:11Z

Nice work! I almost got to 10000 points. I have to say, I did try to merge the slimes a few times at the start even though I clearly remembered that no where did it say that could be done haha.

Goodnight Sheep by littlecloudflower 2017-12-24T02:02:57Z

This is very much my type of game and it's the one that reminded me the most of my entry.

It's a beautiful cute little game with a heart warming narrative. The change in music as the mood in the dialogue changes is perfect, it made me wish I had the means to the same in my narrative game. You've made two really polished games for the jam with amazing music, visuals, gameplay and narrative so, I know I'm repeating myself but, I'm looking forward to more games from you guys.

Scrooge the Cat by clayzulah 2017-12-21T19:08:24Z

Excellent work on your game!! I loved the visuals and audios! It's a really cute and fun game! I only played the original jam build but I'll definitely check out the final build later tonight. At first I didn't notice there was a third step to the other cats wealth, or that I had to spend all my coins, and that made the level a lot harder than I initially made it out to be.

Running With Scissors by Daze 2017-12-28T02:11:46Z

25 kids running with scissors clearly is worse than 9. I think the funnest part is telling yourself "why the hell did I move there with the previous kid?" as your current kid gets impaled with scissors going at running velocity. Great work guys!

Where ma Friends at?! by Sabuzri 2017-12-27T23:43:57Z

Very nice idea! I found the music to be very fitting. At first I thought the only thing to avoid was to not fall but then I got stuck in a triangular hand holding and couldn't get the last guy. Great work!

Inconsequential detail: the quit button didn't seem to work for me.

LD40 - SirPumpy by SirPumpy 2017-12-27T04:41:33Z

Damn I love the style. I can imagine it's best for me to play the Compo version before the Jam. It's too bad you didn't get the multiplier into this one though since it those seem to be the main element linked to the theme. In itself it's still a gorgeous and fun entry for the compo and the music is great.

Though maybe making the music loop instead for this version would have made it better for when I died constantly when I started playing. In any case, I'm off to check out the Jam version!

Loot Grabber by AndreB 2017-12-15T19:22:50Z

Really fun gameplay! I have to say I didn't initially notice a significant change in level difficulty as I was picking up the loot and sometimes thought that more enemy were spawning because of the level timer. Also nice choice of music! Good job on your entry!

LootOnline by totsboy 2017-12-24T00:14:29Z

Extremely appropriate to the theme, and the recent events. I know the gameplay isn't meant to be fun but I found the criticism quite humorous and entertaining. Good job!

One thing I wasn't sure about were the daily and weekly buttons, it didn't feel like they did anything?

Neon Hell by SirPumpyJam 2017-12-27T05:11:02Z

Very nice upgrade from the compo version! Beautiful job on your entry!

The title screen really helps not pushing you in (the water) immediately. I actually like the controls, I find it adds a sort of difficulty though I'm having a pretty hard time already, but I enjoy the challenge. That multiplier clearly gets me killed faster now. But I think my favorite upgrade from the compo version is the addition of the small explosion from enemy deaths. That was a much needed visual feedback since I remember not being able to tell if one had died in the compo version. I wouldn't mind if those explosions were even a bit bigger or if they add additional tiny explosions as they fell or even have their smoke change to a darker color.

LD44 — Your life is currency

The Last Minutes by Togimaro 2019-05-01T05:09:47Z

A straight forward take on the theme but beautifully executed. I really enjoyed it.

The basement made me laugh, I was really expecting something linked to the story told but even if was more of an Easter egg it fit the mood perfectly.

Great job on your entry you two!

Bloodmoon Season by gogo199432 2019-05-03T05:25:03Z

Great work on the environment! I was sure I was going to get spooked when looking around for that first werewolf. The top 3 things I would consider adding, some of which have already been said in other comments: - A sanctuary / safe zone when buying stuff. - Atmospheric sound or music. - The werewolves should try to hunt you down more aggressively. I felt they only attacked me at the shop haha. When I was actually in the town it took me a bit to actually find them.

Hammed Robbery by YouBeStrong 2019-05-01T04:50:01Z

Thanks everyone! We sorta had a mix of Banjo-Kazooie & Toy Story in mind for the look and mood so I'm really happy to hear that!

