Feels real immersive - liked the voice in the background with the music. Aloso shooting felt pretty good.
Liked the mood of the game. The spaceman jumping animation is nice. Shooting behind is not possible, and I don't know if it's voluntary or not, but it doesn't feel intuitive. If you did it all by yourself, congrats, the graphics are pretty cool!
The game is very nice ! I think it's ambitious to have made a metroidvania and you did it well ! I'll start with the small negative points: - I find the realistic gun sound a bit weird in the universe - I find the realistic backgrounds a bit weird too compared to the rest which is cartoon, the background with the stars is a bit too bright, the stars should be less clear because the background is more contrasted than the game plan. - There is a small bug: when you take gems in a zone, the score restarts from 0. - There are a few apparent lines due to the sprites I think. These are really minor things actually.
There are a looot of good things: the controls are nice, there are several types of enemies, there are cool abilities to find, there is a storyline. I like the squishy character and enemy animations and I really like all the feedback and VFX. The music adds a lot to the atmosphere. In short, the game is super complete with a lot of content and without bugs, top! 👌

I like the animation on the main character, it feels quite organic. Was a fun little metroidvania! The one thing that was a bit annoying was the aiming of the character, where it wouldn't turn the character around automatically when trying to shoot backwards.
I like very much metroidvania games like. Very good!! I play and i like very much flying with jetpack eheheheh make the game more easy. But when i flying i stuck on the collider and I never got out again kkkk!!! Very good game!!! BUG.png

I love how bouncy the animation is! Movement with the jetpack was really fun. Also the fog and lighting really delivers on the atmosphere. Good job!

@plepletier oh no!! hahaha I played it a lot and didn't get stuck. that's why feedback is so good! I don't know if updating the game is allowed after the submission deadline, so I will fix it after the jam.

@pixelipy @pixelipy Rlx, I believe that the game is well polished and what happened to me must have been something very rare ehhehee I was looking for secret passages >.< Going towards the walls to see if there were any false ones.

The mood, the floatiness was very nice, but controlwise I would have liked to look/shoot one way but move the other. That got some time to get used too. Also do the red barrels just not explode? The music and artstyle were nice though :)
That was very nice! The mood was good, and the progression really worked. It wasn't very hard but it wasn't boring either and I really wanted to stay until the end!
There seems to be something wrong with the jump sound (I think it's just playing the jetpack sound for a fraction of second). I was also confused by the red blocks which looked like lava so I floated above them (since jetpack is unlimited) until I saw enemies walking on it. Also the main menu incorrectly says RMB to shoot (it's LMB).
@ancient-pixel thank you for your feedback! Yeah, I should have implemented the look at the cursor thingy,it would make the game much better. I'll do that after the jam. Also, the red barrels do explode! But you have to find out how :))
@remram44 thank you for your feedback! Yeah the jump sound is also bugging me. I'll fix it. Also yeah, I think I made the tiles more red than they should, it could give the wrong impression. Thanks for playing it :D

Good game! I played the whole way through and quite enjoyed it! Nicely polished & tested feel to it! Tiny bug i found was there is no ceiling on the start level, so you can fly up and up forever haha but thats all :spy: good job!

Finished! I have a strong Metroid(vania) vibe here - great mood. The only thing I don't like is I can't target backwards - defeats the whole point of mouse targeting :)
I really loved this game! What a great ambience, you even got powerups! I was so hyped after I got the charged shot like what else will be in this game? Also is 5360 the max score? I really explored the whole map twice and couldn't find any other treasures :thinking:
Even though really nice entry! Enemies could have been a little more difficult in my opinion but that's just the icing on the cake :wink:
Very smooth aiming controls and overall very responsive. I like the mood and your take on how to go deeper and deeper. I agree I wish I could target the full screen but in reality we can only shoot forward so why not let that be for this, no?

Very nice job here! You really nailed the Metroidvania aesthetic here. I weirdly loved how the jetpack didn't have any cap on it. Would be interesting to see how levels could be designed to better accommodate that so I'm not able to just Kirby around the map :smile:
