Very pleasant simple game! The art is very "clean" if you know what I mean. Nice story that relates to the theme as well.

Went along with the theme pretty well, but at the end of the day it's just clicking three objects until one of them depletes. The art is ok.
First off when I was inputting my name I was only allowed 10 characters, so I had to go with ninjamuffi. This was very embarrassing and doesn't represent my brand, and I would like it fixed asap. /s
My first time playing, I picked the bird because I'm enjoy some good mischief and shenanigans. However the game ended up being more cooperative, and I assume with more players no matter what character you chose you can be mischievous either way, so picking the bird doesn't affect the gameplay too much, if it does at all. Would be cool to see the bird have some ability relating to screwing others over that they have to keep a secret, while the bears have abilities related to recovering from being screwed over (just some quickie ideas for examples). Right now it's basically "Hey you're a bird, feel free to be a troll" like it's just sorta a label the player has, that does nothing that really affects gameplay. I do remember you mentioning that once a bear finishes then they could turn into eyes that troll the birds, which would be a nice revenge if there was more of a battle between the birds and bears. Too bad I was a nice bird and helped you for the most part >:)
The controls feel nice and smooth, art is pretty good. But personally the music seems just a tad repetitive, but it was tolerable and it's just a little nitpick.
I would say that it would be nice to see who's online immediately, but when I played a few hours after I played with you it was a pleasant surprise when I stumbled across a rando waiting at the first shrine.
The network seems to run great, there was very little delay when I played with you (I live West NA). I do wish there was an integrated chat but hey this was still very impressive and cool!
@digitalfudge , oof yeah, I think I added it so that you can scroll with arrow keys, but the mouse wheel is a hassle on webpages
@lexi I decided to go with a vague, create, to let it relate to pretty much anyone who creates stuff online. I did have an idea of having little minigames like that too, but oopsies ran outta time heheh.
A strange nightmare of a game in the best way possible. Loved the atmosphere. At first the shooting felt a bit strange and slow to control, but eventually I got the hang of the curveball style shooting. Good stuff!
Pretty much Flappy bird as others have said in terms of gameplay, so nothing too revolutionary on that end. The game seems semi-polished, with the ball and walls having this nice little volumetric glow effect that works well with their flat 2D style, but then the apple has shading to it as if it's 3D and the laser's are seems outof place a bit as well.
@jofersgames if you press F12 you can open chrome dev tools and you can see the console and errors and whatnot. If you run into this again hook me up with those deets baby. OR sometimes the game has a sliiiight chance to freeze on the preloader. Either has something to do with browser caching or something like that on the backend
Also ayyy thanks to everyone droppin feedback *please* keep it coming!
Fantastic art style, like everyone else is saying. The controls felt a little clunky, partly because of the pathfinding or whatever so the boat didn't go exactly where I wanted to the best way it could've. At first I thought the game was a little simple and basic, but then I found the shops and thats when the theme clicked with me. Nothing crazy innovative with that, just taking the theme and using it as expected.
Because of the clunk-ish controls, the inclusion of autopilot and peaceful mode is great. Cool to just watch shit and feel like you're exploring
Overall game is pretty great. Lovely style and music. The meme bits got me chucklin at first. The game kinda whiplashes you into the I guess second part of the game. It's a bit jarring going from light hearted e-flirting with goth gf, sending memes and whatnot, to seeing that note on the door (and then the aftermath of that). But maybe that was intentional to get me more into the game. Make it feel REAL. Like stuff like this can really come out of nowhere if you don't pay attention.
I got the ending where she was in the bathroom, and the ending where they were hangin out on the bed or whatever. The endings had the same name so I can't tell if these were two separate endings, or just slight variations of the same ending.
Sometimes there were a few little bugs in the choices, where I chose something, and then it'd repeat dialogue and I was presented with the exact same set of choices. I thought I was gonna be in an endless loop but I got to a different path. It was one of the first few choices on the bed, some combination of them if you want to look into it. Speaking of choices, sometimes I would accidentally press choices as I was going through the story since they popped up immediately. Although that could come down to me being dumb and going too fast.
Theme was sorta fitting I suppose. At least fitting enough where its down to personal interpretation or whatever.
Has potential. The artwork, ambiance, and slight mystery is the strong points of this. Very well done job on those. It's a bit weak in the gameplay, theme, and doing anything particularly new or interesting. But with that being said, I still can't help but be intrigued by this small world. Expanded upon, I could see this as a puzzle/adventure game with a very interesting mysterious vague plot.
@arbe You're playing on Linux, I do plan on getting a native Linux version cooked up at some point, just need to get some stuff sorted out on my dinky laptop. At the very least would hopefully solve a few of ur performance issues with the game oopsies. Otherwise thanks for da feedback gangsta i appreciate u
Can't say it was all too fun, since it seemed kinda fetch quest-y and going through places that I've already been for the most part. However I will say this is an interesting game, where it feels like the characters are just accidentally scary and they're your pals and such. I really liked how there was goofy ass music immediately after a jumpscare haha. I think that part of the game works REALLY well. Main sprites look good, but I think the fog might be a little too much, and the textures were alright.
Woah this is actually pretty sweet! It's a smidge complicated at first, but it's super easy to get used to. The art style is super clean and colors work nicely (other than that pinky box at the bottom) Overall really well done!
