this is pretty fun, I sat down for a while just wondering how it is possible and it was a pretty god idea for the game, I know I would never think of something like this, Very good!
Great concept! I don't think him being wounded and his clothes being torn matches with it though.
LMAO when the burger gets him and on the intro comic hahahahaha
good job mate (:
He's pretty sprightly for a guy in that shape, if nothing else.
That last level was hard, but not in a way that felt satisfying. The first two levels teach you that the way to win is by not jumping blindly, and that it's possible to get through without being slowed down on any walls; the third disregards all that with obstacles that - as far as I can tell - are impossible to avoid.
Also, your source needs to contain more than just the code; it also needs to include the assets (graphics, sounds, et cetera) so that someone else can work on it.
TL;DR: 10/10 fast food simulator, would get eaten by burgers again
I saved you from the big bad burger. The controls could have been a little better but the art and concept made me smile. Also, a finish line indicating an end of level would be nice. The first level in particular just had a big drop, which confused me.
Alright, I managed to reach the end. The second level was my favorite, it had a lot of variety and was actually pretty satisfying to reach the end without the burger even showing up on the screen.
Unfortunately I think the theme of sacrifice here is there in name only. If I didn't know what the theme of the jam was, I wouldn't have ever guessed that the theme was "Sacrifices must be made," since it's mentioned briefly at the start, never mentioned again, and there are no mechanics that tell me that sacrifice is involved.
I will say though that I appreciate the one-button gameplay. It's engaging enough to work with just one button, which isn't as easy as it sounds. Great job for that!
The idea is good
This is an interesting entry.
That was funny. I couldn't get past the second level. I like games like this. I do wish the controls/collisions were more on-point and exact, but this is a good entry, nicely done.
While he's running from the hamburger he's also getting exercise, so I guess it's a win-win! It's funny when the burger catches him :) Nice job.
Congratulations on making this :)
@vasco-freitas Thank you for your nice feedback it was greatly appreciated.🙂
@pcmaster Thank you. If you also have made a game Congratulations from me.
Thats the most absurd game Ive ever played. I love it. Great job!
@mosaic Thanks a lot for your so nice Words. : )
Amazing game, I love the funny artstyle and your amazing concept, well done!!!
Thank you @game-coder28 for coming over and looking at my game. And Also I want to say thanks for your very nice feedback.
Funny game, but you can come pretty far by just holding the space bar.
I like how he gets "fat" when the burger catches him :P
Thats a creepy burger! I like that you drew a comic for the story! :) I figured out that I can just hold space and get through most of the game. There was just 1 jump in the "snow" level that I had to do manually.
It's funny how he expands when he eats the burger! I also noticed you could just hold space to win and that removed any challenge
Some levels can be won just by holding space, i think jumping is too slow too. Also music is pretty repetive but it's a functional platforming game.
I love when the burger gets you - it makes me laugh a lot. Pretty fun for a one-button-game, a bit difficult to time things as the jumping is lacking a sense of weight to it - the third level was almost impossible. I'm not sure I felt very surprised by "Thanks for saving me from the burger", but I sure did feel appreciated.
Challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/a-epgKaAyrI
@jupiter-hadley Big thanks for playing my game in your series. And thanks for the Feedback
