Woofice Chair! by JorgeGameDev 2020-10-07T23:03:56Z
This is awesome, super funny concept and the art is fantastic! Gameplay was good however I did feel it took a bit to long to recharge your spin, but other that really good job, well done :thumbsup:

This is awesome, super funny concept and the art is fantastic! Gameplay was good however I did feel it took a bit to long to recharge your spin, but other that really good job, well done :thumbsup:
Lovely game with really nice music, the way certain areas loop back one way really screws with your mental image of the world and makes it far more challenging, great concept well done :thumbsup:
The art is great! This game reminds me of Night in the Woods, but a much more chill vibe.
The art was lovely and I enjoyed playing the instruments. The piano :musical_keyboard: and trumpet :trumpet: were the best by far, I could really play something good and the accompanying music worked super well! The accordion sounded out of tune on a couple notes, but perhaps thats hows it meant to be. A very different entry and quite an experience, well done :thumbsup: :musical_note:
Very chill game, loving the soundtrack, good job :thumbsup:
I was relieved to see the city design was fairly simple though its surprising how quickly you pick up where the streets are. Art was nice and gameplay straightforward, well done :thumbsup:
Great fun! Graphics are sleek and the gameplay super smooth, mouse movement was a bit much but you didn't really need it to play. Quite a unique concept, well done :thumbsup:
Nice use of the theme and I like the art style, however I found it a bit hard to hit the targets and felt the "normal" speed was too fast. Like others have said, with a bit of tuning this could be quite good!
The art style was vibrant and really matched the music, it was quite challenging and I feel the collision size of the gems/stars could have been bigger as its quite hard to line up with them exactly. Overall a nice game, well done :thumbsup:
Loving the CRT style with vector graphics, a bit sad other songs stopped working, would have been great to try them out! Also a slightly larger time window for hitting the buttons would benefit us amateurs.
Super nice graphics and slick gameplay! A great casual arcade game, well done :thumbsup:
Wonderful visuals and calming audio really create a relaxing atmosphere to explore the room in. I'd be keen to see a longer game with this style :slight_smile:
PS: What is the font you used?
Very interesting entry! A unique take on the brick break genre, I really liked the time mechanics (I could use that rewind in a lot games :sweat_smile:) and the art style. I found the collision with the ball to be a bit strange (you could sort of push it around) but otherwise the gameplay was good. Well done :thumbsup:
Cute game and idea, the art is really nice. Main feedback is that the direction rotated too quickly, I'd say about half the speed would make it much easier to control while not adding too much delay.
Absolutely hilarious! I was super surprised to hear voice acting and the song as well. Great concept and execution, well done :thumbsup:
Beautiful art and music! I really like the style :slight_smile: Gameplay was okay but it was a bit hard to tell what I could and couldn't collide with and controlling some of the objects with A/D when they weren't visible on the screen also made things difficult. Overall though you got a lot done in the time frame so well done :thumbsup:
Love the concept! (reminds me on Tenet) This has a lot of potential, well done!
Absolutely fantastic entry! Simple to play, beautiful art and hilarious sound effects, you have to turn this into a full featured title! Only thing missing is a good background track to go with it. Great job guys!
Boy does this bring back some memories! Great game and well done for coming up with a unique take on the theme.
Great concept and well executed, a very different take on the loop idea. Reminds me of the "learning to program" robot games.
I love it, the core gameplay was great fun and the special events (like the pink limo) made it even better! Also props to whoever did the vocal "sound effects" :joy: Well done!
Very nice art style and game concept was easy to play, could use some background music but overall quite good :thumbsup:
Super cool concept! The control was a little funny at first but good once you get used to it. I really like that when moving once planet's orbit it shows how all the others will be effected, I feel it would be super hard without that. I think you could take this a lot further, so well done!
Lovely art style and a cute concept! Feedback regarding gameplay, the gravity and acceleration need to be increased, the movement is a bit floaty and lacks that responsive feeling.
Quite a polished game, you had a huge team and it really shows. The art & sound were to a high standard and the gameplay felt solid and well made.
Far too realistic! :stuck_out_tongue: But seriously quite a nice game and the art is great. It'd be nice to have more freedom to try doing other things regardless of the order the tasks are given in.
Nice game! Controlling the ship was a bit difficult and it could use some indication of where to go, but otherwise quite good :)
Great platform shooter with polished art and gameplay, however I feel the use of the theme was a bit limited.
A funny game that is *slightly* infuriating. I can see a lot of effort went into it, especially the art, so well done!
Audio track is awesome~ really gets you into the game. Clean and smooth visuals as well, great job!
Great concept and really wished you'd had time to fully realise your idea!
Interesting combination of pixel art with more traditional 3D, I think adding some low res textures to the models would really help bring it together. Concept was great and scope was definitely a stretch given the timeframe, great game overall :thumbsup:
Awesome little game! Simple, polished and the graphics are super clean.
Fantastic work! A very unique concept and great gameplay! I love how the rope works, especially with the recoil effect. Hats off to getting so much done and so well.
Yeah! Love the intro and art style, this game gets intense! Would be perfect for mobile devices as I just can't get my mouse to move that fast! Great job :thumbsup:
Combat system is great, I think there would be some great potential with per character buffs, well done!
Cool concept and a little too close to home for some people :stuck_out_tongue: (especially the root:root login, that's ridiculously common). Good job with the art and gameplay, though I felt it could have been sped up a bit.
