Nicely done. Great atmosphere. The movement felt a bit wonky though.

Nicely done. Great atmosphere. The movement felt a bit wonky though.
Really well rounded beautiful game that kept me busy for longer than I'd like to admit. Eventually I had to give up on my dream to fill the whole pond though Screenshot (136).png
That was fun and challenging. Really well executed all round
Lovely art and atmosphere.
Great atmoshpere and graphics. Perfect fit for the theme.
What a pleasant experience. The art, sound and overall atmosphere was perfect. As a person with absolutely no musical abilities I was mostly just mashing buttons and even that sounded pretty decent. Good job.
Not sure how that drifting train manages to stay on the tracks. Maybe the meth helps. Interesting game. Nice sound and atmosphere. The mechanics and UI are slightly confusing though.
That was pretty fun. The lighting and mood was nice. I liked the art too.
I feel there could have been more puzzles though. I feel like I was mostly just walking through the maze until I find the keys instead of having to actually think and figure things out.
That was nice. I enjoyed the minimilist visuals and I think the colours worked nicely. It was relaxing to play but I also wanted to optimize my space as well as possible which made me restart a couple of times (this is a good thing).
Minor issues: the fences were a bit OP maybe and I'm not sure the boulders were always firing. A quality of life improvement to keep the current building type selected would be nice. Some indicator of where an object can be placed would be cool too.
My first though was "but this is just boxworld." How wrong I was. This brings a refreshing new dimension to a classic puzzle game.
That was nice. I would have liked there to be more strategy instead of just adjusting the angle until you find something that works but I cant really think of way to achieve that. I think maybe if the player could somehow guess the trajectory more accurately that would help.
As a quality of life improvement I think you should automatically restart the level when the spaceship crashes or goes outside certain boundaries so the player doesn't have to click restart every time. Or at least add a restart hotkey.
Didn't really understand what was going on
Great job on a first entry. I liked the creepy alien crab thing and I enjoyed the light humour.
I enjoyed this. I think some puzzles where timing is important would add another dimension, i.e. stand on button 1 for 3 seconds, then move to button 2.
I like the style animation but I almost gave up on the jumping mechanics. Eventually got used to it though.
Good job. I like the idea. The movements felt a little choppy though and traffic could use some more variation and difficulty so the player needs to figure the traffic patterns out.
The layers made things suprisingly interesting but I wish it was used to implement some puzzles into the levels. I think the rope should anchor to the current tile because sometimess digging up or down was confusing with the rope going diagonal and it wasn't clear what tile you were on.
Nicely done. I think the ascend speed should be a lot quicker and I'd like to be able to take the basket further to the sides as I feel some feel are impossible to reach or shoot.
That was very cool. It was a great moment when my dash fell just short of a group of fish and they got away, forcing me to play again to improve my time :)
I liked the look and feel. The level design was a bit strange and I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do.
That was very unexpected but really cool. Thanks for the experience.
A simple game but actually kinda fun. I made it to the 11th night. Wouldn't mind playing more if the RNG felt more manageable. Its really frustrating to watch your players miss a zombie 10 times in a row. I think it would be less frustrating if the zombies moved a little faster with better accuracy so that you don't have to watch them miss everything. Weapon upgrades would be amazing or an option to increase damage.
Losing someone to foraging is devestating but you don't really have a choice to forage or not which can also feel a bit frustrating. Maybe display the odds of gaining or losing someone and change it based on how many people you already have?
I think a more interesting shape for a building could be cool so you have more strategy in moving your players around. Some random variation in the sounds would be appreciated :P
This was pretty fun and challenging. For such a basic concept there's actually a bit of strategy. Really enjoyed the music and it fits the game well. I think the actual game lacks some audio feedback though. A leaderboard or randomized levels would have added a lot of replayability. The really liked the clean minimalist art style. Good job with the entry!
I'll be honest, I didn't really understand the mechanics or strategy but still played it for quite a while. Not sure whats going on but the game seems to get stuck if you bet more than 10k and then I had to refresh and then give up to get out of the battle. The sound for hover over buttons kinda annoyed me. It sounds like its behind me that feels a bit weird.
The art, sound and feel of the whole thing is amazing though and it seems like you have a solid framework.
I was a little confused at first. Some visual or audio feedback would have gone a long way in indicating how the resources work. Its a ludum game so balancing is always a challenge but I feel like many of the units weren't very useful, not because of their ability but because of the AI. I don't want my bard or healer running in like a madman XD
The art was cool and its nice that you added speed options. The drag and drop felt a bit tedious. I would have preferred a select and place on click.
Unique take on the theme. I was really in the mood for some kind of city builder so I really enjoyed this. Unfortunely, the best strategy is to just spam everything as fast as you can and then the inevetiable never comes. I got to 300k Gold before I decided to bail.
