LD52 — Harvest (4)

Infernal Garden by publicidadeba 2023-01-10T21:55:35Z ♥ 1

Very nice game jam entry, super polished. However, I had troubles to see those fly enemies as they had no nameplates and similar colors to the flowers.

All I see is this with some background music playing. Tried to click everywhere or smash random keys to figure out what to do but nothing happened.

Harvest or Die by Ninnec 2023-01-09T17:14:48Z ♥ 3

I would suggest adding a more interactive or graphical tutorial. It was a lot of text to read before starting the actual game. Other than that, it is a pretty nice entry. I liked the graphics and music despite not being able to finish the game.

Beat the Harvester by Cloverfall 2023-01-09T16:53:22Z ♥ 1

I am unable to start next wave. After I destroy the first one, clicking on the "Start Wave" button does nothing.

Deep Jam by MadR 2021-04-27T20:21:56Z ♥ 1

Congratulations on finishing your first game!

The game has interesting idea and graphics style and feels smooth, but hard to play. I would suggest slower start maybe. For example, when you start and try the controls for the first time, you immediately die when you jump. Also, why not using W for jump instead of space? It was kinda hard for me to get used to these controls and couldn't get far in the game.

In Too Deep by JoeShanahan 2021-04-27T18:08:04Z ♥ 1

This game is amazing. The graphics, the UI, animations, effects, the amount of content, level transitions, fitting music,... everything is so well polished. Great job, that's all I can say.

A very nice polished game for a game jam. The graphics, the animations, sound effects -- great job. I especially liked the in-game tutorial included in the first level. Some background music would make it even better.

This was a nice chill game. I enjoyed cutting my way through rocks while listening to that peaceful music. Until I fell out of the world... 😃

I just wonder, can you somehow win or lose the game?

Billy's Massacre by DS Nahogara 2021-04-27T10:57:22Z ♥ 1

It has a specific graphics style, and everything goes well together. Good job with that. I also like the audio that gives some tension to it. However, I don't know what should happen. The game feels very slow-paced, and I just gave up after completing the third test because doing ten more didn't feel like a lot of fun. I was also running around the map trying to meet the stalker, as shown in the video but couldn't find him.

Also, I had some troubles doing the tests. I had to jump on the table and move around for a while before I was able to do it. Also, the door could be wider, so it is easier to go rooms.

Cursed Mansion Crawler by Btdyaya 2021-04-26T21:59:25Z ♥ 0

The game looks nice. It must have been a lot of effort. I also like the music. I have some issues in terms of playability. The camera seems to have an extremely narrow field of view, so it's hard to see the enemies or even look around. Therefore, it is hard to say where the enemies are, and I'm just dying there all of a sudden without any visible reason. It would also be helpful to have some kind of crosshair for aiming.

Grabby - The Ultimate Grabbinator by rucksack 2020-10-06T17:54:57Z ♥ 1

At first I had troubles to understand how to start moving but that was because I kinda ignored the text that was explaining that :) Anyway, the game is very well polished and has a lot of content for a game jam entry -- all those different types of enemies and interaction. Also the core mechanic of the movement is something new that makes it different from other platformers. Well done!

Loop de l'eau by jo_ann 2020-10-05T21:41:31Z ♥ 2

I sort of didn't understand what is the goal or what should I do in the game. When does the game end or do I get any score? I don't know.

Also moving the mouse up and down didn't feel like it is doing anythig.