@jake-white I actually thought about how it would have fit the LD40 theme when we started making it! Since it's the only other Ludum Dare jam I managed to finish haha. Nice work on LD40 btw! I just tried it out and it was fun! Definitely a fun mechanic ;)

Hammed Robbery by YouBeStrong 2019-05-03T05:32:44Z

Thanks everyone! We're really glad to hear everyone is enjoying our entry! I personally love the fact that some of you we're surprised when you started getting chased by the hammers.

@dennis-jeong There could definitely have been a level that used the space bar power more. Essentially it reduces the radius of the sound you generate (it doesn't eliminate it completely) at the cost of depleting (digesting) your coin amount faster. As for the trade off, that was greed / high score related. We wanted to let the player go through the level easily if they wanted to or a LOT harder if they wanted to get a good score. Thanks again for playing! :)

Capsule Collector by uvwar 2019-05-03T18:31:20Z

HAHAHA! I LOVE IT! This has got to be my favorite literal take on the theme but at the same time the most innovative. Great entry!

Doki Doki Boom Chaotic by fullmontis 2019-05-01T17:19:03Z

I liked the controls, flying around with the backfire is really satisfying! I would have liked to be able to use my mouse or gamepad stick to aim though. I felt this made it a bit hard to target the enemy since they we're to small to hit when aiming directly horizontally.

Paristroyer by Cameron Taylor 2019-05-03T18:27:23Z

I loved the graphics, there's a ready good mood going on with the art and music.

The controls we're not exactly what I expected, I wish I could have shot in the direction my mouse was aiming. Also, sometimes I couldn't find the last enemy of a wave for quite a while. Maybe if you made them spawn at the same level as the player when there are just a few left that would make things less frustrating?

Good job on your entry! :)

Grim Adventures by ursagames 2019-05-03T04:04:29Z

Ooohhhhhh the platforming was tight! The music and the flat surface lighting on the environment gave it a strangely gloomy serene mood!

The ethereal manifestation surprised me, I had only bought the dash, double jump and anti-soul drain, but I managed (barely).

I was unsure if I would have liked being able to move my camera, since I felt like you designed the platforming well enough to not need it.

Great entry Ursa! (Also I was totally checking your stream while playing your game haha.)

Coin-Op Kid by Strega 2019-05-02T18:18:43Z

Omg I think this is one of my favorite entry so far! It's super fun and I love the level designs using the mechanic! The one where you push the coin even further using more coins surprised me and I felt like there was so much potential for additional levels.

Amazing entry!

Pucamuc by Mors 2019-04-30T18:24:45Z

This is so frustratingly fun!! I did not manage to finish it, yet. I'll definitely try again later though. Everything fits together so perfectly, the theme, the music, the humor and the typos. This really has an excellent mood! Great job!!

Protocol: R.W.S. by Derek Volker 2019-05-03T03:02:10Z

I really enjoyed the music, the visuals and the game is fun. I do have a few gripes all surrounding about movement.

The first thing I noticed was the lack of momentum when I jumped. This can definitely be seen as a personal preference but in a runner game, I feel like that speed momentum would really add something to the jump (and dashes).

This brings me to my second point, I sort of felt like the character shouldn't be able to stay put? Everything is moving, the foreground, the background, even the music feels very active. I'd love to see the difference a constantly moving character would make.

The last point I noticed was that the parallax was a bit jarring. Usually objects further back move slower than things closer to the camera. But this again is just a preference, and especially considering the setting, I can see it working.

Great work on your entry you two!

Planting with Pain Donkeys Adventure by Biebras 2019-05-03T00:32:21Z

Good job on your entry, it's pretty fun! It did take me a while to understand how to plant the seeds though. I agree with what saering wrote but I have a few extra points that I think would make for a more enjoyable experience:

- You should be able to plant seeds and water them afterwards. This is also an easy solution to make it more intuitive since the player could either water or plant the seed on a tile.

- This point is more of an opinion. I find that the plants dry out too fast and die. Between shooting zombies, trying to water the soil and plant more seeds, I felt like I didn't really have time to take care of the old seeds. Since you're already being chased by zombies, maybe a progression system where you have to wait for the plant to grow before watering it again would be better. If you still want the plants to have a chance to die, maybe if they get trampled by zombies that could kill them?

I hope that's helpful! :)

Soul Exchange by Dennis Jeong 2019-05-03T17:48:08Z

Great entry! Fun game, good work on the game design! I was excited to see what I would get at the second soul exchange and a bit disappointed when it was already over. What was the next animal you had planned?

