Cool game especially since it's your first one! The music fit pretty well the game. I like how you reused the tail of the soul as a reward in the chest :slight_smile:
Opening the chests can be challenging especially since most of the time you finished a wave of ghost. I also was confused by the souls. At first first I thought it was a projectile the ghost were launching.

A good first game. I rather have interact on Right mouse button instead of E.
Nice little game. I think audio was the best part. Music was very fitting and SFX great.
Pretty cool ! Nice feeling, good music... I was confused at first with the souls (I thought that you had to avoid them), maybe they shouldn't rotate (like in some animes).
@5you Yeah heard that from a couple people. I'd think the same if I hadn't developed it ;)
My strat was, find the chest, get a vantage point near it and make a run for it. Got quite difficult still, awesome game :smiley:

Very addictif ! It's a simple game but it's very fun ! And good execution, graphics are cool :) Yes it's quite difficult but I enjoyed it ! :thumbsup:

It took me a bit to realize that the ghost souls were good and i was getting frustrated that I couldn't dodge them ,lol.
The game feel here is super good. I'd venture a guess that 1.) You watched and took advice from Vlambeer's 'The Art of Screenshake' video, or 2.) You have a natural talent for making a game feel good.
Either way, this one felt super polished, fair, and was fun to play. I wanted to beat level 3 since you said it was hard but alas I am out of time!
Incredible game!! Congratultions for the game, I relly enjoyed it. Its really fun to play and really hard a few seconds after you begin. The only thing I miss is a bit of feedback of what you have todoafter you open the first chest(only took me a few seconds but at first I was a bit lost).
But really, I really liked it, and special mention to sounds :smile:

Wicked sound effects, very cool game with a good use of the theme
This felt like a solid shooter overall, i like the fact that there's mouse aiming, the character felt a bit heavy movement wise but thats about the only negative thing i'd say.
The art is really cool and i like the angry expression on the gun weilding ghost :p the music is pretty neat as well it feels well made especially for something done during COMPO.
When there's something strange coming after your player character... who you're gonna call ? well maybe this guy :p

Awesome! The art and audio are really nice. The music fits very well with the gameplay.
The whole setting that a ghost shoots other ghosts makes no sense to me but the game is really well implemented and I had great experience playing it. Controls are very smooth. Nice visual&audio feedack to player's input. The BGM is simple but quite impressive. Well done!
I absolutely loved the sounds of the gun. This game was made very challenging by the fact that Ghosts could move through walls but I couldn't shoot through walls. Also, I couldn't succeed in grabbing the chest in the 3rd level because the ghosts spawned too close to me and I could never push them all away to open the chest.
This is a solid platformer that may need some difficulty tuning, but I didn't see much innovation, except for the extremely satisfying gun sound effect.
Hey! I was going to review this on my lunch break but there was only a windows build haha.
But I've played it now and had a lot of fun! It's a simple concept but it's very well executed. I loved seeing the placement of the 20 souls chest, I knew it was going to take me a few tries when I saw it. My favorite part was clearly how the player ghost looks. I'm not too sure what else to add, I guess I would have been interested to see more levels, maybe some with multiple chests with separate amount of souls needed. Great job!
Also, you have my favorite soundtrack from this jam so far.
Great game. It's simple but very fun to play. The gun is very satisfying to use. A little bit difficult at times, but nothing too bad. Congratulations on your first game!
