Yep, big Fez vibes, but something is off. I think it needs a little more of a wide angle for the flipping to work. Tight spaces and spinning were harsh on my eyes. Very innovative, though!
Fun game, though I think a 3d compas in the corner would have helped out a lot in understanding how the map works. The 2d map for 3d space just didn't click for me. Great idea and love the game!
Wow gorgeous game. Controls feel smooth, rotating world puzzle mechanic was super slick and felt like you made good use of it. Not totally sure how the 2D map maps to this space but I'm super glad that y'all implemented it, helped me figure out that I was turned around a number of times.
Very good game! The use of perspective to turn around and see a new way to go through the tunnels is absolutely great! Art style is nice, audio could be a bit better, the use of leaderboards is very nice as well. Great job!
Wow, that was an unexpected turn... :D Good job and I enjoyed the story as well.
I wish your leaderboard held more than 5 slots, I think I would have been 6th lol
really neat! It reminds me of an old flash game I played where you look at many 1-D slices of pictures, and need to piece them together in your mind and figure out what the full 2-D picture is. A few thoughts: * The map seemed like it would be confusing if I paid attention to it, so I ignored it. * I didn't like that one big gap that you had to jump precisely for; I expected to need to use my Q/E ability somehow but nope actually it was just a precise timing thing. But the note beforehand was good; if it hadn't been there, I probably would have gone backtracking looking for something else * I was a bit confused by the items in the background -- they didn't look visually distinct from the items that I was able to pick up.
Thanks for the game, nice job!
Cool game. Johnny Deep is a great name :). The level turning mechanic is awesome. I was confused for a bit but I ended up completing it after little while. The artwork looks great. I wish that the minimap would've spun with the level sometimes. I ended up going in circles a lot because I didn't release I was just flipped around. Overall really great atmospheric game that was challenging but worth it. Great job and cheers!
Very cool idea to have a platformer with a rotating 3D environment! Took a second to get the hang of but I think it is really interesting.
Super cool idea and implementation. At a certain point I did have some framerate issues but they cleared up really quick so I don't know what caused them (it was pretty soon after getting the rocket boots I believe). Good humor with the notes. I found your music to have an appropriate level of drone to it (it worked well with the ice caves and such).
Impressive concept, but I stuck somewhere and didn't managed to get to the exit. Anyway, nice game. Visuals and sounds are amazing
The map is confusing but other than that it's a great maze game.
The ambience is so great! The music, plus the color scheme plus the scrolls for the notes, I got immersed in this game before I realized it. The 3d rotation mechanic is super neat and looks beautiful when you activate it. The player character looks a little incongruous with the rest of the style, but not jarringly so. I also wish the minimap was more useful, I got lost before I finished the game, but I'm bookmarking to come back later
well done bro, it's a little difficult to me. but i love this game.
Interesting mechanic the labrinth is really well made, loved the visuals and sfx!great job!
Love this game, very good idea! It feels like getting lost.
Loved the concept, let's hope I hold my spot on the leaderboard.
Half the time I didn't know what I was doing, but the game has a really unique and fun mechanic!
@g11 and @timeloopedpowergamer Yea. Never played Fez, but the mechanic is very similar. My head is still spinning from designing levels :) Thanks for your feedback.
@maxwell3000 We actually had a compass at some point, but scraped it after play test feedback. Maybe we could have found a better implementation. Thanks for your feedback.
@nick-barrash Thanks for your feedback. The mini map was one of the biggest headaches we had, and was work in progress until the very end. Glad it helped you out :) Leaderboard should hold 9 places. Give it another go if you like. You're gonna go faster next time. Enable "Speed run mode" in Options to see your time during play. Good luck.
@thatanonoword Glad you had fun. Thanks for the feedback and congratulations on your highscore  Impressive time!
@pancelor Thanks for the feedback. The mini map could definitely be improved. We tried to teach the player more and more, so a more simple long jump came before having to turn in the air and stuff. The interactable models could definitely have been made to stand out more visually. Congratulations on a great time - 3rd place as of now
@lehaine If you wanna take another go, you'll find that we modelled him like a low poly Jack Sparrow to. The player was supposed to be named Justin Deeper, be we didn't have time to implement it in the story :) Thanks for playing and congratulations on your highscore spot.
@frompdx Thanks for your feedback.
@theseusinabottle Glad you liked the game. As of this moment your hold the top spot on the leaderboard. Well done indeed. Thanks for playing and providing feedback.
@smeljey Sad to hear you got stuck. It gets tricky after the first big jump. Give it another go if you have time... you'll figure it out I'm sure
@john-llyod-apolo We would definitely had loved to spent more time on the mini map. It was difficult enough figuring our the world in 3d space, but making a 2d map of it was a headscratcher we didn't manage to work out completely. Thanks for your feedback.
@aditya-kumar We tried hard to get a consistent art style, and maybe we could have spent more time on the character and the mini map. Thanks for playing.
@dreamer Definitely not easy, but should manageable if you put your head to it
@superfishboy Hopefully you didn't get too lost down there. Thanks for playing.
@nerobius Glad you liked it. Thanks for playing and congratulations on your highscore. Still in 4th as of this moment
@save-sloth-studios Do any of us really know what we're doing  Glad you liked the game and thanks for the feedback.
Loved the concept, I thought I got the hang of it right up until the very end in that type of large opening you see.
I really love the simplicity of the aesthetic overall, even though it was confusing how to traverse the stage.
My one criticism is regarding the audio and music. I would have other audio queues and textures that make it feel more dynamic. Having drones is cool, and it certainly does the job of giving you anxiety, but it's starts getting too tiring, repetitive and predictable after the second loop or third loop. Also, the music and the sound sort of merged together in terms of mix, which made it difficult to appreciate the two.
I really appreciated the map! Showing me if I was progressing or going back. Incredibly infuriating at times, but overall a fun experience!
Really solid stuff and worth continuing post game jam! Please check out and rate our game as well!!
What I liked: - graphics - sounds - advice from that Johnny Deep guy - The effects when turning the world around
What I didn't care too much for: - How hard it was to wrap my head around where I was. I couldn't figure out where I was supposed to go next
Awesome game!
love the artstyle really creative to have this rotate to change view function though can easily get lost if not following the dialouges
I love how well this mechanic works, once you have figured out that the map is top down. Maybe being able to get a 3D representation of the map would have made it a little easier to wrap your head around where you are. Other than that this was a super solid game!
I love how you can rotate the level. The graphics are beautiful and the game keeps a very nice atmosphere. I got stuck in a loop after the large opening and couldn't figure out where to go next. Sorry, Johnny.
Really nice mechanic, but was lost most of the time. Not even sure if I completed it or not. Got the rocket boots and somehow ended up back at the begining.
Really nice game !
So hard to orient with map rotations. But camera rotation looks really nice.

