I liked the controls, felt really intuitive. It was pretty good overall. I got a bit of a bug where my trail disappeared after I hit a rock. Thought you would want to know. It reminds me of a flash game called motherload. Just curious if that was an inspiration.

Felt cool to play. Got a bit hectic deeper down which felt fun. Took a couple plays to figure out the controls, but was fun overall :) good work!

All the art in this game looks rly good, and I like having to make hard decisions about what to drill or buy. I kind of wish the side-to-side movements were faster or costed less though.
This game is incredibly polished! I really like the art, it is basic but really charming and works great for this kind of game. The sounds are all really enjoyable and fit the game well. The gameplay is somewhat addicting and a lot of fun, but does seem to lack some depth. Overall this was a great entry!
Overall good...are there keyboard controls to move the drill, it was kind of annoying having to not laser to move.

This is really excellent. Super simple but strategic, easy to understand, good challenge, and diverse content. Even the changing soil as you go deeper adds a lot of juice to the game. I didn't feel the need to move side-to-side much, so maybe there could have been something that incentivized that more. I also got too many drill upgrades too quickly on one run and never had time to clear obstacles and enemies, but that's just a strategic blunder on my part. Well done, I played this quite a bit!

Great game! Could have done with a scoring system but the game is super well done!

Very simple but very entertaining! I really got into it and couldn't stop. Love the pretty graphics and intuitive controls. Sound effect also feel satisfying. Maybe it would be cool to add some more challenges or make the game more challenging. Even though it was entertaining, it felt very easy and I felt too powerful. But other tha that, very cool game.

Hey, this is fairly good! I think you could turn this into a polished packaged game if you wanted to! I will say that the game was a bit long on my screen (I guess you're intending it to be played on a phone?). The gameplay is a bit solid, though I was hoping to find some ship powerups along the way (stronger laser specifically!) Maybe they're there and I just didn't find them. I ran into two bugs. After I blew up and restarted once, my ship was entirely white for the next attempt. The other bug was that I had discovered you could move your ship on accident, and the next run the ship moved into that position. Something's not getting reset between runs. (Side note: there doesn't seem like a compelling reason to ever move your ship, so I don't know why that's an option.)

Cool game ! The art is really clean and polished, it could completely work as a mobile game using the touchscreen. Maybe some variations on the powerups could be nice

It took me few runs to figure out what is doing what. Perhaps that could be nice to have bit more tooltips here and there, but I was able to get it pretty soon. It is hard, it is challenging and really nice take on the theme. I like that you have to control everything with basically one button as it makes the degree of multitasking high! I did not make it till the end, but great job did here! I think you have solid base even for some post-jam update.

Really nice game. It took me a good while to learn that I am supposed to mine the minerals to buy poweraps and move left and right. After that, it was good fun. Some tutorial would be great.
EDIT: I see the instructions are there, I just skipped it in the beginning :face_palm:
wow! by some strange coincidence, this looks eerily similar to a project I worked on a while back, but yours is more fleshed out than mine was.Screenshot 2021-04-30 101327.png
Really liked it, got me hooked for a couple of runs! Nice sense of progression. Was a bit confusing at the start, maybe a more interactive tutorial would make the experience a bit more smooth. Great work!

Really good game! Well done :D
It was very addictive and just fun to play. It became stressful at times when there was both a rock in the way and enemies coming towards you. Especially when you introduced those enemies that moved faster everything became really hectic. On top of that you also have to collect resources to keep fuel topped up, and keep your health high. This I often forgot >_< Really nicely balanced between all these espects!
The fact that you had to gather the upgrades using your laser was a nice idea, since you have to choose even more where to use your laser. The only porblem I had with the upgrades is that I did not know what they did. The refuel and health ones were obvious. Then there was one with the image of a drill, so I guess this improves my drill somehow? (Although when I picked it up I did not really notice any improvement.) The others I had no idea what they were for. I am not saying you should have some overwhelming tutorial screen, but perhaps some indication that I upgraded something would be nice. For example, maybe the drill changes color, or has more particles?
A second point of feedback is when the enemies hit the drill. For me this felt a bit early, and there were times where I thought I killed the enemy, but actually it had exploded because it damaged me. Maybe the enemies should come a bit closer, or maybe there could be a bit more feedback when you take damage?
The start was a bit confusing, but very quickly it became clear what I had to do, so I dont think this was a big problem. Others were also saying they found the game pretty easy, but I must say I found it quite difficult. Maybe because I am just not very good with a mouse XD
All in all a really nice game! It is one of the most fun games of the LD I reviewed so far :D

I like the style of the game, graphics are pretty. It has nice game mechanics. Searching for the right ore to mine to unlock resources is a great way to keep the attention on what is happening. I enjoyed it a lot.
