Captain Mumbles Bumbum, Earth's Greatest Wrestling Terror Philosopher, wholeheartedly approves of this game. It's art style and dialogue are both great! Seriously, the writing is stellar! The music also ties the mood together perfectly. I want to talk so much about the story, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. Good job Team Lazerbeam!
Oh I love this! At first when I got to the bar and started asking questions, I thought it was just gonna be a cheesy fourth wall break, but you totally managed to make it really interesting. I love the art too, and the music is great, I was just vibing in the main menu for a bit before I even started playing. Awesome job!

Of all the tunes I made over the jam that was one of my favourites - I worried that it might be wasted on the main menu, but secretly hoped someone cool would just chill out with it playing the background. When I saw this cute catstronaut I couldn’t pass by! I love mysterious detectives. Seemed too much talking but it’s understandable considered harsh time limit for game development. I loved the drawn art and the last dialog)

I'm so glad I stuck it out to the end. This game was really different from a lot of the other takes on the deeper and deeper theme in a good way. The art was well done, and the storyline was also interesting. Loved how you got to name yourself something random at the beginning... and the CATS!!! Thank you for making this! Good job!

Visually the game looked good. The music was nice but some sound effects could have helped a lot. Overall the game was polished and not a bad entry.

Very nice game! I enjoyed the art, music, and writing a lot - it was a really pleasant experience! I assumed it would be longer based on all the save/load/etc. controls, but I didn't mind the length in the end. Really nice work!
What a sweet experience! The game left a warm feeling in my chest, like if I was surrounded by cats in a small underground cozy room somewhere far away while talking to someone interesting. Oh wait :sweat_smile:

I absolutely love the art style, the mood and the music. I'm not from France, but I'm now a Team Lazerbeam fan! I love the three last questions / answers, it made me feel more connected to my journey as a beginner game dev.

You've the deepest dialog I have seen in a game, you're at the level of "Psycho Mantis". Nice music Nice artistic direction. Some sound effects will be appreciated. Really refreshing idea for the interpretation of the theme. Well done thanks for your game.

@fueelin I did plan for the game to be a bit longer myself - there was gonna be another decoy bar above The Deepest Booze! Had to cut it because of time constraints, but I feel like this is a nice length for a LD game; gives the player a nice little contained experience and then lets them get on with playing other jam creations!

Nice user interface. Art style is simple but consistent (including the buttons at the bottom), which together with nice music create an immersive atmosphere.
Fun name and profession combinations!
Some interesting philosophy, and a deep twist, really nice! The surface layer analysis based on choices was pretty spot on.
Really liked the narrative and the messages of the game - was certainly a meaningful experience.
