This is one of my favourite games so far. Well done!

This is one of my favourite games so far. Well done!
I like this game very much. The Art is a Little simplistic, but thats okay for that Kind of game. Maybe add some events like natural flood or earthquake or meteor. Well done!
Cool, fun game. Loved playing it. Maybe you could make the jetpack a little faster. Anyways, keep doing what you're doing.
Very nice graphics. Very simple yet difficult gameplay. I just think it's a little frustrating. Anyway, Great Work!
The game itself is pretty well made, but it could do with some graphics.
Awesome art and music! It's just over so fast :(. I like it really much. Good Job!
Cool game. Just the Controls are a little irritating.
Great game with great controls. One Thing: The hits on the enemies seem a little empty, maybe add a sound or something. Nice Job.
I'm sorry, but it seems to be not very functional :( Unbena3nnt.PNG
@UnityMenmber I tried this multiple times and then gave up. Maybe my Computer doesn't support something. Anyway, I hope it's good :)
Cool idea, but you can just sit in one place and in the next iteration move to another one.
Cool game. Only thing I can complain: The Jumping. Good Job!
Thank you very much for your feedback.
Actually, we have an upgrade-system implemented. Just pause and upgrade. Hope you enjoy :) @jeke
We know. That's why you are running out of space when the core gets attacked. :) @SkyreX
@ezra-lafleur You don't see the skip button? Otherwise, just try to use an other browser or reload the page.

Thank you all so much for your kind Feedback! We really found it helpful. So we tried to include all your suggestions as best as possible in our version 2.0:

These are all only minor tweakings, but we hope you enjoy anyway!
The graphics are really awesome and the gameplay is simple yet difficult. It would be way more fun with Sound i think. Good Work!
I like the shader and the concept very much, but it's too confusing for me ;)
Nice game with interesting art. Cluttering was annoying, but you already took care of that.
Very cool game. Not more to say.
A really fun game. Awesome artwork! Well done guys. And all this in just 72 hours. Impressive!
Very satanic game with very very good graphics. The Solutions to the riddles seemed just a little abitrary to me. I mean, the leather whip, seriously? But I liked it anyway. Great Job!
Your idea definetly worked out. Very creepy game. Could use some music for the mood though.
Poor chickens. Nice Work!
Nice Game. Yeah. Nothing more to say.
I quite like it. It's pretty difficult, especially if your stamina gets to low. Maybe some powerups or special abilities would have been nice. Great Work anyways!
One of the best games I have seen so far. Great Work!
Quite Fun and interesting concept. I just find the controlls a little wanky, but thats probably desired. Also the music is pretty repetitive after some time. Great work though.
@loligxp @theboss12 @jgower0502 @amastryukov @figglewatts @sukantapatra @antti-haavikko @digitallimestone @kaisenthegreatone
Thank you all for playing my game and leaving kind words, but also criticism. The intro-too-long thing is always my Problem. I promise: wont happen next time.
IMPORTANT:
Just a thing I wanted to add: The game is not actually meant to just 'slice Zombies indefinetly'. The Goal is to have 50 Zombies on screen without beeing destroyed. I understand why the success may have come out of the blue. Maybe a progress bar or something would have helped. Always smarter afterwards.
Thats the most absurd game Ive ever played. I love it. Great job!
Poor Bob. I killed all of him. Really great idea!
Nice game. One thing: When I approached the limit, I cept sacrificing until I had -80 Wealth. Then they chopped my head off. Ungrateful people!
I just get an error when I try to open it. :( I would have liked to play. Maybe I'll try later again.
@digitallimestone Nevermind. Now it works. Quite fun game to Play, but I think I found a bug: when you die (which I did) the doors dont open as soon as you killed the slime thingy. Also, I found it a bit hard to grasp what exactly the Cards do at the beginning. Anyway, great work!
Sorry I couldnt try again sooner, was a busy week.
Nice. Music repeats after some play-time.
Really nice game! One of my favorites so far. I just found really annoying that you have to press the arrow keys each step. Great Work though.
