the reinforcement learning is cool, and the agents behave intelligently. a little bit light on interact-able system to call it a software toy imo, I'd call it more like a proof of concept or tech demo. movement controls are a bit loose for the speed and zoom level.

The concept is fun and it's a great demo. Not really a full game, but that's really a good job for a ludum dare.

That was an unexpected entry. You're definitely stretching the definition of the theme a bit but I'm down for that. Playing around was really fun, I love how confused the red team gets when you pick the blue flag back up.

Cool idea - I think this could be an interesting route to go down for a bigger game with more involved interactions. As it stands though, it's pretty easy to win by just grabbing your own flag and then letting your teammate do all the work while the red team just go around aimlessly - they don't seem to learn to chase after you if you have your own flag. As a tech demo it's pretty cool, but it's not the most fun game to play

I bet it has been a really great learning experience for you ! I really like the idea :) I think that some stuff to look at for future is a way better AI algorithm. I tested a few different scenarios and realized that the AI is only following a certain path without much pathfinding. For example I took our flag to some other part of the map and the AI was stuck there just looking at a blank space. With a different approach this game could be very fun and challenging ! Good job :)

hm in the post jam version my blue mates learned that we store the most easy points if we hand over the red flag to the red team and when they try to collect our flag, they actually score for us *G, my mates never learned that we can actually score ourselves
