I finished it! I felt like a turtle however, going slow and steady haha.

I really like how the ship feels, this is probably my favourite game of this Ludum Dare. When you go fast, the sense of speed is really good. My only complaint is probably that even though I like how the ship moves, sometimes it's a bit TOO floaty (just a bit), and you die too easily, making it better to go slow. And that's not fun in a game like this where going fast is crazy fun.

Overall, very nice job!

I managed to finish it on easy mode and really enjoyed going as fast as I could in it! I found myself colliding too often with the ground itself in vanilla mode. Maybe having the ground be more forgiving than the cliffs and other racers would make things more balanced in all difficulties. In any case, nice work! I'd love to try it out again when you update it.

The graphics was really good, but the keyboard control was really bad. The lack of music and sound effect makes the game feels real empty.

the game looks professionally done, I really like the crash camera. the ship is fun to control

I'm totally in love with the floaty / bumpy physic. I think the modern wipeout versions totally failed to this, that's why I prefer Wipeout 1, 2097 and wip3out. Nice game, I hope you will push it further.

Nice work, I did something speed themed as well for this jam but you ended up with a lot more polish, only real complaint like someone else said is it feels too easy to hit the ground, and it's hard to avoid besides just driving really slow.

Great physics, but it's too easy to hit the ground

Looks impressive and was fun to play. I like the chaotic amount of racers and the amount of wipeouts. I wasn't too fond of the controls... the floatiness is cool but I wish the handling was tighter, more like the old star wars racer games. Sound would be cool to add eventually obviously. :)

p.s. You should hide the cursor. Clicking on the UI deselects the chosen UI button and doesn't click on the button. The only way to get out is to manually close the game and restart.
