very, VERY, VEEERY CUTE GAME!!! I need to be more awake next time I try to play it, but it's so so cute!! <3
OH MY GOODNESS THE ART, THE COLOR PALETTE, THE CONCEPT, THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANT IN MY LIFE!!! IF ONLY I COULD SQUISH THIS CUTE BABY BUN IN REAL LIFE I COULD DIE IN A PUDDLE OF SMUSH!! THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS ADORABLE GAME!!!!!
@karbirus @isabelle-szeto Thank you!!! @himeija really put all her love in those pixels <3
It is really cute :) I accidentally fell down a hole and missed a bunny, but some puzzles took me some time. Congrats !
Great game! Reminds me level with monkey in old puzzle game called "Pilot brothers". But here we have bunnies instead of monkey :3
This game is excellent! You've made a lot of design decisions that I appreciate and agree with. The tutorial does a phenomenal job explaining the gameplay quickly and clearly to the player. The bunny logic would be harder to understand otherwise.
It took me a second to see how it fit with the theme, until I realized you're traveling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole. I'd honesty call attention to that in your description so players make the connection!
Great submission.
Really cool game. I think i ll dream of rabbit this night :)
The artwork is outstandingly adorable! The color palettes for each stage are just perfect! Serious compliments to the artist. The music was pretty fantastic too. Great game! one of the best this jam. ld_beautiful.PNG
This was really cute and fun! Great job! I felt like I had a really good intuition of how the bunnies would move pretty quickly - It was impressive how effectively the first few puzzles teach the player!
My only (minor) complaint was that movement would sometimes feel a little bit laggy when the bunny moved multiple spaces at once. Once I realized that I was just waiting for the bunny to stop moving before I could move again, it made sense, but it still broke up my flow just a bit.
I managed to get ten bunnies deep before getting stumped by this puzzle, but I had a lot of fun catching bunnies! I also loved the art style you have going on - Everything felt very polished and intentional!

very nice))
Ooooohh what a cutie he is
Adorable! Love it! Its a very smart little puzzle game I enjoyed the difficulty level and both the art and music were fantastic. Awesome work!
Really innovative puzzle game, the art is great, the rules are well explained and easy to understand, well done!
Absolutely fantastic game. I love this puzzle. It's very original, yet simple and perfect for the theme of catching a bunny. The art style was really polished too. Amazing!
One of the best game I've seen so far in this jam ! The art, the kinda sokoban gameplay, the music. It's cute and excellent for only 72h! And puzzles are brillant!

So cute. The puzzles are very good. The game introduction really well explains how to play it.
I would have liked a bit more explanations about the traps though. They do not seem to behave exactly as the walls (for example a rabbit will not go into a long path which ends with a trap, which let me stuck for a while in a level at the middle of the game).
Ooooh it's always quite frustrating when you come across what will eventually be the winning game for Ludum Dare! Honestly well done this game is so much fun and looks great. I don't have any complains other than I'm quite rubbish at it! Great job.
cute and fun, a great combo. I was in the same boat as Kool and got stumped at 10, but definitely had a good time playing it
super duper cute game, good music, interesting levels. also appreciated the ability to skip levels
**Thanks everyone for your feedback**, we're overwhelmed by such positive feedback, we're so glad you enjoyed our silly puzzle game! 💗
@jordan-ottesen *"I’d honesty call attention to that in your description so players make the connection!"* nice catch! I improved the bio in that regard! thank you!
@koolruz thanks! yup I initially let the player move around freely while the bunnies flee, it indeed felt better but in the case where Paquerette surprised a bunny around a corner (1 tile away), it'd force the bunny to do some teleporting away in order to catch up with her next moves. I might revisit/fix this if we end up coming back to this silly game someday! 🐇
@loig yeah there are indeed some corner cases specific for traps (for example, if a trap is around a corner, the bunny won't be able to see it and treat the corner as a regular one!). We should def add some more intermediate levels if/when we come back to this game! 🐇
Very cute puzzle game!! Love the graphics and the simplicity
Very Sokoban-esque
(Very minor bug I noticed, the music glitches out when the game looses focus)
@cary-stanley thanks! Yeah WebGL and FMOD is a weird mix, so the game either freezes if loses focus (even on the same page/when scrolling) or run in the background and glitches out when switching tabs :c I think I'll add a desktop build since I noticed some other people had other audio issues as well!
I'm a sucker for puzzle games so this was super fun to play! Love the color palette and gushing over the music!
That's such a cute and cool game you have here, congrats to the team! I failed to capture a few bunnies and wasn't able to find babies, but I still managed to get 11 bunnies!
:rabbit: Great game but it's just frying my brain out, I'm not made for this kind of stuff :sob:
This is my favourite game that I've seen! I had the pleasure of seeing it played on stream. Cool mechanics, well implemented, highly polished and lovely graphics and audio. A real treat from a jam. Great work!
SOOO CUTE! The animations and bunnies are incredible, by heart is begging for more levels! The babies mechanics is incredibly DEEP and interesting. The music is so cute and chill, I'm gonna have a little loop in the background while I'm doing some dev work later. <3 <3 for babies <3 <3
this is too cute!! one of my favorites so far; this game has so much STYLE
This was excellent! Very cool graphics and audio, and you managed to make a pathing-based puzzle type (which often tends to involve a lot of really complex hidden rules) quite intuitive to grasp and not overwhelming. Excellent work!
Thank you very much @chrisap ! The music is available here if you want :) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2ZkPXypFRNDgzEqE5H90IoeCSNrPWRAJ
Solid entry. Good onboarding, great visuals and the music is SOOOOOOOOO good!!!
Cute bun!
Thank you so much everyone for your cute comments <3
Ok the art style on this one is super super good! Like, *so* good! Amazing work!!
Really fun and clever game! I'm VERY CONCERNED about what's gonna happen with these bunnies.
Never seen a game explain its AI pathfinding before, let alone one all about exploiting it. As a bit of a CS geek that's actually pretty cool c:
Very pretty game reminds me of the Farfetch'd segment of Gold and Silver. I'm not good at puzzle games but I had fun.
I managed to get 9/14 and 1 baby bunny before i started skipping all of the levels to see whats at the end. Fantastic game, with great art and sound :D
Super cute game! Really great puzzle design. I thought the audio complimented the game really well, though for some reason the audio would get warped sounding every now and then when I played in browser.
Cute! And there's the kind of challenge I like!
Congratulations to all involved.
P.S .: I would like to know what FMOD was used for?
Really great puzzle game! The mechanic is unique and challenging but not impossible, a really hard balance to strike in such a short time. I was able to find 2 baby bunnies but haven't figured out the other 2 yet (I think you mentioned there were 4?) I got the last bunny to go to the elevator but then it just walks right through it! :P
@natethegreat glad you liked it! There are AFAIK 3 babies available but the last one requires a lil exploit based on an oversight in the bunny AI. If you wanna try to pull it off, it's on the level with two traps! Dunno if it's possible to get it "legitimately", I haven't managed it but who knows??? 😄😄😄
@euler-moises hoy thank you! I'd have to double-check with @herbie-puppy but I believe we *only* use FMOD to have neat out-of-the-box transitions between musics and stackable non-interruptible one-shot sounds! (which would require additional setup with vanilla unity audio system). Oh also the sound effects are always in rhythm/sync(?) with the background score (something along these lines i think~)!
Thank you everyone !
@euler-moises FMOD was used mostly because it is very convinient to do mixing (changing volumes, making some EQing, add some compressors...) while playing the game in Unity. Also the background music volume is compressed by a sidechain from soundfx. So you can more easily ditinguish what are soundfx and noises from the music :)
@lenophie is correct for the first half but soundfx are not sync with music, it is just made in a way that every note are "in tune" with the music (I paid attention that the notes of the soundfx are always somewhat in the scale used in the music ^^)
This game is legit amazing I would pay for it if I could.
I LOVE this game!
This game is so great, it's a very clever puzzle one, you got so inspiration for the levels! One way to improve should be to give so hint (how, I don't know 😅) to the player :) Good job again!
I knew bunnies were fast at making babies, but that fast? Nice little game :)
Game looks, sound and plays like a perfect game to me! And to think that you came up with such a polished, stylish game that plays like a finished experience in just 3 days! Just tweaking the levels to play so perfectly sound like a couple of months task to me! Would love to see more of this world and hope you guys release it on steam! GG
Very cute game, love the art, the music. Amazing jam guys!!
Really enjoyed the game. Music was great, graphics were good. I liked the colour changes and music changes as you got deeper. Puzzles were good, I only missed one rabbit by accident.
Feel like the kind of puzzle game that a move counter would be in. Pass a level for 1 star, under X moves for 3 stars kind of thing.
Well done!
Great sound track, nice art, and clever puzzles.
Wow, level of neatness is incredibly high! Very well done, words are unnecessary. Just thank you for submitting this :)
Loved the music and how it changed with level themes! The puzzles were just challenging enough without being frustrating, so you could breeze through the game while looking at cute bunnies
If I have one complaint, it's lack of fullscreen or at least resolution adjustment. The game was so tiny on my 2560x1440 and even tinier on a widescreen. It takes away a lot from the enjoyment.
I would also like the ability/option to sort of block the rabbi hole before you catch rabbits on a level. I once went into a next level hole by accident before catching a rabbit and then had to restart the game cause I just could not live with the fact of leaving a bun in my wake uncaught
Overall, it's a very nice and polished game. Great work!
fun to play, retro feel was great and very well made. thanks for brining it to my attention :) that bloody bunny!!!
I only have nice things to say about it! Great jam game
We played your game on stream yesterday, here's the VOD if you want to have a look  https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004121404?t=00h13m32s
@paulloz oh yes ty so much! I was so sad I missed it!
Absolutely love this! Despite seeing a stream of it beforehand *and* knowing about... *how babby is formed*, I only managed to get 2 baby bunnies. These bunnies are too smart for my tiny human brain.
Very cute game with nice puzzles
@goggleskitty Haha good job! To be fair the third baby is AFAIK only obtainable by exploiting a bug in the bun AI so don't beat yourself up over it haha!
Very cute game! I did skip some levels to get to see all content, but I also got a baby bunny ^^
This is the cutest LD48 game ive played yet...The bun ai is really amazing... I still havnt figured it out.. i caught about 10 out of 14 buns tho ... so i think I did pretty well... DOnt know why i didnt play this earlier... the colors really blend well with the game .. Thanks for making this..
I have the feeling you might win on Audio and Graphic, very good. I manage to capture all the rabbits with my friend but can only capture one baby. Where is the other baby go? Btw, good job on the game. I have a fun time playing it.
One of my favorite games!! It was sooo cute and I definitely want to play it again to capture all the bunnies (and the babies) and not skip a level by accident. Thank you!
Very cute and smart puzzle-game. The art style and the color palette are awesome. Good job!
One of the cutest game I played so far in the jam! The pokemon like art style works really well, and you did great with the sound design (really liked the fact that the music evolves as we go deeper)! The gameplay works pretty well, puzzles were funs to solve :) Sad that I managed to skip two levels by going into holes by mistake
Great job to all of you :D
**Thanks everyone again for playing and loving our silly game <3** Accidental skipping of levels is definitely one of the hottest issues of this entry, def will fix that~~
@baconn00 here's a hint: you obviously need two bunnies in a level to make a baby one, so try to think about how you could get more bunnies in subsequent levels :3 (you can get 3 babies total but third one is a lil exploit)
Wow this is just amazing! This is crazy, the best game I played so far in this jam.
Really cool game! I think the most impressive part is just how polished it is. It runs with no bugs, good artwork, nice SFXs, well-crafted tutorial levels that explain how the game works, followed by a solid number of cleverly designed puzzles.