Yodin Defense by Neon Glass 2019-05-02T03:30:12Z

Great job! I really enjoyed it, the waves felt super satisfying probably because everything seemed to fit so well together.

I had to guess some instructions like assigning scientist and warriors and I was sad I couldn't do much with the area behind the tower but those points seemed to have been mentioned already.

Mahou Shoujo Monster: Promised Fate by jadedResearcher 2019-05-01T18:01:39Z

I loved the monster designs! The change in music and the increasingly bloody scenery changes the mood so well. Great job!

Wild West Devil Pact by Skyball 2019-05-03T03:22:50Z

I didn't expect the bouncing bullet mechanic and puzzles, I didn't expect the giant bullets and I ESPECIALLY didn't expect the countdown sun! A very direct but well executed interpretation of the theme. I liked the fact that you also included some narrative into it (I'm a sucker for spaghetti westerns tbh.)

Great work on your first game jam!! :)

Biomass by Jobus 2019-05-01T17:41:11Z

This looks great! It's strangely relaxing despite the monstrous look of the creatures.

The only thing I wasn't too sure about is that I didn't really have a use for the fire button? Maybe eating is just that more efficient of a weapon.

Limited Blood Works by thernz 2019-05-01T04:35:04Z

I am digging the art style! I also thought the difficulty was easy in the first wave and got my butt kicked quickly afterwards haha. Even if I'd love to see more upgrades available, I felt like this was really well thought out since it was essentially balancing one currency/ammo.

Great job to all off you!!

Also that small laugh in the How To Play is adorable.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Keep It Undead by pcmaster 2020-04-27T16:48:49Z

Very topical and very nice execution overall!

I do agree with a lot of what people have already mentioned so far. I felt like I didn't know what I was suppose to do in the first level. I actually think the level with enclosures next to each other would have been a better introduction level. Also I felt like the walking speed of the units slowed down when they were next to fences, possibly trying to walk diagonally?

But all in all, great job on your entry!

Escape of Saunangeon by YouBeStrong 2020-04-23T17:25:43Z

Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback so far! I definitely overe-steam-ated the difficulty level. That was not my intention. Being the only one play testing the maze during the jam likely led to that. I'll see what I can do to alleviate this in the post-jam release!

@massealex I may have forgotten to place one... Will have to fix that and consider it a major bug fix.

@schmavery Ohhh that's a great idea! Even if they served only as decorations, unique looking landmarks would be a tremendous help in this otherwise very uniform looking sauna.

@mightycode @yinian Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear you liked the combination of 2D and 3D! It's one of my favorite style for games!

It Rains Swords by fullmontis 2020-04-22T18:47:02Z

Quite a somber take on the theme, I like it! I don't have a controller on hand at the moment but I do want to try it again with a controller. I do still like it though, it's quite challenging without a controller. The hitbox for the flower does seem a bit unforgiving though, especially at the top. There were times I thought I had swatted the sword away just in time but still lost a petal.

Madagascar Simulator 2020 by Echo Team 2020-04-23T15:17:55Z

Very topical and made me realize why the theme was chosen in the end. I totally was not thinking of COVID-19 when I was voting personally. I would say it starts off a bit slow, I restarted multiple times thinking it hadn't started. The gameplay does become a bit tedious after a while though. It would be interesting to have a "SHUT. DOWN. EVERYTHING." button or Shutdown All Port and Shutdown All Airports. Definitely not that broken if you take in some ideas others have mentioned to balance out the access to such options.

Good work on your entry!

What the Firetruck!? by dvdfu 2020-04-23T08:00:37Z

Great game! It's cute, it's fun and the ensuing chaos is hilarious.

The beginning seems a bit slow, unless you force cars to crash into buildings. But I can imagine it being hard to balance seeing how quickly it becomes chaotic in the later half of the time.

Reaching some of the survivors is also quite hard when they're between buildings that are close to each other. It could be nice to have them head towards the firetruck if you're close enough.

Also, I loved the main menu mixed in as a short tutorial, it's perfect!

Untitled Plant Game by ponywolf 2020-04-23T08:32:07Z

Hahaha! I did NOT expect it to go there. That was a really great little game! Great entry! :)

I didn't notice any particular use for the health bar during my play through. I think the only thing that I wish there would have been more of would have been extra NPC interaction. Or reactions to the plant growing.