This was a cool entry. Loved the graphics. Dialogue and characters were cool and interesting. Interesting take on the them. Glad I got to play it.
I got stuck when exiting a window and a dialogue popped up. I couldn't proceed in the conversation because I kept entering the building instead.
Some critique first: The decisions seemed a bit arbitrary at times. It felt more like a guessing game rather than a puzzle. And for that reason it would be way better if you didn't have to restart the game after choosing the wrong item. I'm not sure if its a bug or not but the text at the end cuts out halfway through and theres no indication that the game is over. I'm also not sure how exactly it fits the theme.
The good: The art is great. The sound is great and fits the style. The dialogue is clever and funny. Its intuitive and a fun little game.
Really cool idea. Loved the mood and naration. Liked the variation in naration on restarts. I was a little confused until I realised you could tripple jump. I had to check the comments to realize there is an ending.
Unfortunely the controls didn't feel very snappy and I struggled the jump where I wanted. But I guess it helped build the tension towards the end until you wake up.
Interesting take on the theme. Nice art and plenty of variation. The game is addictive and quickly gets challenging. Just wish there was more to it.
That was hilarious! As a South African I am glad to see the vuvuzela represented on the big stage XD The music and sound is nice.
I think the game could have benefited from a slightly higher camera angle and controls that feel a bit more responsive.
Looks and music is really good but that camera is a bit jarring. The combat is cool but not very difficult or responsive. I don't think spamming attack should let them chain so much.
Awww that was really cute and I really liked the art and music. It was lovely game.
The movement was a little bit finicky at times and the first time I started the conversation with the owl I wasn't close enough and the speach got cut off at the top of the screen.
Fun game to play. I liked the added luck! one time I discarded an upgrade and it took away all my crab meat-sob! I like that you can also slow down and speed up the game, very nice.
I had fun. Nice mood and implementation of the theme. Liked the art and sound.
I feel like the zoomed out view makes it a bit hard to judge where the source of some of the leaks are. It could help to place some broken wood or a hole at the source. The sinking animation when you've lost is a bit long. I think a retry/exit option should pop up as soon as you lost. It would also be cool if you could just hold E and you keep hauling buckets intead of having to repress E after each bucket.
I really liked this. The art and music is perfect. I love the idea that you need to frenetically add parts to try to stay afloat. Unfortunately, a very basic design will essentially go on forever as far as I can tell. Maybe you can lock the ability to do maintenance when there aren't any spaces left to build? Or make speed help keep your boat afloat so that a basic slow design doesn't go on forever. Or fluctuate the levels of wind? ld.PNG
I was a little confused at first. Some text to tell the player to use the sliders would help. I think you could also communicate that the player needs to go north or even have checkpoints where the required direction changes because I didn't find the rudder necessary to use. The trick is just to keep the oars in sync.
Its a simple concept thats easy to understand. I liked the sound and feel of the game. I would consider putting the oars at an angle so it actually goes into the water XD Add some particle effects around where it touches the water to hide the clipping. Maybe some screen shake or speed lines when you go fast to make it feel more satisfying.
I struggled a bit to interact with things, I think the hitboxes felt a little off. The car movement is fun but I think it could use some deceleration when no keys are pressed so that it doesn't keep drifting off while you make the burger although I guess that adds to the humour. I think it would have been funny if the terrain was a little destructible so you can run over fences or other objects.
This is a well polished entry! I think my only gripes are that I would prefer W instead of space for the booster and I wasn't sure where to deliver the package at first. I thought I could just release it so it hits the planet.
I was a bit confused at first but it ended up being pretty fun. I didn't want to stop until I finished and I feel like I would have kept going if there were more missions. I think an endless mode could be interesting. It was a nice level of planning and challenge.
That was interesting. The art, sound and story was great. I think showing the resource impact takes a little away from the story. Instead of thinking about the best possible choice from a story perspective, I just choose the best option based on the resources. I would consider removing the the resource indicator or just say +/- the resource but not the quantity. But then you need to make sure the story choices align well with the results which can be challenging. I think adding a morale resource could also add some weight to the choices.
Solid game. Art, music and mood is perfect. I struggled to figure out what to do at first and I also had to zoom out on the itch page to actually see the full game. I would have liked the cards to be a bit higher up so I could see the effects and the board at the same time. Choosing between the boons had me confused because I didn't realise you have to click on the character and not the card.
Very simple game done well. I think a leaderboard would have added a lot. Maybe some more sound effects like crying babies or screaming ladies would improve the mood and humour. Otherwise, well done.
The base idea is cool. Art and world looks really good. The rocket sound and art is super satisfying. The journey between points is a bit slow and not very interesting.
Cute game. Well done with the entry. I don't think you should make the instructions disappear on its own or maybe add a button to bring it back. Some characters didn't want to accept the packages. Theres a funny bug where the car sound plays when you press Q even if you aren't near the car.
