is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of lateral movement? great job on the level generation
Yeah, definitely really sensitive on the side motion! LOL But I liked the pixel art!!! Great game! :)
Fun little game. Character moves really fast and it's pretty easy to end up in a hole you have to bomb yourself in. Still worth a play. Nicely done!
Nice game. the horizontal movement is a bit sensitive and hard to control. Half the time I would get stuck in a 1x1 and be forced to bomb myself out lol.
Great Game for the first time and in a limited timeframe! It has some kind of puzzle element where you have to choose were to go to not have to blow yourself up. I liked that. As the others said, the lateral movement is a bit hard to control. Maybe snapping to a grid would have worked better. Good Job on your first jam!
Nice jam! For a first jam with only a few hours of work this is good! Indeed some sounds and music are missing.
controls are a little wonky but impressive for 16 hours, wish it had sound
Cool concept. I only managed to win after a few tries just for it to say NullReferenceException, very funny. Not being able to throw the bomb toward a direction is kind of a bummer and a randomly generated terrain doesn't always work for these kind of puzzles. Controls and some minor problems are holding it back but the puzzle element is there. Very good try for your first game jam.
I liked the concept too, and the fact the level stayed the same after dying was pretty cool. I feel the gravity should have been a little stronger, and I wish there was a jump ability to avoid getting stuck in little rock wells.
Initially i didnt know what the keys where as i tend not to read the game descriptions before playing or what i was meant to be doing but after a bit a managed to figure it out. With some more work (animation / sound / control scheme) this would be a good little digger game. Nice work.
Nice concept, movement is a little quick and I can't help but think that the game could benefit from allowing you to jump.
➕ great theme fit
➕ simple but cool mechanics combination
➕ good graphics
➖ bugged movement
➖ no progress metric
Yea you could make control less sensitive, but otherwise good game
I liked the name for the game and the difficulties!
I think the movement would have worked better as tile-based instead of linear.
All the same, good job putting out a game with the limited time you had! Congratulations
Cool game. I would really appreciate visual feedback for what the player actions are doing to the environment.
