Incredible game, the polish is out of this world (see what i did there?). Very beautiful and slick design. 10/10 would play again!

An exceptional game and experience, I played again and again! Wonderful addition of an online leaderboard!
fantastic game, very well done! the best i have seen so far.
It was realy good experience Sans titre.png
Amazing game, really has a unique feel to it and it's such a cool idea. At first, I was trying to figure out the keys for controlling the rockets and boost, so that's probably the only thing I'm missing
Amazing visuals, love the shadows that the planets have. I didn't get how to control the firing at first but once you understand the controls it's smooth sailing from there. Cool animation when resetting the game. The only thing bothering me is that the Main Menu UI is not centered, but that is just a small detail :)
Such a shame you opt-out from graphics and mood, they both would have been pretty high.
@arathedev @mdx Thank you so much.
@noiyy Yeah, I added the tutorial within the last hour of the jam. So it’s a bit rushed.
@zombiebust3r Whelp, didn’t notice that they were misaligned.. well it’s kind of on purpose since the scoreboard is supposed to be displayed at the title screen, but it was bugged.
I was so tired yesterday that I switched up ‘opt-out’ with ‘opt-in’ for the categories. :sleepy: Graphics & mood should be in, and humor & audio should be out. hope it's fixed now
@simex cool! will update my ratings then :)
very well polished game, with an interesting concept and very nice graphics.. Good job!!
Wow wow wow! The thumbnail alone caught my eye and made me say "that looks like a cool graphic style, I'll have to check it out." I'm so glad I did, it's very minimal but comes across sooooo well. The 2D shadows are awesome, the music sets such a good mood.
And that's before we even get into the orbital trajectory programming and you telling us that our shots are on intercept path with a meteor or not. Super smart!
Very pretty game with a unique concept :) At least i gave most of them a quick, toasty death. The rest of the population decreased really rapidly when it got cold xD
I experienced an incredible mood looking at your solar system model! The graphics is pretty wonderful! Moreover, the population counter makes me think that the cost of my decisions is high. It feels like simulations thanks for this. I would want to see how this project will be updated and supplemented further! Thanks for making this game!
Amazing! I had lots of fun playing many times :D Definitely one of the best games i've played so far in LD50. You've created a really fun sandbox and cool trajectory stuff to mess around with
WOW! I was hooked and played that darn game quite long without even realizing it! Mesmerizing and beautiful with all the shadows and the sun the planets the moons everything was very nice. I am also amazed with the simulation feature so you can approximate where your missiles will go. One thing I didn't understand was if by launching missiles I change the earth's orbit, or does this happen only with the boost? Great work!
Took me a while to realize I could alter my orbits, but once I figured that out it was smooth sailing! Really nice visuals and fun concept.
Fantastic game! It looks stunningly beautiful, and the gameplay got me hooked immediately. I love just being able to zoom out at the start of the game and watch the planets dance in a "calm before the storm" fashion. Then the real game begins and I can put all those skills gained from hours of Kerbal Space Program to a good use.
Having the ability to destroy or change orbits of all the objects in the system was a great move. To be honest, I've had more fun trying to blow up all the planets myself, rather than try to protect the Earth. ;) I think at some point I've managed to somehow run the Moon into Earth and kill half its population, though I'm not yet sure how. I love that bigger bodies don't get destroyed immediately, but instead get shattered and multiple smaller pieces can fly off into their own orbits. Another fun thing was discovering I can get killed by my own missiles I fired earlier, and that I can protect myself from that by destroying missiles with more missiles. :D
One thing that bugged me - when targeting the missiles, if their projected course intersects with another object's orbit, the other orbit "lights up" to show the interception, but it does so in a pretty wide range. Most of the time, what I think should hit (because the game told me so) just turns out a near miss. Perhaps it would be a good idea to keep the current range, but also mark the other orbit in different color when you get it "just right", so it's easier to target.
[JA Solar Panels](https://jasolarpanels.com/)
The use of solar PV panels on the roofs of homes and businesses is a sustainable and effective way to address climate change. It can help reduce the use of fossil fuels and provide clean energy to the country. The Indian government has set an ambitious goal of having 175 gigawatts of solar energy capacity by 2022. Although the government has announced that it will provide a 30% subsidy for the installation of solar PV panels on the roofs of homes, it is still promoting the financial benefits of this type of energy generation.
