Sprookies by tanis 2021-04-26T11:13:31Z

I like the idea. Moving the level to get around is a cool mechanic. The sounds and music were very humorous :). I feel like the controls should be slightly more responsive. They felt almost sluggish sometimes. I also died and it reset me to the beginning. All in all good job!

The Fall by sawtan 2021-04-26T17:16:29Z

I made it to hell! Absolutely gorgeous art. The audio and the art really set the mood for it. It felt really good. I loved how the further you fell the background bodies(?) changed to a green. A good variety of mechanics while falling broke up some of the repetitiveness. I wish the combat was more engaging somehow as it left me wanting to do more.

I did die once and was wondering why my sword was so short :). I made it to the throne on the second try. Those floating ball things almost got me on the second try. I enjoyed my fall to hell. Overall, a great little game. Good job!

Bunker Björn by phantom-lab 2021-04-27T00:26:47Z

Great game! I really loved the shooting. It felt very satisfying to just shoot it even at a wall :). Nicely done atmosphere as well. I felt like I was actually in some old dark bunker trying to find my way through. I also liked the camera perspective it was set at. Are the levels randomly generated? As I got further down into the bunker the rooms seemed to have gotten a little more repetitive. I ended up at around level 11 before I stopped. Overall, I enjoyed it. Great work and cheers!

Nuclear blaze by deepnight 2021-04-26T17:28:08Z

The game feel is just amazing. I feel like I can always tell when it's a deepnight game just based on the character movement alone. The artwork and level is extremely polished and looks great. The fire and water mechanics is very nice and impressive as well. As other people have said, too bad for no audio. That would have really "put me" inside of a raging inferno. Overall awesome job! I enjoyed it.

DEEP DIVE IN USSR by vlandemart 2021-04-27T12:36:16Z

A nice and short game. The level looked really good. The lighting and the camera perspective was very good. It is a great style and I love it.

As others have said, just a bit more polish on some of the core features would have went a really long way. Juicing up some of those hits or the shooting would make it feel really satisfying. You already have a nice art style, that extra bit of juice would really make it.

Overall, it is a nice game and I enjoyed the little play-through :). Good job to you all and cheers!

The Frozen Deep by Mads 2021-04-27T00:59:53Z

Cool game. Johnny Deep is a great name :). The level turning mechanic is awesome. I was confused for a bit but I ended up completing it after little while. The artwork looks great. I wish that the minimap would've spun with the level sometimes. I ended up going in circles a lot because I didn't release I was just flipped around. Overall really great atmospheric game that was challenging but worth it. Great job and cheers!

Dig Dig Dig by Chirichirichiri 2021-04-26T16:55:34Z

Cool little game. I like the idea. Reminds me of digging in something like Terraria. My first reaction was to want to go and explore more down in some of those little caverns. I didn't realize at first that going sideways for more ore "hurts" the player :). I just wanted more gold. The audio and graphics sounded and looked good as well. Great job!

Fishing the Depths by aplite 2021-04-26T11:31:29Z

I love these type of games. They are addicting to me. This was a good one. I feel, if it were juiced up and the default speed of the cast were a lot quicker, would really help the game give it that extra oomph to make it feel great. Overall, fun game I enjoyed it :). It sure does get really dark when you get deep into the water.

Ropedive by lootgrounds 2021-04-27T12:16:28Z

Really well done. A lot of juice in this game which makes moving around feel really good. The sounds are great. I wish the music had a more energetic tone then I would really feel like I was a badass roping down some cave.

The artwork is great. Really good readability on the screen. I love the innovation and the variety of obstacles. I think it was just about the perfect amount of variety for the amount of levels. The movement felt nice too.

One minor thing like another person before has said, once I got the dash I hardly ever used the jump mechanic. I would just dash to the other side almost every time. And when I did want to jump I always confused myself and ended up getting hurt. And maybe all it would take is changing the keybinding.

Overall, if there were more levels I'd still be playing it :). I didn't see any bugs for level 5 on my end since I was able to beat it. Maybe I missed it but every thing seemed to play well! Great work, very nice game, and cheers!

The Long Walk by SquareBoxCompany 2021-04-27T01:46:41Z

I like the idea. Looting and finding stuff is great. The graphics are nice as well. The sprites look great.

I was pretty lost pretty much the entire time. I couldn't find the killer again after I found the gun and bullets. I went through the door a whole ton of times unfortunately he never appeared. As others have pointed out, items in the room moved around each time I went through the door which was very jarring to me. I think the looting mechanic needs some feedback on if the player didn't find anything. I wasn't sure if I was still looting or if it bugged out.

But overall I think you have a good base of a game that could be something really solid if you iron out a bunch of these kinks. I think the premise of what it should be sits well with me and would be something I would really enjoy. But you did get the game out in 48 hours and for that I say good job and congratulations! That is not an easy feat! Cheers.

Into The Depths by Nisovin 2021-04-26T11:42:40Z

A great game. Everything seems well polished. The controls feel responsive. The sounds and music play in nice overall. I could not for the life of me get passed 860m. I was always breathing a sigh of relief every time I got through those narrow passages :). Fun game I enjoyed it a lot!

Deep digger by phoenix-gi 2021-04-26T13:29:01Z

I scored a 172. There are a lot of killer miners! I just wanted the gems for myself! Nice game. Everything worked the way I expected. Pretty awesome that it's with your own game engine. Good work!

