Love it!
The visuals and audio are fantastic and combine well; a great example of why the Mood category exists. Incredible for 72 hours by one person. The puzzles were OK, not much challenge to them. I think if they were larger and intersected through the level, it would make them more engaging. As is, the game was probably around the right length for the depth of gameplay.
Really love the mood, really pretty game too, pretty crazy you made this in just a few days. Great job!
The mood is set very well, but the gameplay, in my opinion, is lacking a bit.
Those graphics are fantastic, considering they were made in 72 hours. However, I'm not sure if I understood how you used the theme in this game.
As others have said this is a big mood game. It looks incredible and I love your ambient soundtrack.
Bravo! What an artpiece! I don't think I've played a game like this before. Truly captivating, great work :)
Wow, a solo effort! This is nearly perfect, the music and sound design is flawless and suits the slow movement and cryptic story. The gameplay and "puzzle" mechanic are a beautifully similar. The puzzle mechanic is not very interesting, but because it's like the macro movement and because it grows between the 3 levels is perfect to match the rest of the work. This was amazing!
Wow, great game, I mean - Great! Awesome visuals, atmosphere, something mysterious, provoking ending, Should be more puzzles - those were great
This is art. Period! The atmosphere is great, the sound, soundtrack and style of art all mix so very well. I guess I only wish the puzzles had been a bit more involved, which I'm sure would have gotten there with more time. Great game!
Astonishing visuals and soundscape, a very atmospheric game with a nice puzzling story. I like the game over screen, if you give your own soul, very well. The end screen after the third level is mysterious and I didn't understand it quite very well. I know that it shows the Fehu rune like the game is called - but is there more to it? Was a little bit disappointed by that end. Nevertheless the end screen also looked great.
Gameplay wise the game is rather simple, but that does not mean it's bad. I liked the puzzles, especially where you have to walk to finish them. More puzzles with increasing difficulty would've been great, but probably the deadline was suddenly there. :)
Awesome Entry, I really like the story driven aspect of it and also the puzzles, it's impressive that you managed to do it solo, congrats!
Fantastic visuals and atmosphere. This is a very artist game from the art to music to the puzzles. Great accomplishment for a solo game. Congrats!
Wow. One of my favourite games so far! I loved just everything. The graphics are effective without being over detailed. I loved the smoke effects. The moody sounds and music build a great atmosphere. I expecially loved the easy and intuitive interaction, the clear feedbacks and original concept and mechanics of puzzles. This could be developed in some great game with increasingly hard puzzles, and I hope you will do.
Seriously amazing game! Quite an accomplishment for a single dev entry. Very cool masked painted 2d texture art on 3d panels. Art, Audio, Visual storytelling are all top-notch. Took me a second to realize that I couldn't abandon "my" soul till the end, and I'm glad I didn't just assume it was really short (the game over screen was a bit cryptic, but once you get it you love it because of the mood it helps set). This game taught me well without hand-holding and I enjoyed the skill curve of the puzzles, would honestly love a full game of this atmosphere and style of puzzle. All the input was crisp and I had no issue experiencing any part of your game. Don't have any critiques besides maybe adding some animation to the player character. Overall just well done!
Excellent work! Beautiful visual style (the smoke/particle effects and fisheye effect really helped sell it!) and great music and audio cues.
The puzzles were relatively easy but still kind of clever and fun to work through, especially in the later sections when I had to combine the "overworld" navigation and the puzzle navigation.
I had a lot of fun with this. Great job!
A super dark and really well made puzzle game. Well done.
Amazing look and very moody sound. Captivating game, well done!
It is funny that LD43 was "Sacrifices must be made", as it seems that many people are interpreting this one's theme in a similar way, haha.
Hauntingly beautiful, and the ambient music accompanying is soulcrushing. You mentioned that you had used Audacity, does that mean you recorded all of the parts live and mixed them in Audacity? Super dope if so! Everything aesthetically ties extremely well together, making me feel in-world during the entire length of the game.
And I doubly agree that the puzzles where you had to carry the spirits through the overworld were my favorite, both from a puzzler standpoint as well as thematically (you are dragging your soul through the world).
@jjjjason Thanks! Yeah for the audio everything was just recorded using a Rock Band mic into Audacity and effects added there. Mostly just gratuitous amounts of reverb and Paulstretch  The main music is primarily made from drumming/tapping on the side of a guitalele.
Amazing Art and sound , Ambience!
Nice how the puzzle mechanic gradually explains it self. The mood it also worth mentioning, even though it was often hard to read along with the the story.
This was exquisite! I am an indie dev/writer, but first and foremost I work as an actor/voice actor, do voice direction and casting as well. If you're interested in having voice be a part of this project or future ones, please get in touch. You can listen to my demo reel here.
