Not quite sure what to do at the sword/crystal part, I kind of ran out of patience then to be honest. I like the graphics though, and the music fits. It also has a nice atmosphere.
Nice game - I like the music, it fits the whimsical atmosphere. Also, that shotgun recoil though! I didn't get very far, I usually get knocked off very quickly, so my high score right now is 1500.
Looks nice, feels morbid thematically. Not really sure what to do other than eat sleep play and die though, maybe that's the intent?
Great graphics, the loop detection was a bit buggy though, it sometimes didn't trigger when it seemed like it should. Overall though I liked the simple but addictive gameplay of it.
I like super meat boy type games, although I am bad at them. This one is no exception - I couldn't get past the spike-chimney thing, but I had a fun time trying!
Great graphics and a very chill mood. I beat it in assisted mode. A small bug: It is possible to get stuck on certain objects, and without the ability to reset (in non-assisted mode) this can be a problem.
Great graphics, the controls feel a bit strange though. I can also spam the attack button as fast as my finger will let me. The art is incredible though!
It's fun to control, I'm just really bad at it - I keep bumping into everything :)
The mechanics are great, this could make for a great multiplayer game (could even have more than two trees in a ring-shaped arena). Really solid! It feels like a board game, but one that is only really possible on computers, if you get what I mean. Great work! Also: All hail Snailbert :)
The grappling is quite fun, but I think maybe a jump you can do while hanging on to it would be great so you can get on top of certain areas. I like the dino heads and the noise they make! I found it best to not use too much ammo on them and instead swing through them so they detonate on their own without damaging me.
Nice chill game, with a "power creep" type upgrade system! I wasn't sure how to pick up the tall purple crystals though, I had max pickaxe and backpack.
Great art, and fun gameplay. It is a bit annoying to have to do the Sokoban stuff again if you die to the boulder though.
The puzzle combat mechanics are really great! The art is nice as well, but the mechanics really make the game shine in my opinion. At first I didn't really get it, but after I realized how the timers for the enemies worked it felt great to play. Each skill has its situational use! The only problem maybe is that it didn't get too much harder, the difficulty didn't scale up that much.
@catomag it was actually ported to windows, I developed it on linux :) Indeed the monsters ended up being way too easy, but sometimes, randomly, way too hard (some learned to move too fast by bugging out the physics). Perhaps with a lot more tweaking it could be more engaging. Thanks for playing!
Cool game, I am really bad at it though. I am not good at the switching for multitasking. Well executed all around however.
Fun "power creep" game! After I maxed out the upgrades, I wanted to see if there is a max depth - I assume it just goes forever! One thing though - the audio overlaps quite a bit.
I managed to die in the bunker, and got a "bruh" :) Great art!
That was a strange experience haha.Funny game!
Simple but communicative graphics, and some straightforward but entertaining puzzles - was fun overall. I kept soft-locking myself though, there needs to be a reset of some sort that doesn't involve restarting the whole game I think. Also, the descending camera didn't really ever become relevant, I would have just left it out.
Nice one, I like the blood particle effects. The upgrade system is also pretty cool!
It took my a while to figure out the controls, but after that I was able to build a small colony. I like the idea, but the game really needs automation of some sort though - like routes with repeated behaviors or something, since it quickly becomes too much to control manually. Perhaps some basic behaviors can be "programmed" by the player by specifying what happens in certain conditions, allowing perhaps actual ant-like behavior (such as in ant colony optimization [ACO] algorithms, with pheromones and all that).
A cute game, seems incredibly difficult though. Maybe I'm just bad, but I feel like it's kind of hard to judge the position of the character relative to the platforms from the viewing angle. Still, good work!
Nice work, the environment and the story were well done. It got a bit laggy but that may just be because I played it in the browser. There were two main bugs, one was that I could push the statue through the wall and the second was that I could just skyrim my way up the stairs were it said I couldn't (not sure how else to solve, maybe knock over a column?).
