Cool concept and very good execution. Smooth gameplay, but would have been nice with some sfx 8)

Fun game reminding me of a multiplayer game I used to play a lot in school a long time ago. I liked the build in tutorial. Towards the end I had to plan the position where I want to kill the enemies in order to get the healing blood not mixed with acid. The game could gain a lot from some audio.

locustjin 2021-04-27 14:33

Nice game, i like that you leave hint how to play on begining so there is no confiusion what to do. With sound and MainMenu it would be quite nice. Overall idea was good and gameplay is fun. Keep the good work!

Very fun game. I played it very much and I liked it! Thank you) Great job)

I enjoyed this game a lot. The mechanics are really nice. Avoiding the acid was hard at times but I made it all the way to bottom. Adding even a little bit of sound would really make this game feel great with a bit of juice. The mechanics are there and it plays good. Everything was readable to me on the screen. Having the tutorial right in the level made it easy to get into the action right away. It had a bit of challenge which made it feel good when actually get past that last area. Overall, really nice game! Good work and cheers!

Nice, fun little game! Just a little bit of sound would have been nice tho. Good work!

carpaccino 2021-04-27 22:05

I had a fun time playing this game

wolfier 2021-04-27 23:10

Wow that was a bit difficult at first before i realize that the acid goes away, then I realized the health also goes away which was making staying alive difficult since the acid and health were always overlapping each other.

You should definitely add sound and/or music to the game if you continue this it would give the game a lot more life.

I think you should make it so that the Ai doesn't start shooting you till your actually in the room with them since they are just constantly splattering the walls with acid.

It was quite short but definitely fun.

Had a lot of fun while playing!

foursay 2021-04-28 11:49

the mechanics of this game is simple but attractive for me! I enjoy my experience shooting and exploring around!

jarmustard 2021-04-28 11:49

Nice job! It was fully functional and fun to play. I especially liked how you'd accidently dig into an area you weren't expecting when you miss hitting the enemies. It might also be fun to have the enemies shots be able to dig a little to let it feel a bit more chaotic.

legolula 2021-04-28 12:05

The digging mechanics are super fun, some sfx would have been nice to make the gameplay even more satisfying but overall great entry

skvader-418 2021-04-28 12:33

i love the idea of destructable terrain and this game did it well, some sound effects would make it really awesome, the controls are easy to learn and easy to pick up, the acid lingers on for a bit too much so maybe shorten the acid life span but increase its damage, overall, a perfectly playable and enjoyable game, wich is the thing you should be going for in a game jam

pbg 2021-04-28 12:34

This was excellent! I love the free-form digging. I am a big fan! It WAS a little difficult to hit the bad guys, but whatever, I was able to beat it. Nicely done!!!

boxedmeatrevolution 2021-04-28 16:25

I saved them!

I had a lot of fun with this game! Destructible terrain was a great idea, and I had fun to strategizing about how to approach the enemies. I also thought that the "particle splash" of acid was a great idea. It makes for interesting combat, because you need to worry about where the particles will splash.

spiderbat2089 2021-04-28 16:30

It was very fun but it was hard hard to hit enemies and sometimes the character would just stop moving

cireneikual222464 2021-04-28 22:55

Something about the graphics appeals to me, reminds of Lemmings somehow. The splash management aspect was also pretty cool. I agree it could use some sound effects though!

fedegelo 2021-04-28 22:57

It's a lot of fun! The destruction is really well made, the weapon is satisfying, and the enemies feel like they take the exact amount of damage. The difficulty is also well paced, I made it with close to 0 health to the end. It's a shame that it has no sound, because it makes it a little bit difficult to realize when you are getting hit, but quite good overall!

miej 2021-04-29 07:05

well done! super impressive for such a short development timeframe. i could definitely see this concept getting expanded

jk5000 2021-04-29 18:34

This is an inserting and fun little game. I really had fun playing the game. Some music, sound effects, voice acting and music could have made it a even better game. But overall a good game. Well done.

jerbo 2021-04-29 19:40

I love destructable enviroments! I only wish that the enemy attacks despawned a little faster, I found myself waiting for it to despawn so I could rush and grab some hearts before they dissapeared! ^^ Really fun game!

sasashasa 2021-05-02 17:31

Cool game, but really not enough sound

tris250 2021-05-02 21:36

This game is pretty good, I had a lot of fun, however I regret that the arrow keys are not compatible (having an AZERTY keyboard) and that there is no music or sound effects in this game.

sn4pi 2021-05-03 10:33

Neat game overall. To me it was little to easy, even though I really liked the healing mechanic and the whole gameplay! It felt so good to dodge a bullet by digging down and then snipe these greenies afterwards. I think that a small blending effect would have made the poison particles look much more deadly and intimidating, though it's just a hunch.

Good job

Fun game. I liked the fact that you had destructible terrain, and it was really fun and satisfying to play this game; however, I found a few things that you can improve in your post-jam version, or in any other projects: 1. Some audio would be nice, since currently there are no sounds in this game. 2. Some particle effects will probably make the game more polished, and even more satisfying. 3. Maybe decreasing the cooldown for the weapon could make the game easier for some players like me.

I understand that this was made in a few days, but it would be nice to see these changes.
