What a fun time this was! The WIP caught my attention and I immediately fell in love with the music and the characters. I'm kinda bad at these types of games, but I was able to beat the whole thing and enjoy both songs to the max!

You people are some of the most talented I've ever had the pleasure of seeing do their stuff! Huge praise to everyone involved! (But seriously, put bopping girl on speaker, maybe even as paid dlc? LMAO)
This game is THE BOMB!

how do i rate it?
this is fucking AWESOMEEE it plays so smoothly, it's so charming and ouugh so good man.
This game makes me jolly like a child on christmas eve. If that child also had a sick ass hip hop cd and some tight ass controls!
Very fun.The gameplay, the music, the artstyle... The Game has a lot of potential and i'd love to see more of it.

This is so cool! Amazing effort for a game jam. The graphics are phenomenal and the mechanics are tight. Well done!

i love it! I haven't played many rhythm games partially because its just so frustrating to see a bunch of notes while sightreading and not know what they're supposed to sound like, but the call-and-response here was perfect training wheels that made this so much fun! this game is like the suzuki method for rhythm games
Nicely done :grinning: It took me a while to figure out that I was only playing on the right side of the screen though!
Super cute. Impressed that the timing feels tight (have played several rhythm games in previous jams that failed to get that working well) . Visuals are funky and the music is just amazing.
Songs were great, animations were fun! It took me a bit to figure out I'm the guy on the right. Also, the difficulty spike between the first and second song is huge. I almost never play rhythm games so I could only manage the first song, still loved the game though.

Very fun game! Love the visuals and also good job with sounds and music! I don't usually play rhythm games, so the second song was too hard for me x) Overall, great job! Keep up the good work! :D
Great combo of art and music.

Lovely art and atmosphere, good work. :)
Impressive game, I'm terrible at rhythm games but enjoyed playing it. Great animations, good controls, really great work overall!
I loved it, the aesthetic and art is on point, controls are tight and it's just a blast to play. Like someone mentioned before, i died a few times before i figured out i'm the guy on the right (i thought i have to control both wasd and arrows), and the second song is a lot more dope than the first. Please make more!
Simply lovely :) Would like to play full version some day.
As others mentioned, I also died a couple of times thinking before I figure out I should just repeat after the guy on the left. I initially thought it's a game for 2 players.

I made an account just to rate this game and I have no idea how. So take this comment as my positive rating. Would def love a full version!
PRETTY DOPE ASS GAME MAN Couldn't complete the second song, the diffculty ramps up suddenly! But awesome all around! Music and graphics are extra cool.

ITS LIT! Seriously, pretty cool game. Took me a while to get the second song down, but I kept trying, cause it was fun and the beat was great too. It certainly got potential, interested to see where this goes. Oh and yeah, the whole package was great and highly polished, consider it liked!
This game is amazing. Really love the art style and music. This is the style of art I need for the commercial game I'm working on. Top marks

Simple and effective game. It looks amazing and it is really fun to play. And the music is perfect (but I have the song in my head now :D).
Just for other player that can't find out to play. At the beginning it took me a looong time to understand that: - I need to press enter to start the game. - I don't actually need to press the arrows for the guy at the left.
Good luck on making a longer version of that game.
Love the visuals and music, and how the camera moves from character to character. But as an experienced Stepmania player I have trouble with the second level, so I can't imagine how it must be for new players. It might be that I need to get used to the rhythm and speed, but I think it could use a bigger threshold. I still had fun though! Great job!
It was initially a bit hard to grasp how this actually worked - for some reason I never seemed to get the timing right. But that might just be me :D
All in all, a great game, incredibly polished!

Very good entry! At the begining I press the left guy keys and I always lose :(. I spent some tries into understand that I only controls the right boy. Graphics and animations are awesome, good job!
I fear I might have beep bod yar who stuck in my head for a while now. Great entry
THIS IS AWESOME! The music, the characters, the game style, It's all so fun and charming! I was never big on rhythm games but this game quickly got me hooked!
I feel like it can have an interesting story too, I hope a full version comes out someday!

The visuals are great, as expected of PhantomArcade (can't say I knew who evilsk8r was before this, but he also did a great job), and kawaisprite earned a solid 5 stars in the Audio category as well. The only real issues I had with this game were technical in nature(I should note I'm playing the web version, as I'm on linux): - inputs occasionally dropped(I might just be bad lol), seemingly along with frames - highly variable, but often abysmally long (re)load times, especially on the second level - occasional hangups that'd lead to the tab crashing, mostly during loading
Other than that, I'd like to point out the spike in difficulty between the first and second level is considerable; You don't even get time to parse what just happened before having to execute it yourself, which leads to a lot of failing, which leads to restarts, which leads to waiting for literal minutes and/or crashing. Which is quite unfortunate, since I really wanted to hear more of the songs.
Those are all obviously excusable, as this is still a gamejam game after all. Overall, I'd say y'all did a great job!
@arbe You're playing on Linux, I do plan on getting a native Linux version cooked up at some point, just need to get some stuff sorted out on my dinky laptop. At the very least would hopefully solve a few of ur performance issues with the game oopsies. Otherwise thanks for da feedback gangsta i appreciate u

i like the hold down key mechanics and the cam movements, very nice - congrats all!
Woah it's really cool to see a rhythm game implemented for Ludum Dare.
It was a good decision to have the dad play the song first, because that makes it easier for the player to get the beat without having to replay, which is good for a jam game. Although I will say that I found this entry via itch.io and that mechanic wasn't obvious to me at first, but it would have been if I saw this page first. I got it after failing the level once anyway.
I wasn't sure if it was me or not but sometimes it seemed like my inputs weren't registering, and it was weird seeing "bad combo" come up when there were still notes I needed to play on the screen.
I really liked the graphics and animation, and I liked the vocaloid-ish singing and music. Overall I'm just really impressed that you pulled-off this game for Ludum Dare. Great job!

Played trough it multiple times, just to master the hard pattern at the beginning of the second song :D Very well done, loved those quirky voices which harmonised well with key patterns, and it's hard to find a rythm game where the actions you make align with the music playing, loved it!

Wow, cool night game! But I prefer to relax with hot girls in the hotel room ;) For several last months, I have been using the Secret Desire service. You can check it https://secretdesire.co/illinois-chicago-bodyrubs. They all so hot and true professionals! Everyone can find masters of body rubs, massage therapists, or just hot chicks with melt touch and unbelievable energy. It's a really great platform that offers competitive pricing and excellent services.
@otis What the heck? Bro, you can't do that here.
Little did they know, this Ludum Dare game would turn into one of the games with the biggest modding community.
The game's graphics are still good today, thanks to their simplicity. [Geometry dash](https://geometry-dash.co) will gradually increase the difficulty level according to the levels. You have no control over the game's speed. To avoid obstacles, you can only control the direction. Jumping control can be used to avoid obstacles. To make it more interesting, each barrier has a different set of actions and levels of difficulty.

[Friday Night Funkin](https://fridaynightfunkin2.com/) game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.
The Friday Night Funkin (FNF) game is super enjoyable with the original characters, amazing music, cool graphics and animation. Needless to say, [Friday Night Funkin](https://fridaynightfunkin.lol) FNF is appreciated by the audience at the moment. Thanks to its uniqueness, this is currently one of the best and trending music rhythm games available. Amazing music and rhythm it's all about FNF. Very cool games that will help you have fun and relax.
