This was fun to play around in, you have a couple interesting concepts in here! I like the idea of driving and also making the burgers inside the van, although my van kept driving when I switched and I barely made the delivery with just a couple seconds left lol. That might be a neat mechanic as well! Co-op play unlocked :P The driving was wild, it felt like race drifting, which also could be fleshed out in the future!
Enjoyed it, had a bit of trouble controlling the truck at first but got the hang of it eventually. Cool concept!
I struggled a bit to interact with things, I think the hitboxes felt a little off. The car movement is fun but I think it could use some deceleration when no keys are pressed so that it doesn't keep drifting off while you make the burger although I guess that adds to the humour. I think it would have been funny if the terrain was a little destructible so you can run over fences or other objects.
Really fun map! I loved driving the truck around, but I had trouble getting the right spot of the driver's seat to go back driving after preparing the burger. Plus, I don't know if it's intentional, but when you enter the kitchen the car will not stop moving and I got off the map once because of this. It's okay though because I just respawned :)
Very fun game and cool concept, wish the car physics were a bit smoother but besides that, it's a very nice game! well done!
It got really fun once i got used to the control trying to get steak cooking leaving the wheel while zooming through the street but i think the truck control aren't totally disabled when you are inside as it acted WAY different when i got inside while it was still moving . The waypoint felt a bit buggy and sometimes i was totally inside but couldn't deliver. The minimap was really nice but having it totally dezoomed to get an idea how far each deliver is gonna be to know when to put the burger on the grill would have been good.

Love the concept and that it’s two games in one! Took me way too long to understand how to deliver the hamburger tho, didn’t get I had to put it on the table.

I like the idea of frantically trying to cook and drive a truck at the same time, it's like Overcooked meets Crazy Taxi. In practice, it's almost impossible to do it efficiently, the truck tends to zoom past the delivery point or you have to make it drive so slow that you end up not saving much time. But you know what? It's fun trying anyway, and I think the concept could be made into a full game by figuring out the right balance between the two.
Good job on making this experiment, I truly had fun playing.

Whoa, this was really ambitious! I had fun, but I never managed to make a burger successfully. Love the idea!
The beginning was really tough because the tutorial button didn't even work and I had to read the description 4 times to figure everything out. But after it gets way too easy. I guess it's cool to have a truck that jumps when it gets into a fatal crash, but I quit after cooking 10 burgers.
Hi @stingby12, thanks for the comment. The balancing the tutorial and some balancing (that makes the game more fun) have been fixed in the post jam version on the itch.io.
The idea is amazing but as the game is, it's very hard to get anything done. Maybe mouse controls inside kichen? More time to cook? It's also very hard to find the location when it's over the visual range and outside map.
Overall, the idea is very creative and I really liked it. Some polish work could turn this game into really fun.
Congratulations to the team.
I really enjoyed how there were two "phases" to the gameplay! That made the game feel satisfyingly hefty. I got this happy dopamine rush every time I completed an order .
My two criticisms were the lack of a brake on the van, and the bug that if I was already at a checkpoint when I completed my order, I had to leave and re-enter to get it to register. Those were very small complaints, though, and barely took away from the experience.
If you were to develop this idea further, making different kinds of burger orders, with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. could add variation to the gameplay. Really fun game overall, and good job!