Nice game. I just couldnt buy a new anvil after they took mine :(. Also, one skeletton tried to steal iron, although I didnt have any. That was a little weird. The rest was great though. And really cool graphics.
You made a very nice game! It's very fun to play. Congrats!
Well, I liked it. Funny and challenging. I really liked that you play the villain for once. Well, not voluntarily, but what did I have for a choice? I had to defend myself, they wouldn't listen to me! Oh, those poor dead heroes.
You could totally make this work as a commercial game. I love it! Best game I've played this Ludum Dare so far. I really like that this puzzle game really has you thinking, something not particularly many can do all the time.
Winter is here... Absolutely amazing art and music! Gameplay comes a little short, feels more like a story, but who said that that is a bad thing, right?
I like the dark feel and the graphics of your game very much. It just gets a bit repetitive after a while - loot the contruction site - sell - repeat - and I didn't notice a goal, you work for. It's just: Get more money. I suppose thats what its like in the real world. Overall good game. Good work!
Good work. I liked the idea, the minimalistic graphics and the music very much. However, I found that picking up the money spheres kind of feels unresponsive and gets a bit repetitive after a while. Maybe some power-ups or something similar? I also had a few crashes when I tried to enter the dungeon (Null Reference Exception). Fortunatly, the money I gathered so far was safed, but my hired heroes were not. I felt a bit bad for killing my entire adventure party every time I went into the dungeon, so maybe an exit-mechanic would be a nice thing to have. You have created a very enjoyable game. With a bit of tweaking and polishing, I think it would even make a commercial one. Overall a good game.
One of the best games I have seen so far! I really like it. The art and music are incredible. I eventually stopped playing, because I have to get some things done. This is what I ended up with: Screen.PNG
I think it would be more challenging if you had to place all these buildings you get. You can just ignore the dangerous ones.
Anyway, really cool game. Good Work!
I really liked the audio. The blocky graphics do actually fit very well, too. My biggest issue was the jumping (or my skill if you see it like that) which felt kind of frustrating. I especially liked the little details like the corn behind the pillar. Overall a nice horror-platformer game. Good Work!
Many hamsters died... We could only save a few and those who were saved were as stupid as normal. Screen2.PNG
Really funny and fun to play. One objection though: I think you have to wait too long for the hamsers to all walk to the end of the path. Maybe add some time-warp or something similar. It would maybe be enough to rescue 3 or 2 hamsters. The music felt a little bit repetitive. All in all, I think this could be made a good commercial game.
P.S.: I discovered these two fun bugs: Screen1.PNG
Anyway, great game!
I really liked your game. Good graphics and interesting mechanics. At the beginning, I was a little confused, because I thought that you are supposed to command the people. When I figured the controls out, I ended up with -66 fod :) Maybe next time add a tutorial explaining the control, not just the mechanics (which was nontheless very useful and well integrated into the game). Overall good game.
Good work. I really enjoyed the graphics and the puzzles, but as congusbongus just said, they involved much trial and error. Maybe a way to solve this would be an indicator, how far you can travel or planning your route in advance. Overall very good game.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ScreenAnts.PNG
I like your game. It's a cool idea and feels responsive. It is also not too easy nor to hard. However I would have liked to be able to adjust the rate at which my ants spawn: more warriors, less workers (as you can probably tell from the picture). Overall a fun and good game.
@toppervideogames Thanks for your feedback! A simple strategy for having a positive score I used when testing is having a button which makes you go three steps. Tutorials always were and always will be my weakness :)
@despdair I thought about only using the 'commands' (step, turnLeft, turnRight), because these are really all you need. I just added the 'essential commands' (no idea why I called the bonus commands essential) for an extra dimension, because I thought it was a bit boring with just three commands. So now its kind of similar to machine language. As I said, nobody has to use them, but you can make loops and so on (as demonstrated in the menu) with them.
