Wow this is such a good game. I can see that a lot of work has been put in it. This is one of my favorite game out of all games I played in this jam. Really amazing concept. I don't have anything criticism to this game because it is really good and fun. The art is amazing, the sound effect and most important the concept is amazing. I can see this game being released on steam as a commercial game :) I didn't play that much. I think I reached day 3 and stopped playing but anyways amazing job on making this game :)

Simple and stylish, cool!

craplex 2021-04-27 10:18

Wow, the game is so detailed. Love it. Love the sound design everything works great. Great Job

chesschaser 2021-04-27 10:19

I love this game!

alyd-asmar 2021-04-27 10:21

I couldn't play, it's just a black screen with the music :( I tried with both Mozilla and Edge. And there's nothing quite worrying in the console, the only warning message is "The character used for Underline is not available in font asset [TrueArtisans SDF]."

Great game! The gameplay is fun and surprisingly in depth for a game jam. I think the random events add a lot to the gameplay and I think you use them very effectively to create more interesting gameplay with the least amount of added mechanics. The dialogue is sometimes a bit goofy but I suspect that might be a language barrier. So far one of my favourite games in the jam!

One thing I might mention if you use sound effects that you didn't create yourself you might want to uncheck the audio category.

digitaldude555 2021-04-27 10:26

The choice of sounds is perfect, love the artstyle. Game itself fits the theme well and it seems to be an idle game, but the pace of you upgrading is too slow, I think it would be better if you were able to upgrade the first upgrades quickly with little money and then the time between upgrades would get longer but I could never have enough money even after 2 days which last 6 minutes. Anyway good job.

xyfeng 2021-04-27 10:39

@alyd-asmar I am sorry to hear that you cannot open the game. We will try to upload a PC version of the game soon! Stay tuned if you are still interested in. Still, thanks for your feedback ;)

genpaku 2021-04-27 10:44

Cool idea and I love the sounds, game feels alive.

campostella 2021-04-27 10:53

@jorim Thank you for your comment we're very appreciated. Yes, there are lots of typos and mistakes about dialogues due to working overnight(and bad english), we are going to refine the events in a fixed-version. As for the audio, all the sound effects are chosen from freesound.org, but the BGMs are original and created in 72h, so we will be appreciated if you only score the BGMs, and we will note this in the description. Thank you and have a nice day;)

zivfo 2021-04-27 12:44

Hi @alyd-asmar ,sorry we only tested chrome for web. now there's a pc build added, same as the submitted version

systemeffect 2021-04-27 17:29

Just spent a long time playing this (still playing but want to get my review down). Excellent gameplay, super fun! I like that you have different strategies to build your empire. I went for storage early on which paid off later when I hit HUGE on silver and stored them for a big pay day.

Gameplay loop is fun, the ore market feels alive, very cool. Agree with others that the pace is a bit slow. I'm on Day 8 and still grinding away. Also if the price of silver goes above 1000 it can sometimes shift the text down a line (web version).

Great game!

edit: assistant brings you sausages. 10/10

Edit 2: Beat it! I brought the silver industry to its knees and took over the world. I felt sorta bad at the end, here I am pulling all this precious silver from beneath the feet of these farmers but they are all just so thankful for my scraps they give me more money on top of it.

Great game! Thanks for the fun!

Nice jam! The sounds are good, the visuals are amazing. Great job!!

xyfeng 2021-04-28 04:37

@systemeffect Wow! That is incredible! Looking at what you've achieved, it can feel like all our hard work is well worth it! Hahhh... Thank you so much for spending long time play our game and leaving us valuable feedback!

zivfo 2021-04-28 04:59

@systemeffect Man you cracked the game. we are surprised by your feedback and feel sorry for the lack of late game contents to play. A longer story flow and more event variations were planned but we ran out of time, you eventually out ran us. Thanks for sharing and thanks for playing :3

mighty-mufflon-games 2021-04-28 15:13

Impressive. The concept is great. The calls give the whole game so much life, so it isn't not a bit boring to wait for the next ore. Well done!

chimp 2021-04-28 19:07

Definetely a game where I'd need to make sure that I have some spare time. It's a an interesting game that tickles the resource gathering part of my brain. By the third or fourth day I managed to get about 100k because gold skyrocketed in price

I wasn't aware that some of the calls were taking money. With the exception of certain prices rises, others I weren't sure what the effects were i.e. police donation or giving staff meals although I might've missed something during the newspaper transition.

Overall, very good game, well done

eugenik 2021-04-28 19:52

Great graphics, really good overall :).

krapht 2021-04-29 03:53

Great use of the theme and audios and graphics were really good. The phones calls are a bit to fast at the start. I would have like some breathing room while tried to explore the interface.

mololo 2021-04-29 19:32

Great game, I like the idea. I had a lot of fun playing.

Good job.

threeli 2021-04-30 02:00

This is a refreshingly unique idea. I love much work you put a single screen and few UI elements to. I've also got to really say the audio hit high marks for me. I would love to know if you're going to keep working on it - I see you said you had more ideas but ran out of time. Feels like there's a ton of potential here, great work!

his-games 2021-05-02 11:54

Very well made game! I really love the ui design, and the sound effects specifically. The interfaces are a joy to interact with - which is fantastic with a ui heavy game like this. The progression is smooth, and what this game lacks in action it makes up for in character. If you were to take this further, you should add more options to upgrade your business, like buying more mining rigs, or faster mining, or maybe even different locations with different types of ores. One of the best games I've played this jam, well done!

EDIT: I see there are upgrades in the screenshots. Is this something that happens later into the game? I got moderately far, but I didn't see that.

2021-05-02 13:09

The interface is simple and easy to understand. The background would be better to change according to different ores.SHOW ME THE Device Upgrade XP. Price volatility is a good idea,I love it. In general, the structure is compact, good job!

xyfeng 2021-05-02 14:57

@his-games Glad you enjoyed our little game. And thank you for your valuable feedback! We definitely will consider your ideas in our post jam version if there is one ;) About your question: you might have to wait for the day one to pass and then that screen would appear. Hah, 6 min for a day seems way too long for a jam game. Lesson learned! Thanks for you time!

leorid 2021-05-02 17:22

Ok, usually I am not into these kind of games but maybe I am? IDK, figuring out what all the things on the screen mean, almost going bankrupt, then becomming a millionare in a few minutes was very fun.

But the endgame is not so cool, there are no more upgrades, money doesn't matter anymore, just wanting the drill to go down 10.000m, but it constantly requires me pressing buttons.

If there were more upgrades along the way, or more things to do, besides saying yes and no to various people, this would use so much more of it's potential.

IDK what kind of games you usually make but afaik, balancing these kind of management/idle games is done in Excel with formulars. Calculating the time it will take one player to get X amount of money, then putting an upgrade there - or using visualized formulars - but ofcourse that's complicated for a jam game and would probably require some testing and/or tools (like a bot that plays the game at 2000% speed).

Anyways, start & midgame were fun and you get the points for it.

itooh 2021-05-02 18:46

This is a clicker with an interesting twist! The game was a bit slow to start, but eventually I made a lucky sell and could more easily play strategically with the market. it's pretty exciting to make some bet, and wait for the prices to rise to sell everything! However a thing that annoyed me was the phone calls: they are way to frequent, and become stressful notifications that prevent to be focus on something. But otherwise, the game-design is pretty solid!

zimny11 2021-05-03 15:57

A really fun andw well polished game! Good job. I liked the art style and the sound effect. Especially the sound effect, just so good... I wish there was some music, but I understand that there is just so much that can be done in such a short time. I think the phnoe calls are too frequent and start to get a little bit annoying after a while.
