amazing graphics and music! love the atmosphere and game feel
This game is super cute! Really impressive art compared to most game jam games. I wish the autoclicker was a little more effective so I don't have to click so much (since it's very expensive to upgrade the autoclicker.) I'm going to keep playing though so I can get the cute penguins to visit my pool.
You all did amazing on this. The music and the art are fantastic. Game feel was nailed in this one. I think the cost of the auto clicker is a bit high, but it's pretty hard to balance things out in a game jam. Congrats on making a great game!
Neat little autoclicker, with really impressive art given the time.
The mood and art of this game are IMMACULATE. I wish there were a bit more mechanics, but overall, lovely atmosphere!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game! The art was cute, and the music was fun. Overall a simple yet satisfying clicker.
this is really cute! with a bit more features it could turn into a really succesful mobile game. love the autoclicker option.
The art. The music. The wonderful clicking. Thoroughly enjoyed playing this. Also very happy to see more 9:16 aspect ratio games really good decision to utilize the verticallity that aspect ratio gives rather than try to work more verticallity into 16:9
I've never been a huge fan of clickers, so take from this what you want :)
The art is coherent and clean. There were a few UI things that were off, like the prices hitting 320 caused them to have a line-break in the middle.
Not sure how most clickers sort of behave, but I got to a point where the upgrades were very slow to get between. I made it to depth 200 (well... 199), and it was likely going to be at least a few minutes before I'd have enough money to buy the next thing.
But overall, a solid job. It's crazy to see a team with one programmer and so many artists! My team is the exact opposite. Great submission!
Gosh, I love clickers, I can spend like my whole life playing them. Would you consider updating the game after the jam?
this game has good vibes, fun to play but gets repetitive.
I like the style a lot! The penguins are really cute, and having the credits show up at the beginning with everyone as penguins was a nice touch.
It was difficult for me to tell when the toggle autoclick is on or off. And I wasn't sure how to get to the 3rd phase of tourists in my pool? I did notice a house icon but it doesn't seem to do anything when I click.
The game is really fun and innovative. Good job!!
Simple but very addicting! There is a bug later where the shop doesn't appear anymore and the penguin keeps jumping to the pool.
Nice game! the mood is so cool and the art looks amazing ^^
Let's Go :D Bon jeu ! J'adore les graphismes et l'ambiance ! Bonne idée de faire un clicker, dommage que je n'ai pas eu la patience d'aller jusqu'au bout :P
Belle job ! :D
Hi everyone ! Thank you for all your wonderful feedback ! Let's give some answer. :D @lyxil Indeed the toggle visual was kinda rushed, so we don't have much feedback on it. I apologies :( And @thain Your issue is not a bug, but actually linked to Lyxil point. You activated the auto mode of the game, but lack of feedback didn't show it in a clear way.
@bitdecay I totally feel it ! We had only few times for balancing, we were in the rush until the last minute :( (We submitted like 27 seconds before the Jam end, haha.)
Thank you everyone for your love, and I wish you a wonderful day ! <3
Cute little idle game. The music helps with the relaxing atmosphere.
Lovely clicker game! This is one I could see myself sinking a lot of time into if it was updated post compo. I agree that the autoclick should be more effective.
Great news ! We're already working on an update ! Balancing, game feel, graphics, and save system. Everything will get an upgrade <3
Preface, clickers are not my usual cup of tea. That being said this is a very cute, and incredibly cohesive submission.
It took me a little bit to realize I could swim side to side, and began looking for a purpose for it, trying to swim up to/mine the fossils, maybe expose some item by mining in different spots. But I came to the conclusion that the swimming movement really doesn't do anything other than allow a small illusion of freedom within the water column? I could see the movement becoming more fun if the collectable fish spawned in windy patterns, rather than directly in front of me, but because they spawned in front of me it discouraged any movement. At the same time the spawning of fish worked for the auto version of the game so IDK, maybe in auto they spawn directly in front, in manual they don't? wooooo I'm getting caught up on things ;)
I really liked the fossils. The health bar of the current layer/depth would be better placed relative to the layer. It was a little confusing when it would pop up on my swim down and lead to me being confused as to which bar was my breath. Maybe making it a different color would help associate it with the damage, perhaps a brown to reflect dirt?
The particle/sprite of cracks that overlays the pool floor, it would be nice to have the floor visually weaken. like a series of progressively more damaged sprites to overlay and communicate the health of the current layer.
Overall very cute, fully functional, polished game. Good Job!
Love the art style and animations. The clicker mechanic was fun initially but after unlocking a couple of the upgrades It wasn't clear if there was a point in continuing much further. I also initially thought I was supposed to avoid rather than collect the fish. Ultimately, a solid base for a game that could easily be expanded into something great.
Nice game! Sound and graphics are very neat. Great job!
Charming art style and audio. The feedback loop of collecting the fish to go deeper was perfect for an auto-clicker, though I will say that I felt the balance was a little off (makes sense, since it's a jam game). Progress really seemed to slow to a crawl once I got further than 300 or so as the cost of the fish multiplier grew much faster than I could get fish. Perhaps increasing the rate at which swim speed increases would be a good way to compensate?
Regardless, it was still fun to play, so good job on that.
Amazing work!!! Great sound, great graphics! I was wondering how ya'll worked with so many artists and only 1-2 devs, and when i started playing I knew xD Great choice of focus and making it all come together. Great interpretation of the theme. I'm just super sad auto clicker didnt work