**If anyone has trouble with the commands, read what I just wrote to despdair.**
@rolly ... I didn't actually check this after implementing. Just pretend you are looking from behind.
@nikita-demidov I agree and I considered it, but no time. If I ever come back to this game, this will definitly be one of the first things on my to-do list.
@zuf Thanks for the detailed feedback!
The script looks good. Better than mine for testing :). What was your score?
``` #A# step
#B# turnLeft
#C# step step step ``` (my testing script)
The line numbers are really annoying, I know. I nearly wasted the whole first day on them and they are not what I hoped for.
Scrolling in the editor should be supported, that's why I got these in-text-field line numbers in the first place; I just couldn't get the scrolling to work right.
YES, detecting obstacles, that was my next big goal. Unfortunatly, no time.
I used `st` and `jmp` because I thought it would make it more similar to assembly language and I honestly didn't want to programm a whole complier. You are of course right nonetheless. It would have turned out way better with functions, error highlighting, better syntax and all that good stuff.
Maybe I'll make a post-jam version when I find time and then your suggestions are definetly in there.
@selkkie Thanks! I always have problems with people not immediately understanding my game :). There is something to watch out for next time.
I actually considered having the button functionality linked with the keyboard, but then I was too lazy :P
Happy you liked it.
@envy-softworks No problem;
stars, stars, STARS!!!!
Love it! Really cool idea! I found the collisions a bit wacky, but otherwise awesome game.
Good work. I especially liked the small details such as the 'my dreams' file in the bin. There were a few minor bugs, I could for example load level 3 before level 2 and had to restart, because level 3 was not loading. Overall good game.
That's absolutely amazing! I really like the art, the level design, the mechanics and everything else. Some suggestions I am sure were mentioned before, but I'll give them anyway, because I'm to lazy to read through all the comments - you do that: - Faster Movement or Upgrades - Feedback -> this includes some kind of flashing animation when you hit enemies (when fighting the final final boss I was totally ready to keep shooting him for an hour or so, a lifebar would've been neat now that I think about it) and more soundeffects - Music (just makes your game that much more atmospheric than it already is)
As I said, just absolutely amazing, especially for a first jam!
Love it. I really like that you have to control your own temperature. A few partilces for collisions would have been nice, but not necessary. Great work!
(I had a weird blue thing appearing in the corners of the screen, other than that no issues. I think it might be due to the texture beeing not big enough.) Screen.PNG
I like it. The idea is really great, but I think it has some balancing issues. I placed _to many_ fish and ran out of sand. Luckily, you can somehow generate sand by placing it and picking it up. This is what I ended up with: Screen3.PNG
Maybe some way to destroy structures would be nice. Anyway, good work!
Nice! That is a really good game-jam game. I see potential. Very much of it. It already looks like a commercial game. My tip: Make it commercial.
I like the premise of the game. I just feel like there is not enough of an incentive to cut down trees. They stand in the way, so I found myself strolling around looking for a spot where I could fit through them (which I could not), occasionally picking up wood for a fire. Music and sounds would have added a lot to the mood. Overall a fairly polished game for a game jam and a nice experience.
This game is quite well made, I think. At first, I killed every guard and tried to not get hit but after a while, I just went straight through to the briefcases. The only thing that I did not like was that there was not much of an incentive to kill guards who have seen you, because you could just run away and let them shoot the wall. The sound does not get any quieter as you move away, so that might be the incentive to kill them ;)
Overall, a quite fun game with a fairly big map for a game jam.
Sherlock Worm is my new favourite worm. I loved the animation in the beginning but then I had trouble making it far until I noticed that what I thought were spikes were actually speed boosts. Really nice game for a game jam. Good Job!
I love the art style and super-polished look! A bit higher jumps would be nice, but thats just my personal preference. Great Job!
Great Game for the first time and in a limited timeframe! It has some kind of puzzle element where you have to choose were to go to not have to blow yourself up. I liked that. As the others said, the lateral movement is a bit hard to control. Maybe snapping to a grid would have worked better. Good Job on your first jam!