Death Trap II: Revenge of the Walls by schmavery 2020-04-23T16:08:14Z

Loved it! That was some really great puzzle designs! I was stuck on Zig Zag for the longest time. Thank god for the relaxing music. Now I'm really sad there isn't a Death Trap 1 lol.

Great job everyone!!

Volley Gosh by verbvirus 2020-04-28T12:57:38Z

Great job on your entry!! I love the look! It has a great enthusiastic mood. The crab bar used to display warnings and instructions is sooooooo cute!!!

Like most people have already said, it was a bit hard to get a handle on when and how to hit the ball. That and not having a faster restart button.

tyle by jordantanner 2020-04-23T09:02:40Z

Nice entry, good job! It's very visually appealing and though I'm not sure I'd call it relaxing haha. At the very least the music is though! It's definitely fun though!

My only gripe with the game is the cursor spin. Like other's have mentioned, I feel like I'm pressing exactly when it's fully white but it's registered as a miss. Now I get that my motion to click was probably not instantaneous, but I think such games tend to have a window of forgiveness during the "perfect rhythm" moment. Especially if you'd like it to be more relax than frustrating. It was sort of a double feel bad as I felt like I did press at the right time AND in addition I couldn't press again for the new cycle and initially didn't realize why.

Defend Pangolin Eggs by MightyCode 2020-04-22T18:36:08Z

I hadn't played a TD in while so I thoroughly misplaced my towers on my first try haha. As mentioned, I think the longer comment gives a good and extensive on how I felt about certain aspects of the game. Still, I had fun with it! Good job on your submission!

My inners are ours by AguaHervida 2020-04-27T17:11:18Z

Very stylish and definitely expandable. I'd love to see it with added sound effects and music!

Some checkpoints would have been nice though.

KungFu Grandpa by YiNian 2020-04-23T17:14:02Z

I was laughing already just at the title.

I enjoyed it quite a bit! The music was quite fitting, I wish the experience gained was a bit faster, especially if you manage to dodge the bricks for a long amount of time. It be interesting to see different trainings for different skills! I think you could get away less skill variety in that case.

Great job on your entry! :)

Milk Dungeon by Kyle Bowman 2020-04-27T17:04:27Z

Good job on your entry! Haha I did like the voice acting, even if you opted out of the audio it's good for humor!

I wasn't to sure why the health bar started to go down though, I had to cheat to get the good ending.

Primed by gimblll 2020-04-22T18:15:51Z

Nice short game! I wished it was a bit longer seeing how everything overall is so nice! It could definitely keep it's charm and style with more short endings like you currently have.

The sound effect of killing the dobo did hurt my ears a bit.

S for Squad by Asue 2020-04-23T16:57:57Z

Awww it's too bad the next level wasn't ready general!

Solid entry. Great work to everyone! It looks and sounds great. Though the mechanics do need a bit of work to make them smoother or more streamlined, like others have mentioned too, I really like how innovative it was. Maybe having the option to set a default action after your movement could be an interesting way to smooth things out?

En tout cas, félicitation pour votre game jam!

Eat preys, love by anoushcat 2020-04-22T18:06:48Z

Very cute game Alex! Diving with the peregrine falcon on unsuspecting pigeons was very satisfying. I didn't find the snail either. :(

Great work to both of you! Thank you very much for the extra falcts!

LD46 - Keep It Alive - ArkaNOT by Necrofear 2020-04-27T16:32:01Z

Congratulations on your first game jam and game for that matter! A classic that fits the theme perfectly!

Game jams are a great way to learn and try out new tools so best of luck in your future jams too! :)

Protect the jar by Luc Arnould 2020-04-27T17:29:31Z

Good job on your entry! The concept and simple, fun and it looks nice! It is as other people have said, quite challenging.

I do have a few suggestions that I hope are helpful: - When you block an object at the moment it looks like the velocity just drops to 0. I think it would funner to have them bounce off rather than just stopping. It would make both the game play and visual feedback more entertaining. - Maybe take into account the velocity of the object that hits the jar to determine if it breaks? Right now any tiny tap from anything plays the cracked or broken sequence.

One Alive At A Time by MorandiGame 2020-04-23T16:21:21Z

I like the concept! The two main things I noticed are similar to what others have already commented on. Mainly the controls and the camera angles. I think it would be nice if the objects felt a less realistic. Like being able to jump higher with the table (with the downside of maybe tossing the other objects around too much) rather than having a hard time to move with it being blocked by all the other objects. Good job on your entry!
