Ok. Wow. I haven't finished it but it gives a lot of hypnospace outlaw vibes. I was hooked the instant the game started. This is really compelling.

Great take on theme well done
Hi there! I would like to say that I really like the concept that you went for! Didnt realize Thaum-OS was a wordplay of Thanos until 5 minutes in! I think the game was great however I do personally feel a little bit more handholding would help signfiicantly! I wasn't sure what to do sometimes! Overall still really love how you guys managed to execute a full fledged mystery story in 3 days! I also really like Retro Artstyles so I may be abit biased on that!
Wow, really super compelling adventure
I grew up in 97 and the graphics and sounds really took me back, I love what you did with the theme! I didn't manage to finish it though, but I did try twice but got stuck (that's on me though) The thing I would change is either removing the prompts or making them much less frequent, they didn't add to the experience for me and I found it far too distracting fromt he main goal.
The art style and sound effects really give off that vibe of using computers back in the day. Awesome setting and very interesting gameplay!
Reminds me of slow burning mystery games like 'Her Story'. It's a very complete experience and engaging for people who like this kind of gameplay. Good visual design too.
Wow, this is great. The interactivity of the OS was what easily took the cake for me. The art, audio, and gameplay bring the whole thing to life surprisingly well. I was a little wary after reading that I'd need to be taking notes myself, but for some reason seeing it presented as a Notes app on the OS immediately made it more compelling & easier to get behind. Very impressive. The variety of tasks on the OS is also great. I LOL'd every time I got to smash my keyboard to type a report & always enjoyed reading the way these mini-games(?) were tied into the theme.
In regards to feedback, the only thing I really wished there was more of was a tutorial/training-wheels section towards the beginning so the player is guided through the expected gameplay loops before being dropped in the deep end. That does sort of challenge the immersion of being able to just boot up the "OS" & hop in & out, so who knows. Being that this was a game jam, it's totally understandable why there wasn't a tutorial. Would be stoked to see what future updates could bring to this!! Hats off!
The art style is great. I will not even write how amazing the sounds turned out! :D It has such a nice mood. Really nice take on the theme as well. It was very neat experience! Reports were quite interesting to read. Good job! :D
This is a neat little OS sim. Definitely feels like I'm using an old OS, Very immersive. It was fun getting little messages from the email client too hahaa. Nice work!
I summoned Thoon. 10/10 would summon again.
I'm wondering if there were other endings, but when I restarted the game and all the passwords were different, I fear I lost the will to replay to figure out if I could've summoned anyone else.
I stumbled upon the first puzzle by accident, when I logged out and then didn't even realize I was logging into someone else's account because I didn't remember who I was. It took a bit too long to make that first leap. I think if the log out button were more prominent or in a part of the screen that the eye wanders to, it would have been easier to find the puzzle. Before that, I was wondering whether I had to purposefully fail tasks to continue the story, which would have been annoying since I had nothing to do between tasks.
I wish there were a way to stay logged in to someone else's email after completing a task. Often I would be perusing someone's email, get interrupted by a task, and then when I went back, I had to log in again, or my clipboard hadn't saved, etc., and that was a bit annoying. Still, I suppose I am very grateful that CTRL+V and TAB and other such shortcuts actually worked. Saving some time!
I eventually died by way of summoning people i would rather not, but i had a lot of fun getting there.
That was great. Very cool mystery / investigative / hacking experience. Got stuck somehow after I decrypted the file. And got logged out of the mail accounts very often and had to log in again. Otherwise.. very nice! And this OS definitely had some Win*95 feeling! Great work!
played it for a while, but i got stuck somewhere. Did a ritual and the sound stopped, but couldnt find anything that changed. Very cool game tho.
Great experience, managed to find 4 endings. Enjoyed it a lot!
