Amazing atmosphere. From the start, you gave me that "Journey" feel. Great game in that sense. Art style works beautifully, love what you did with the fading of the characters.
Real talk here; game does feel kinda slow, like without a real purpose. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it denied me from enjoying the game a bit longer and more. I'm sorry to say I didn't complete the game.

I liked so much the enviroment sound, and the snow particles, the detail of the camp fire range, I liked all the composition of the game, nice graphics, good work! Maybe, I have to tell you that the speed movement was tooooooooo slow, but the mood needs it. I liked so much in general.
@bjeaurn Thanks for taking the time to play what you did! And thanks for the feedback. I wanted to make things slow to make it feel like you're walking through a storm, but I guess there is such a thing as too slow.

@fashionbatman Absolutely understand your artistic decision to slow the game down to implement that storm. For us rushed game devs, it was a tad too slow; but I understand and love why you did it.
@carpin thank you! Yeah I set the movement speed to fit the mood, but I guess I did that too much.
The mood of this game is spot on; the audio really sold the effect of the cold weather. Gameplay was a bit lacking; the slow movement made it not feel worth it to go back and try to find trinkets that I missed. Decreasing the distance between fires would help with that, though it could make the game feel like less of a journey. Either way, you fully immersed me in a winter storm.
@ectucker1 Thanks for the feedback! I decided this LD to focus on art more than the rest of the game, because usually I do the opposite. Decreasing the whole map size a tiny bit is definitely a good idea.

Nice entry, mood, sounds, and gameplay had a good feel. After the second campfire I was just tired of walking so slow. I loved the scarf the player, the animation was a nice addition to the weather and environment.

Winter is here... Absolutely amazing art and music! Gameplay comes a little short, feels more like a story, but who said that that is a bad thing, right?
I feel the size of the world and the movement speed are about right and changing them would diminish the mod and sense of isolation.
One thing I would change, however, is the addition of subtle hints to where to find the trinkets. Wandering around trying to find them is the most frustrating part of the game.
I really liked this game! Very minimalistic, both in graphics & audio. :) Both graphics (the animations are great) and sound design are really nice. I loved the overall atmosphere. Yet, I think the game wasn't super fun--but it's not necessarely a bad thing, the game was still relaxing and enjoyable. And I think it fits the theme nicely. Congrats! :D

A lovely little game with beautiful atmosphere! Unfortunately, I think I missed something? I made it to the second fire with no trinket, and couldn't bring myself to trudge back slowly through the void to look for it. I appreciated the collectathon blips in guiding the player and bringing them to new interactables (such as the trinket), but evidently it must have become all I focused on at some point.

Pretty nice experience with great graphics and atmosphere, but with the lack of speed and indications it was really hard to keep going when I found a campfire without any trinket.

Nice graphics and atmospere :) Such a peaceful journey! Only After the first fire, I forgot to find the trinket, so searching and moving on became difficult. :( Maybe adding something that would help find/remember the trinket wpould let me play more. On the one hand, indeed walking is a bit slow as a gameplay mechanic but on the other hand, it adds to the feeling of serenity. Good job!

Loved the feel of this game. The audio was especially enjoyable. I would have preferred a bit faster movement, however, since I forgot to grab the first trinket and had to slowly go back to it. Otherwise great little adventure game!

I don't mind a game that subverts the usual expectations, and this game of wandering randomly through a blank screen at a skincrawlingly drudgerous pace might connect with me if it found me in the right mood. The atmosphere is there - the white, with the fading footsteps, and the little washout around the edges that makes far objects seem dim, combined with the wind and the blowing scarf. It's all very nicely done, and it unfolded well... in the start I am guided but develop a feeling like "wow I'd better not get lost in this game, if I wandered I might not find my way back!" And then the game MAKES me do it, which is cool.
So I got to the third fire and spent some time looking for the third trinket, but after three or four failed forays into the unknown, without luck, I simply gave up.
It's a really difficult and delicate balance you are striking here, and I think you did a pretty good job.
This is an interesting take on the theme, and lovely to look at and listen to. The gameplay didn't really grab me, unfortunately.

Great atmosphere, I especially like the music & sound design. I missed the second trinket, tried to double back and look for it, but my trail faded so that was basically game over. I appreciate the concept but it feels like it needs a bit more to be a compelling experience, like a story or maybe some other gameplay elements (audio cues to help find other trinkets/explore for other things might be cool). Still it's cool to see something like this, nice work!
Way different than most of the other submissions, very quiet and calm game
I really like the atmosphere and audio, however, the gameplay is a bit too slow for me
I pretty much echo the comment above. I definitely got a lot of Journey vibes and the satisfying audio cues especially added to that.
This game is great!!! It has that special sauce I love.
Really nice job with the audio on this one. Those little pieces of music when reaching the fires felt real good after all that snow and wind.