Soul Catcher by DragonsBeardGames 2021-04-26T12:11:52Z

Really great game. Absolutely hilarious how they fall down. I think the build I went with was a little overpowered!

I had two guys: first guys was just pure damage skills and the second guy was pure healing skills. They were completely unstoppable. Each level took only a few seconds. The first guy two hit the 2nd boss.

Overall fun game and I enjoyed it a lot! Good work :).

Pipeline Traveler by PD Dev 2021-04-26T23:58:44Z

Cool game. Those rats (or mice?) are hide to get by sometimes :). I didn't realize there was a hide ability after a while (I should've read your site more thoroughly), but I ended up figuring it out what it did. I always tried to avoid the green cheese as much as possible but sometimes it seems the only way through was to eat the green cheese. Good job on the level generation though overall! As other had said, a grid system would work wonders for a game like this. I did like the movement speed of the mouse. I felt it was at a good spot. Enough speed to risk it for the biscuit sometimes (before I knew about the hiding ability) to get through. Good work and cheers!

Goblin Heist by Halberd 2021-04-27T01:32:15Z

I enjoyed this game a lot. Great artwork and audio. Terrific level design with all the goblin patterns. It was challenging but not impossible. Really great work there. The only thing I would say is I feel that the score depletion was a little harsh for getting caught. I was at zero for most of the game :). Would be a really great game to try to speed run though since everything has a specific pattern. Overall, great game I enjoyed it a lot. Really great work. Cheers!

Gregory`s Mine by _pilcrow 2021-04-26T23:31:40Z

A nice atmospheric little game. A very nice art style. Great audio too which really helped set the mood. I was hoping to find out what killed all the people since it seems to abruptly end. Almost like a cliffhanger :). Nice job!

Elemantic by nohac 2021-04-27T11:59:09Z

Really nice game. The artwork is well done. I love the buff system and combining the scrolls. I kept wanting to save them and add them all up so I was super buff. I kept getting lots of speed scrolls so I was really zooming around. The music was nice but for a game like this I kinda expected maybe something not as calming. Not sure what exactly. If there were some sounds and it was a tiny bit more juiced up the "game feel" would be really nice. Some feedback on when the player hits and critical hits. Things like that. The different spells and monster weaknesses was a nice touch.

Overall, really nice job. I played it for awhile until I died and re-spawned at the top. My water spell was strong and I was a fast boy. Also, kudos for being a Godot game :). Cheers!

Deep Below Ground by v0idpointer 2021-04-26T16:45:46Z

A nice little game. I ended up going to level 52 before I stopped. Not sure how long it goes or if it goes on forever. The spells are great. I used all the spell books. I ended up sticking with fire the most because I was running out of mana very fast with the other three. I liked the light book best though. The fire eyeball spell was OP. Not sure if there was supposed to be a cooldown on it or not but I was able to use it in almost every room :). It would get stuck on the white chests though for some reason.

The art looks good and the sounds were great. I liked the little backstory to it as well. I enjoyed playing it. Great job!

Sweet Dreams by LeHaine 2021-04-26T19:39:06Z

Thanks all who has played so far and to those who have left feedback!

@phoenix-gi Thanks for playing! Yes, it was written in Kotlin as a multiplatform project which can build to JS, JVM, Native, and mobile. I only built it for JS and the JVM.

@lee-reilly That is awesome! Thanks a lot!

I'm So Deep by liammasters 2021-04-27T11:36:03Z

Hilarious. Had me laughing how he just rolls on in. I also suck at poetry. Cool idea!

Deepest Mine by SmelJey 2021-04-26T12:27:08Z

Not sure why but the game doesn't open for me :(. It seems to start up (at least it shows that in the task manager) but nothing displays. Any ideas? I would like to give this game a try!

Deepest Mine by SmelJey 2021-04-26T14:13:41Z

@smeljey The WebGL version works! As for specs I am just using Windows 10, AMD CPU, NVIDIA GPU. I am using a 4k monitor as well - not sure if that may affect it.

**As for some feedback:**

A lot of what others said. I didn't know that the miners were actually mining until after a few minutes. I like these type of games of collecting resources and protecting your "base". I like the idea. Lots of mechanics in this game which is cool. I was quickly overrun with enemies. My "guard" dwarves ended up running away from the base chasing enemies. I do like that you can see the enemy glowing in green when near. Especially when they were around a wall. Gave me time to rally the guards.

But overall its a nice game with cool mechanics. Parroting what other people have said, given more time and polish, this would be very solid game! Great job and congratulations. :)

Not The Urchins! by Cammin 2021-04-26T13:57:22Z

I agree what others had said about the music and light. It really helps set the mood of everything. It actually feels like you are going deeper into the waters :). Great game and great work!

Blue Beetle by Lélek Hunor Kadosa 2021-04-27T17:41:44Z

I enjoyed this game a lot. The mechanics are really nice. Avoiding the acid was hard at times but I made it all the way to bottom. Adding even a little bit of sound would really make this game feel great with a bit of juice. The mechanics are there and it plays good. Everything was readable to me on the screen. Having the tutorial right in the level made it easy to get into the action right away. It had a bit of challenge which made it feel good when actually get past that last area. Overall, really nice game! Good work and cheers!

Sorry mate. The windows build didn't load up for me either :(. I put notifications on for this comment if you get it working let me know I'll come back and rate it! :)