Awesome way to use your clones, you have to really think about how you're going to time things in the future or just make a absolute s*** tonne and hope for the best :joy:
Lovely game, good art and the character movement was really nice. I found it a bit too repetitive, perhaps some more tasks and larger station would make it more interesting, but overall quite good, well done :thumbsup:
Great game, super smooth movement and controls. I really like how the hook works, it would awesome to see other types of attacks with it. Art was also nice and combined with the soundtrack gave a really underground/labyrinth atmosphere to it. Well done :thumbsup:
Damn this was hard! I liked the grungy art style and animations and the movement was smooth, if only I didn't die so much... great job :thumbsup:
Needs a bit more instruction on how to play initially, but the concept is good and you've done well for your first game :slight_smile:
Super nice neon graphics and the walking animation is hilarious! Great work :thumbsup:
Fun, quick and neat idea! Would be great to have additional mechanics such as different colours or switches you have to activate etc.
Simple and fun game, though I feel it needed some more elements to it such as obstacles or water.
Cool game! I like the way you can jump between turrets and that they also have their own abilities, you really have to think about not only avoiding the enemies but using the turret thats best for the current situation. Well done :thumbsup:
Awesome! The controls are quite sensitive and took a bit to get used to but after that it was good~ The art style was great, the effects were really cool (loved that jump attack) and the way the level "restarts" was quite unique and really connected to the theme. Only criticism is that the first couple of levels probably could have been easier, this would give new players a chance to learn without dying so much, but other than that great job! :thumbsup:
Cool game concept with nice art and sound! Performance was a bit of an issue though, you may want to look at allowing reduction in graphics quality for lower end computers.
Awesome idea, lets the player try to adjust obstacles to their advantage while still having to overcome them. Art style was nice and gameplay was very smooth!
@suchista Thank you for letting me know! It has now been fixed :)
@suchista I'm super glad to hear that! Yes 18 is bit of a jump, I'd ran out of time and quickly tried to put something more expansive together.
@aimainiac Thanks! Hopefully it will! @twoscoops Thank you!
@testuser I am very honored to be compared with Nintendo's level of quality, getting this on switch would be a dream come true!
@juan-garcia-jousset It does have a semi-steep learning curve, but its hard to find a balance between too challenging and not enough. With more time I'd probably have added a couple more beginner friendly levels, thank you for your kind words!
@azagaya Thank you very much! I tried to keep the design as simple as possible but not boring.
@freddyturbina Only the future will tell, thanks!
@tamail I think the chill factor depends on your success haha, thank you!
@dyguests I'm very very very happy to hear that, thanks!
@geryon-games Thank you! There are quite a few requests for more, hopefully I can deliver!
@gamepopper Thank you!Your mind is going to be even more blown away when you see them morph into other shapes :wink:
@clode Thanks, yes this is an issue I didn't think of until later, I'll add a fix as its a fair significant accessibility issue for many people.
@chocolat-endive Super happy to hear that! Thank you! Hopefully others will think the same!
@jvolonte I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the challenge, cheers!
@aterlamia Thank you! Yes I could probably turn it down a little
@jake-white I'm honored, and yes I did! Btw there is secret key on the keyboard to skip levels :wink:
@virtual-turtle-studio Thank you so much! The movement of the dashes (the flow) of the loops is there to indicate which way you will move when pressing the right arrow key (left to go opposite) though it isn't as clear when they're also rotating. The spikes do have a set movement but its rather complex (using overlapping sine waves) so its harder to predict but not impossible - however I may adjust this in future versions or make two versions of them.
@adiwan I can tell you it was far from devilishly simple to get working! Thank you!
@lucien-catonnet Thanks man, it can get quite intense! PS: see my reply to @virtual-turtle-studio regarding the loop direction (though yes I agree it could be improved).
@gonzalol I can't ask more than that! Super Thank you! :smile:
@beats Thanks! I'm glad to you like it so much! The combination of rage inducing challenges with a chill atmosphere is something I seem to be drawn to.
@woergbi Thank you!
@eldogg I didn't realise at the time but does sound a bit like that :laughing: Thanks!
@bigwhiteshogun A very solid thank you!
@guitarbro Its the flat de-saturated colours, a few games are using that style these days. Good idea for the analog stick control, that could also work for mobile (with virtual stick). I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@pradhuman I really hope so! Thank you!
@iluvatar Wow thank you so much!
@mustafa-cetin Awesome :smile: Thanks!
@thygrrr I'm super happy you liked the logo! :smile: (That took far longer than it looks) Yes I feel there could be a bit more leeway, but its hard to balance between different skill levels. Thank you very much!
@meadjix Thank you!
@quyndred Hmm perhaps? I've probably played it too much :sweat_smile: Thanks!
@captainproton42 Thank you! Yes the rotation makes it quite hard, I'd probably change the dashes to be more arrow like in order to solve this.
@rebecca-harrison And an enormous thank you for playing!
@pranjalbisht I have to agree the time to retry after death is quite long, I'd probably halve it now. Thank you for playing!
@yulia-li Haha I do apologise, thank you!
@vivoubos Thank you for your awesome comment!
@elemental-zeal-game-studios Thank you so much! I actually had some mechanics for changing speed but didn't get time to put them in
@los Thanks man!
@duke Thank you! A few people have commented on the speed, I don't think I'd change the maximum speed but probably reduce the acceleration.
@gamedev-and-architecture Very pleased to hear that! Thanks!
@mariana-mattevi Thank you Mariana! I'm glad you like the logo and perhaps one day you will!
@orlandobatista I'm honored, thank you so much Orlando! :grin:
@gentoogames With a lot of stress and late nights :sweat_smile: Thank you very much!
@mackandrius Thank you Andrius! The delay on replays is something I would change as well.
@mkraw Thank you!
Fantastic artwork and a very polished game overall, with a bit work this is practically a ready to ship mobile game!
The art and audio is really nice, would be great to see it fully fleshed out :slight_smile:
