@locustjin , thank you) the introduction is my favorite part too. we'll fix the bugs with the music soon and hope you enjoy the atmosphere more!

I really enjoyed this! Almost played without audio until I read that you guys had it working on the downloaded version, but I'm so glad I downloaded it. The atmosphere is great!

I do want to give some constructive feedback though: it took me a little while to figure out what I was doing. Not a game breaker, I eventually figured it out, but something in game, or even on here explaining how you ward fish off would have been helpful.

But, the main thing that really made me like this game was the story and narrative. Might seem a little silly, someone being depressed because they don't have any ideas, so they go diving for one?? It's wild. But once I finished it and started to reflect, there's genuine meaning to it, and it's deeply relatable. I feel like this is a game I could write an essay on the metaphors of. I don't know how much of it was intentional, but either way, it landed. I don't think it's the best playing or best looking LD game I've played, but it's probably the one that's impacted me the most.

Awesome job!

Interesting atmosphere. Love the sketches you posted. We kinda missed having some sounds in the WEB version, but appreciate the "deepness" of it ;)

Looks like you had a similiar idea then we did but with a completly different execution. The graphics are amazing, the darknes sets a cool mood. The fishs and creatures are pretty scary down there! A little explanation on the gameplay would be good at the start.

Besides that: Good entry which fits the theme perfectly!

Good graphics, pretty scary sea creatures, but I really missed the music. Especially in the moments between the cut-scene and the game itself, it is not quite obvious where the scene is and where the game is. At the end, I would like to see a sign "The end" or something like that, so as not to wait for the black screen to disappear.

Otherwise, just great work! I hope you will understand the music and grow in the right direction. I think it will be a good interesting game in the final stage.

@tom-robson Wow that's a really cool feedback! Thank you! You are pretty right about narrative. There we hid a story about creative search that leads us deep into the mind. We are very glad that we were able to hide this thing so that it would be found :)

Thank you!

@anaxie-studio Thank you!

nastya-safonova 2021-04-29 13:40

@y4nnick Yes, that's true about the explanations. Got carried by metaphysics))

Thank you for diving our game!

nastya-safonova 2021-04-29 13:42

@pnikav Thanks for the constructive feedback!

Strange and beautiful! I loved the mood of this from the get-go, I think the themes of depression and diving into the depths work very well together. The music and voice work was excellent! Very moody! Everything comes together well.

I agree with another comment about putting "The End" or something like that at the very end. I was staring at the blank black screen waiting for something to happen.

Great job overall!

nastya-safonova 2021-04-29 14:20

@systemeffect haha yeah we got it)) thank you so much!