I was only able to make it around half way through the second level, I'm not very good. But it was fun memorizing the patterns of the white blood cells, they really made it tricky.
Simple and clean roguelike! The environment is nice and the controls work well. An issue: I had a run going for quite a while, but then I died in one hit somehow despite having a bunch of HP. Also the game could benefit from pathfinding, but it's not a big deal. Good work overall!
I like the animation on the main character, it feels quite organic. Was a fun little metroidvania! The one thing that was a bit annoying was the aiming of the character, where it wouldn't turn the character around automatically when trying to shoot backwards.
It would be nice if there were a proper restart, since right now the game just closes. Also, it's very hard to attack the cybermunks without getting hit yourself. I like the graphics though!
I like that it is based on an event, and it fits the theme well! I ran it on Linux with wine, so I don't know if it was that or not but the sounds bugged out a little but. Other than that it ran well though.
Hmm, it doesn't seem to run correctly for me. I try to walk down the stairs but instead I just float in the air. Eventually I clip through the ceiling. I tried glitching my way down so I could press "Go Deeper", but as soon as I press I fall through the floor.
I gave it another go, collision works now. It's got a nice atmosphere! I like the posters on the wall, it reminds my of Akuma Kira. The hit registration seems a bit off though, sometimes my hits don't connect, seemingly randomly.
Nice atmosphere. I couldn't figure out where to go in the room with the bright tubs in it (is that the end so far?)
Something about the graphics appeals to me, reminds of Lemmings somehow. The splash management aspect was also pretty cool. I agree it could use some sound effects though!
A funny gimmick, a little too obvious though IMO. I like the graphics!
Nicely done! The painting effect looks really good. The only issue I had was that it seems like the best way to defeat the boss is to not actually see it, but sit on the spawn and blind fire at it. Still great work though!
Simple but cool concept! I like the use of lighting to figure out where to go. Recommendation: I feel like it should maybe only count the distance descended up until the last time you landed, since right now just falling on purpose is the quickest way to get a high score.
Very chill even under time pressure - I think it's the music :) Nice game!
I haven't played something like Lemmings in a while, was fun. I wasn't quite fast enough for that last level though. The two main issues I had was that the positioning of the structures was a bit finicky and that the music was a bit much. Great work overall though!
Great graphics and sound. The mechanics are a bit overwhelming at first but one quickly gets the hang of it. I did run into an issue though: I lost the ability to step or take turns after a few levels/rooms. I could not move anymore or interact in any way but set the destination.
Extremely difficult, or maybe I am just bad - spent quite some time trying to hit the same TNT block. Fun "physics wrangling" game!
Game isn't up yet, have a lot of trouble compiling the Windows version. Will publish the Linux one at least now!
EDIT: Both versions should work now!
Got a working build for Windows (I hope) - it should work. Looking into the missing .so in the Linux version now!
Same as the others - need a password.
Wacky game, interesting idea! I like leading shots on the boss and then picking them back up again.
I think the mechanics are quite clever, needs some polish though!
I won, yay! I like the inclusion of the tutorial area. Having multiple weapons is also nice. I found it easier to run past most enemies, though. Perhaps it would help if you had to stay in the range of the reactor to repair it?
The idea is cool, but I think the whole game needs to be sped up, it's kind of a slog to get through a maze at the moment. The idea of the balls blocking different paths is interesting and gives a purpose to the tilting.
Requires some intense time management! I couldn't figure out where the water bucket was though. Is it that thing in the middle? If so, I cannot seem to interact with it? It seemed more like a way to get rid of what I was currently holding.
I was able to get the game to scale properly by going fullscreen, but I think it only worked because I have the same resolution as you. Other than that, I am not really sure what is going on to be honest - I kind of walk forward and bug around the enemies, slowly taking them out. The art is nice, though.
Very Limbo-like, great stuff. The only thing that bothered me a little was the wall jump controls - it would be nice if it just took the last key you kit instead of locking up when both A and D are pressed. Very atmospheric, well done.
