The game doesn't load for me (firefox, windows), are you sure the WebGL export works? :(

Sorry, should work now
I think with a little bit of visual feedback it can be better. I do like the mystique of atmosphere of the game though with this pseudo-like horror style.
The top right thing where you're suppose to go was a neat touch, kinda wish it was a compass as an asset could lead to a nice feel to it :)
Ah good idea on the compass thing! I'd terrible at art but I think I'd be able to do something like that. Any suggestions for visual feedback? Thanks a bunch!
Somehow I won without doing anything except shoot a few aliens and I'm not sure how. :|
I won, yay! I like the inclusion of the tutorial area. Having multiple weapons is also nice. I found it easier to run past most enemies, though. Perhaps it would help if you had to stay in the range of the reactor to repair it?
Great game! good design on both enemies and weapons to deal with them, the art style was very nice although I did find myself shooting at doors I didn't notice were there. It was fun!
I dig the base concept. I really wanted to be able to pick up the grenade. Also, maybe a shotgun or 2nd type weapon would be good too instead of 2 handguns. I kept having my bullets get stuck in the wall collision. would be nice if the bullets flew past where I clicked instead of stopping on the ground. For some reason when I was trying to find the 3rd reactor the time ran out and it said that I won.
I finish the game. It looks good, and I enjoy it. I hope to see a complete game. It's really re-playable and can be expend as rougelike game.
Really liked the tutorial area, nice work on that! The controls felt a bit clunky, like the time between shots felt a bit long for example. Some visual and audio feedback on the reload would be a cool thing to implement. Overall nice work, congrats!
@Shadowmyst Perhaps when you shoot at an enemy, there's like a damage feedback to the enemy or highlighted around the edges for them. :)
Wow! thanks for all the feedback! Yeah controls def need some work to be smoother. I totally forgot about that grenade lol. And for sure need to seal off the reactors, way too easy to run past. There's actually a bug right now, if you die (ie. lose all your hearts) it'll change to the win screen instead of lose... whoops
There are 3 weapons in the game The handgun (you start with) The rifle And the assault rifle gotta find all of them though
@shade2810 I think there is a purple burst when that happens, but some additionally feedback would be def be a good idea!
I really enjoyed this game. The visuals are very simple but there's a lot of nice work that's gone into this game. It feels like Enter the Gungeon. I think this game is just lacking some polish, which is understandable given this is a game jam. With some polish I think this could be a great game. The arrow in the top right was a nice touch! And the tutorial area was a nice introduction to the game.
Hahahah that's exactly what I was aiming for. Very much inspired by Enter the Gungeon and Nuclear throne! Thanks for the feedback!
Nice game, gj!
I was waaaaayyyy too careful the first time I tried. Awesome alien infestation and needing to repair things. There were enough different enemies for it to be interesting. It took a minute to get used to the reload sound at the end of the reload. I wasn't sure I pushed it. Overall, good work!
Thanks! Yeah, each gun has a unique amount of time it takes to reload and the audio queue only plays once they've reloaded. Should've added audio for "starting to reload" and "finished reloading". Thanks for playing!
It has some flaws but overall...I liked it, nice job!
I like the timer constantly counting down, it adds a lot of priority to the main tasks. Really nice game, I had fun playing it!
This is a really solid entry, good job! The goals were clear, and the particle effect makes killing the aliens especially satisfying.
The "Defend yourself" hint in one of the early rooms confused me initially, especially given the presence of the tables on either side -- I felt like I was expected to prepare to defend myself *in that room*. I also tried shooting the table (given the earlier instruction to destroy tables) but nothing happened.
I also think music can make a lot of impact on the mood of a game. For Jam entries I'd recommend using some of the royalty-free music you can find online (e.g. [soundimage.org](soundimage.org)).
yep it was fun so i would like to ask for MORE BULLETS!
I liked the low key mood and I also really liked the help given in the beginning of play so you can learn the game as you play. I also thought the arrow in the upper right was a nice touch that really helps with a game like this that you want to pick up immediately.
The game very well tutorialized. I kind of get stuck when I run out of bullets
Nice pixel art!
nice work! impressive that you managed to get a whole tutorial built in in time
Very good game! Enemies are differents, weapons also. There is even a mecanism to exchange and make fall your weapon. Just for the timer, is it possible to earn some time? Good graphism also :) Thank you