love it!
Awesome game, really liked the unique 3d in 2d mechanic, unfortunately I couldn't get past here:

@ogelgames You are not far from the end there. You need to get down one of the chutes on the sides. This is done by rotating the map, WHILE you fall out from the channel on the top. Good luck. Hope to see you on the leaderboard
@javier-belmer Unfortunately the music was a bit of an afterthought. Our usual composer (me) was too hung up on animations and UI this time, so all I had time for was some drones. Thanks for the feedback though... hope you liked the game anyway
@bradur Glad you liked it. Even us devs get lost in these caves sometimes  Thanks for the feedback.
@seng-yong Thanks for your feedback. Hope you got unlost agiain
@andidebob The map was definitely one of the hardest parts to do. From the feedback we've gotten, you seem to have gotten a long way even figuring out it was top down. I played briefly with a 3D map idea, where it was an overlay you could toggle and rotate, but we didn't really have time to explore it. Thanks for your feedback!
@thejonu Johnny accepts your apology :) Thanks for the feedback.
@ehtd Getting lost is inevitable I guess. If you ended up where you started after getting the boots, you may be one of the lucky few who found the Credits ester egg. Good job! :) Thanks for playing
@nyanpierre @morricore @janures Thanks for playing :sunglasses:
Heyo, thanks for submitting your game to the stream the other day! Here's the vod if ya wanna rewatch, I hope my feedback was helpful!

@justcamh Thanks for playing. Really enjoyed watching you play. Great stream!
Very cool game, enjoyed it a lot!
@kuviman Thanks for playing - and especially for trying out the Speed run on stream. Congratulations on 3rd place :) Learned a lot from watching you play. Great stream! https://www.twitch.tv/kuviman
What an amazing mechanic. When I first saw it, I thought it would be like Fez, but it scratches a totally different itch. The art styling and music make for an immersive eerie but fun environment. It got difficult quickly for me, but being a jam game and the play time being understandably short, I think the devs did a good job of creating a nice difficulty curve. Controls are tight, and I didn’t notice any bugs if there were any. Thanks so much for bringing this game by my stream. Here's a link to the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1005666495?t=0h1m52s
@ramble-house-games Thanks for playing and for the feedback. Really enjoyed watching you play and learned a lot too. Great stream by the way. I watched you play a bunch of other games on stream too, and had a lot of fun 🤩
really neat game! webgl version was a bit laggy tho, would be great if there was a downloadable build!
@miej Thanks! We've added a download for Windows in case you would like to try again!
Great execution! Just imagine some physics-based puzzles with this camera effect.
Here is my playthrough:

@icxon It was fun and informative watching your play through. Struggled the right places I think, but you quickly found the solutions. Well played and thanks for the feedback