This game is just so adorable. ^_^ Thank you for making it! :)
I loved this game! You did it all. Very polished. Great concept. Every part of the game was awesome. I got all 14 bunnies and 2 of the babies! I feel incredibly accomplished right now, so thank you for making me feel this way.

[Thanks for submitting your game to the stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007626304?t=03h52m36s)
This game was endlessly charming, from the art to the music to the premise itself. I'm a sucker for simple to learn but hard to master puzzle games like this. It's not easy to design puzzles that are both easy to parse but challenging to figure out, but I'd say you nailed it here. I might just have to come back to this one for some baby bunnies!
@coleslaughter thank you so much for sharing the clip! (and for the love! <3)
The game is so polished, it almost looks like a finished indie game ready to be released. The puzzles were nice, but challenging (which is the goal of course). Love the pink-grayscale choice for the main pallette. The only thing it kinda lacks are some more mechanics, but I know that it's hard to make all of it in just 72 hours lol. Had some fun, lost just one bunny.
These bunnies think they're soooo smart. Well, they are, cause I skipped a few levels, lol. A clean and cute little game. I really enjoyed this one! Here is a VOD of my playthrough: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1006566684
Congratulations, I play with very nice graphics, it is fun, in the future I would love to see many more stages, a big hug, and I await your evaluations regarding my game.
this was just such a cute game, my daughter is never going to give the computer back now....
Forgot to post a link to the VOD of my playthrough: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004348513?t=10m
This is such a pleasure to play! And thank you for coming by the stream, even with no notice (I'm so glad Dan reached out). Here's [the recording of my first playthrough](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007876502?t=0h2m24s). It is a fantastically fun and functional jam game!
I was focused on solving the puzzles and didn't have a lot of suggestions for further development/polish while playing through, other than the music tracks having slightly different levels of volume. The discoverable baby element (and freedom to hop through holes without solving a level) make it more fun for replay, so those are good without being communicated up front.
I did realize I was lacking a clear indication of how far into the game I was. One high-effort fix (would not have been the answer during the jam): maybe a steady gradient of a different color each level would help that, with a definite fade to darker colors as we get deeper. So that when you're about as dark as feels in theme with the game you know you're close to the end. You may have kind of done that already with a move to cooler colors; I noticed the damper feel to the green levels' details. But with only three steps and the darkest color (purple) in the middle, it struck me more as just a change for variety than a progression. (A gradient would also of course make the elevator ride back up *extra* pretty.)
Nice art ;cute character and rabbit  this gmae is perfect I think I can give any advice but one : I am a smart man I dont need so many dialog box to tell me how to catch the rabbit :smirk:
Really clever stuff in this game it reminded me of trying to catch the bun in mario 64 the sneaky guys I just went through it a second time because I was only able to find 1 babby bunny, but I just had an idea about how to get so I gonna give it a 3rd try later haha >:)
Loved the look of this and thought the art was so cute which really worked well with the story. The colour choice was also lovely. Liked chasing the rabbits and figuring out how I could catch them, was a nice puzzle aspect. Only suggestion I would make is that it would be nice if I could set it to full screen as it was really small on my laptop.
Hmm, you're right, that 2-trap level is a little odd, especially because I forced the bunny down the hole using only 1 trap. 🤔 And I could have sworn it went straight into the rock, not randomly went left down the hole....
Screenshot 2021-05-23 003317.png
I'm interested to know, did I get all of 'em? 🐰💕
As far as we know @peace-of-cake-games you did get them all! Congrats! :) Thank you for playing! If you want to get even more bunnies, we are turning it into a full game, you can wishlist it on steam now :) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1628610/Paquerette_Down_the_Bunburrows/
@herbie-puppy Whew, I'm glad I got 'em all! Probably spent around an hour trying to do the bunny down the hole glitch. 😅
I saw you're going for a Steam release, best of luck! Never before have I had so much fun getting outsmarted by bunny NPCs, it's definitely worthy of a post-jam Steam version.
