I loved it. I ran into a couple of bugs (when I fell in the pit I moved around and fell out of the world). As stated the mouse is very sensitive, but the puzzles were fun.

I loved it. I ran into a couple of bugs (when I fell in the pit I moved around and fell out of the world). As stated the mouse is very sensitive, but the puzzles were fun.
I liked the art style, and I liked the character. I do think that the character and camera were too close to the ground. It was hard to see most of the time. But I did like the progressions of the puzzles and the game mechanics.
Interesting idea! I got hit with a bug when I crossed the first chasm where you ride on the horizontal pole, I fell through the world when I got off. When I respawned, the puzzle was stuck in the end position so I couldn't progress.
Also, you can move twice as fast if you hold two movement keys down at once.
My first reaction: "What am I?" After the first puzzle: "Oh, neat". After the 2nd: "Ooh!" 3rd: "Cool!" Very nice game - incredibly innovating idea which I enjoyed more and more after each puzzle. I also really liked the polished low-poly graphics and lighting. I did get stuck in the room with the rotating platform though, and the mouse sensitivity is really painful.
this game is amazing! i loved the mechanic and the level design. the camera was a bit janky and the walls are missing some colliders but overall the experience is really fun. congrats!!
Beautiful game and concept! Using the player as a gear was a cute idea but the later cool puzzle mechanics are what did it for me. The world was very atmospheric. I would love to see this idea expanded.
Took me a while to get my bearings :) Loved the atmosphere, the sound effects where a little obtrusive. I got stuck at the puzzle with the rotating platform, fell down and when I reset, I couldn't reach the bridge. Overall a nice experience, congrats on the game!
Mouse is a bit too sensitive, kinda hard to get used too. I fell through the world every time I tried to cross the pit so I couldn't finish it which was a shame because I really liked what I saw! Very cool idea for a puzzle game, well done!
What a cool idea and game! I liked the puzzle mechanic even though the controls were a bit hard to get first, but once I got it it was okay. The transitions between the first puzzle rooms were a bit long as the gear was a bit slow walking on his tiny feet. Really liked the audio, the art style and the character :sparkles: great job!
Wow, I just woke up and I'm amazed by that fact that some many of you guys have played our little game already! Reading all your comments makes me really happy and proud, so thank you all so much for sharing your thoughts on the game! 😇😇😇
So, about those game breaking bugs... 😅
I will fix them right away! Mark from 3PM realised that a player could get stuck when being reset without the room being reset, but Mark from 3AM definitely didn't care about that.
Today I will fix all game breaking bugs and upload a new version to itch. I'll keep the old/original version online for people that want to experience the game in it's full gamejammie state.
After that, but possibly at another time, we'd like to polish the game a bit more and give it the ending that it deserves. So once that's done you can expect the following 3 versions:
1. Original GameJam version (with game breaking bugs) 2. Original GameJam version (but with game breaking bugs fixed) 3. The most up to date, polished version of the game
I think this is the most elegant way to upload multiple versions, while keeping the original version available. Let me know if you think there is a better way to do this!
Thank you all for your feedback! Be sure to keep sharing all the bugs you encounter along the way! ;)
The controll scheme need some clarification i didnt understand i needed to use the arrow keys for the poles or that that was even a mechanic. The fact that the puzzles dont reset when you die/press R is an issue (quite exhausting needing to restart and replay the whole game to get another try at the puzzle). Nice graphics and audio and the idea is decent
Nice mood and impressive that it was made in a weekend! Somewhat Zelda-like puzzles. Some walls does not have colliders, but it is a cool game!
love the graphics.
This a very clever game!!
very interesting mechanic, the artwork and music are very well put together and create a very pleasent atmosphere. Mouse sensitivity was off the charts for me, I had to lower DPI to 100 to be able to control the camera. I kind of blocked the game on the rotating bridge puzzle because I fell after rotating the bridge, R reseted my position but the bridge was in the new rotation configuration and wasn't able to get to the platform again.
Very cool game, impressive artwork and level design, an amazing entry!! Congrats!!
I've never seen anything like this before! Nice!
The core concept here is really cool. Rotating pieces used to solve puzzles based on the 'key' configuration. There's lots of opportunities to explore stuff and I think your level design did a good job of introducing a concept and expanding upon it. There was a slight amount of tedium that could be a problem with longer puzzles though. Indicating which color axis you needed for a given puzzle was good, but it was a 50/50 shot if you picked the right one. This means some of the puzzles had multiple answers that looked correct but the player couldn't tell which one was true. I don't know if 4 colors would work for this? And a little UI key to tell you which key is which color?
Art was clean and the audio added to the experience. Nice job team!
Loved the game and every aspect of it! Please have a look at the camera movement speed since it moves too quickly and does not add up well in the overall experience. Good job!
@harrison-dunn thank you for playing our game! I'm glad you liked it! :D
I totally agree with you that the player should be able to figure out beforehand which side should be longer, which is something we plan on redesigning in an updated version!
Thanks for your feedback :)
Very original mechanics! I really liked the mood and the art. Maybe the player could move a bit faster, and the camera could be slower. Nice job :)
I played the original (bugged) version and didn't encounter any bugs, so that was actually quite a nice surprise. The game is quite simple, as long as you don't fall into the water on the 3rd riddle like I did. Anyway I managed to finish it and I enjoyed it enough to be sad that there are no more levels! The graphic was okay and the music was great - good, chill vibe!
Relly cool game ! Big potential with this idea, i can already imagine tons of puzzle to made with this ! Great job !
Relaxing game, the sound really set the theme. Now I really know what its like to be a spinning wheel. Thanks for the game.
Very cool design for the game. Really cool mechanics and I liked how the little legs wiggled when doing the puzzle mechanic. Each puzzle felt really well thought out. The only qritique would be that the puzzles felt a little bit eazy, but on the other hand they still felt interesting and fun to do.
Relaxing game! A bit of nitpicking is perhaps redundant walking and as has been mentioned, the 50/50 puzzles. Loved the interactions though, they're satisfying even if they're easy, so as an introduction to the game's systems it's great.
Loving the atmosphere on this one! It feels both relaxing and mysterious - exactly what I want in a puzzle game!
I'd love to see this expanded more! More mechanics, more puzzles, more little gear friends. I'd play that!
Awesome job, hope to see more in the future.
I love the lego star wars vibes
great concept, nice sound effects, good luck in future jams!
I really liked this game, the mechanics are well done, the graphics are very beautiful and (I tried) but I didn't find any bugs, in fact, sometimes the camera enters the wall but otherwise the game is perfect!
This was soooo unique! Well done putting this together in just 3 short days. I enjoyed the puzzles and found myself having a great time
Interesting idea. These little legs... :D Couldn't make it past the vertical bridge thing. I guess I did not really figure out the puzzle mechanics.
Great work! The central mechanic is quite good and works really well and the environmental art is fantastic!
One of the best mechanics i played so far, I loved the game. Player the latest version so i had no problems no complains. Good graphics, good sound design, amazing mechanic and much fun. I wish it had more levels but it is LD. I think you turn this in to a complete game. Great job.
The puzzles here were quite cool and I like how you slowly introduced the concepts and built on them. First puzzle game I've played here that works so well!
I enjoyed the music had a Zelda dungeon vibe to it. The puzzles built in a logical way. Interesting concept, well executed.
The puzzles in this were really fun and actually quite clever. I did manage to softlock the game on the Web version by moving a platform out of reach and accidentally detaching. The sound effects were also a tad too loud for my liking but aside from those two little gripes I really enjoyed this game. It was an interesting take on the theme and honestly; I thought the character was actually pretty damn cute ^^
Very nice graphics, nice ambient music, this is moody. I've enjoyed puzzles but also simply walking around. Good job!
These were some good puzzles! I didn't get the feeling that we were going deeper and deeper, though. Sometimes we were actually going up!
Whenever there is a death, it would help to start nearer the beginning of the puzzle or even looking at it. There were a few times after I died that I got disoriented and ended up walking to the previous puzzle. It was also be nice to get an indicator that you actually died. I thought at first I had somehow succeeded and jumped to the next page. I'm very bad at platformers, heh.
What a game, really inmersive, everything was well done. Really nice job, seriously.
Nice game!
I loved the graphics, the low poly art is good, clear, the room space is practical for the camera and the lightning feels good. The music is nice and the sounds are satisfying. The puzzle mechanic might be very simple but it is innovative and intuitive!
Good job!
Really love the game! Extra credits from me would go to graphics and the overall ambience of the game! Lighting is on point too but there are certain areas which are a little dark (I couldn't see the character at all). Mouse is also too sensitive imo. But otherwise, beautiful and creative game!
Very nice game. "Q" and "E" keys would've been more convenient to adjust the poles. And some tweening when attaching the chasm. But these are just small complaints to an overall fantastic game.
Liked very much the idea. The exploration is a factor that I didn't see much around other games from this jam, so its nice to see this for a change. And its also nice to see it being well applied. The character is little but interesting and charismatic, the graphics are awesome. The sound maybe was too high, but nothing too annoying. I only found the movementation of the character a bit weird since the mouse is very sensitive. Besides that, great game!
really nice graphics and i loved the concept
Amazing game, great concept and execution. Never thought I would play as a handle! Also, props for making a 3d game that looks so good in just 72 hours!
My only complaint is that it ended a little bit abruptly. But that is expected in a game jam.
Fantastic job!
It's a really good concept - I found myself bruteforcing my way through (if left did not work, then all the right and try again). The camera control is way too sensitive, and I dislike camera movement upon moving to the left or right :(. I think it was possible to run faster by going diagonal - did you normalize the direction arrow? Music made a really good atmosphere and the sound effect worked out very good as well :)
great game. that last puzzle where you hit two things in one movement was really satisfying. my only suggestion is to put the Move Poles inputs on the mouse (hold left or right mouse button and scroll mouse wheel) or Q/E and 1/3 (to put them close to WASD. i just found it awkward to use the arrow keys. but if you made input customisation its irrelevant i guess
Nice concept, this idea could give something bigger and interesting. Gj
Camera wasn't great I'll be honest. But I love the detail of the world and atmosphere. Subtle but very effective!