I like the art, it's got a sort of surreal feel to it. The game ran very slowly for me though, I am guessing around 5 fps, so I couldn't play it for too long!
Funny game, became a bit tedious to beat it though, was playing twister with my fingers on the keyboard!
I like the idea, needs some balancing though. I was able to win by just spam-placing anything and everything, and not repairing anymore.
I managed to get a time, but I think only due to a bug, the boxes got stuck in the car somehow. Cool that you added a leaderboard!
At the third level I am already overwhelmed and just mashing buttons - it gets crazy fast! Those plip-plops are pretty needy huh ;) Interesting game.
Cute game, I like the art. I couldn't get very far though, it seems nearly impossible to control, at least for me.
A fun idea, a bit buggy though, sometimes the physics act a bit strange. It doesn't seem like the hay spawning is random, which makes it difficult when the hay keeps spawning in the corner (maybe just narrow down the hay spawn range as well). I also eventually lost the whole board, and got negative lives, but the game didn't terminate.
I wanted to try the web version (I'm on Linux), but unfortunately it says the page could now be found.
Came back for another try, now that the game is set to public. However, it isn't really playable for me yet, as the mouse doesn't lock in the web version (I'm on Linux so I cannot try the Windows version easily).
As you mentioned, the game got stuck at a black screen for me when transitioning (to level 3 in my case). It was a fun game while it lasted though! Pretty difficult, I found not using a/d to be easier and just slowing things down. I like the little story that goes on.
It's simple but it works - also the animations are quite nice. The difficulty curve seems alright as well, across all levels. Good work!
Nice, fun little story-driven game!
Simple and fun - but that last level was brutal! It took me 30 tries or so. I like the design of the little wheel dudes.
This definitely needs a tutorial or something, I didn't really know what I was doing at all!
It's pretty simple but still fun. Is there are purpose to speeding up? I was able to keep on going essentially forever by maintaining a leisurely pace.
Cool game/idea, a bit buggy though. I went through a couple of diodes in reverse, and I also softlocked (couldn't move anymore). The camera could be zoomed out a bit beforehand maybe to help make planning a bit easier, cool concept though!
@crimoudin yeah it can be very frustrating, it's unfortunately a bit of a failed experiment, it's just not really fun. Thanks for sticking it out to the end though!
@boboch-d-brew yes, unfortunately I don't think there is much I can do about it, it works just fine on itch.io (so give it a try there if you haven't already). The index.html is in the root of the zip, just as it is in the itch.io version.
Maybe I just suck, but the last level (from the screenshots) seems impossible to me, I feel like I have exhausted every combination haha. Fun Sokoban-like game!
Funny game, didn't really know what to do at first but figured it out. I also had some fun purposely soft-locking myself by accumulating a pile of "clones" beneath the spawn point. Also, it says "space to jump", but I can't jump? (not that it was needed)
The difficulty really ramps up in the third level! Simple but fun game. I like the "boss" and all the particle effects. The aim is a bit weird, I think the shots aim separate from the gun somehow (I can shoot perpendicular to the direction of the gun). Overall a nice game!
Simple but quite fun, I like the sound effects "blep burr" :)
Cool game, I am really bad at it though - the inbound packages get crazy quickly! I sometimes picked up and put down a package accidentally immediately again a few times. Perhaps a slight delay for that belt would help, or maybe I just need to git gud.
I was zooming for quite a while, and then got destroyed by a horde ghosts! Good job overall, the dialogue in the beginning could be slowed down a bit I think though.
Nice game, I wish there were more weapons, also I feel like the AR is better than the chaingun. Still, it got me to play all the way to the end, with the nice music and some good enemy variety!
Cool game, very ambitious. I did seems to get stuck somehow though, I had the "white" cargo but I couldn't deliver it at any location, even if it said it accepts "white" cargo on the map. Maybe I am just doing it wrong though!
Are the credits lost upon reset? Cool game otherwise though, the lighting is nice, could be a bit brighter though, it's a bit hard to see.
