Power Draw by LukeZaz 2017-08-17T00:35:49Z
A health bar and indicator of what direction you are facing would be really useful but the art style is simple and clean and the movement felt good. The game just needs a bit more work.

The ship or plane was hard to control so I could only get through the first hoop, other than that I liked the menu it was simple but it could have had more text explaining what you had to do. Some screenshots on this page would have been nice too.
It was hard to play with the controls X and C but it was a really fun game.
I liked this game because it was fun and I understood what I had to do instantly. The only thing I would change is the fake volume sliders in the options menu.
Try uploading it to a site like itch.io or gamejolt.
I couldn't really get far but I found a box towards the left of spawn but every time I try to flip the switches I failed and the game was over. The game was very difficult but I liked the art style and innovation.
#winning :grinning:. I like turn based games but when I run out of power I can't move and there is no way to regenerate it so I had to let the CPU kill me to get the last plant.
I saw the controls on the kongregate page but you should make them clearer. The art was good but the character was still very hard to control.
This is a really good idea and it would be nice to see it go further.
I liked how you can build and add on to your space ship and I like the music for this game. But Q and E was hard to turn the ship while using WASD.
I liked the lighting in the game but the player was a bit too slow.
My score was 6390
I had the same problem as @razeveck https://i.imgur.com/TMrqUnt.png
The music was fun and it fit well with the game but the game was quite difficult to get past day 2.
I really enjoyed the game and the music. There was nothing bad about it. :grinning:
My high score on flat is 791 and on platforms, it was 161. On platforms, you might need to make the platforms longer because on high speeds you still jump really slowly which leads to falling in between the platforms.
There was no one online when I was playing.
I agree with @zarkonnen there should be labels next to the towers but other than that it was good.
The audio was really nice.
The game started to get a bit repetitive after a few rounds so you could add more stuff to buy. The art would have been good if it was less blurry but the music and sound were great fit well with the game.
The character was moving slowly but it was a good game after playing for a few minutes.
@quemagalletas Thanks for the feedback everything should be working now.
Thank You.
@maniacashul @f-dawg I know I was supposed to fix that but I didn't have enough time. :slight_frown:
@anttiviljami That was a bug I couldn't fix but hopefully it didn't have a large impact on the game. The music was Cyborg Ninja from https://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/music.html
@tinfoilboy Should I change the colour of the powerups? @pouleyketchoupp You can press the left arrow to slow down.
@justinooncx I don't want to work on the game after the jam but if there are any bugs I'll fix it. @thecodefactory Thanks. @superpokeunicorn Some of the obstacles are the power ups spawn at the top or bottom of the screen and you can strafe but very very slowly, I do agree with you I should speed up the strafe.
@mortus Thanks :grinning:
@valphera Thanks, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to improve the controls.
Thanks @Lamm
@sixteen Out of time was the win screen but I should have made it more clear.
@jupiter-hadley Thank you! @Coauctor You're supposed to get to the exit point with losing the least amount of power.
The menus were too confusing. I think you should have used a larger font for the and explained what you had to do for the game. You should put some screenshots on your itch.io page too.
The graphics and music really suited the game. I was stuck at the end in level 2 so I was forced to run out of power. I think it was because I didn't the boss at the start of the level.
I really like the music for this game.
My high score was 400.
It was fun but it was very difficult my high score was 72.
I was confused and didn't know what to do. I liked the art for the game but the borderless window should be replaced with a normal one.
The readme.txt file really helped. The only thing I would change is to add an interactive tutorial.
You should export the game to .zip file. The audio and graphics suit the game a lot but there were too many enemies or they were spawning too quickly.
A lot of people don't have android phones you should port the game to windows.
I really enjoyed the game but I didn't really know what wires to cut and what not to cut.
I had to skip the tutorial because I don't like reading tutorials, so an interactive one would have been nice. The game should have been easier but my high score was 345.
Try uploading it to a different website like gamejolt.
Try uploading it to a different website like gamejolt.
You should consider porting the game to PC.
Nice simple game with a great link to the theme.
Nice and simple.
When I was playing with an Xbox One gamepad sometimes the movement would work but I couldn't fire any bullets (btw it's a fun game).
@dan-flockhart @zezel Thanks for playing my game.
@maindric Thanks for letting me know. I'll fix it later.
@nefrace @krassenstein Thank you for playing my game.
@westmave @ben657 @ludumdaredevil @samueldeboni @kitjenson Thank you for your feedback
Thank you everyone for playing my game. Also thanks for the feedback and suggestions it will help me make better games in the future.
I didn't know if it was intentional or not but I like how the different sounds are in time with each other. It gives the game a fun atmosphere.
The movement didn't really feel smooth but other than that the rest of the game was great.
Nice concept. I like the little easter egg in the menu.
It wasn't really a "game" but I still enjoyed it and the music is awesome.
It looks like a macOS build. Maybe you should upload a windows or web build.
Great game!
I would buy this game if you put a little more work into it, but right now the game felt slow to play.
Pretty good. The game feels too challenging, maybe you should make it so the player doesn't die from one hit.
It's nice how you included a single player mode, I like the soundtrack and I like the coin flip at the start. The game feels. At the end of the game there's a bug where a "you win" message comes up and it just stays there.
Even though the graphics weren't that great they still fit the game and the game felt nice too. The gameplay was simple and fun with it being easy to learn. I think this is one of my favourite games so far. I'd be happy to see some more levels.
It felt humorous to play, everything felt random and unexpected. I really enjoyed it.
I think it needs more levels.
I didn't understand what I had to do. But on the other hand the pixel art looks amazing.
ha ha! The game felt random but it was still really fun and it fits the theme quite well.
I like the physics based element of the game. It reminds me of Portal 2 a bit.
It was a bit difficult to understand at first without any description of what to do. After I found the game very fun. Maybe you could add a way to change the mouse sensitivity.
I really enjoyed playing the game.
I like the art in this game and the camera feels smooth, but the movement controls feel tedious so I would recommend changing that. This is really good for a first game made in a strict time limit.
@willym18 You can upload unity html5 games to https://itch.io for free. It takes a coupe of minutes, then a lot of people will play your game and give valuable feedback.
It's difficult and fun.
It wasn't fun when playing alone but it looks fun when there's someone else to play with.
I like the game but there's no incentive to collect the white circles because it's easier to not collect them. I would recommend adding a scoring system or make it so the player has to collect the rings.
I didn't know how to play the game until I read one of the comments here, maybe you should add a description of how to play on the game's page. I like the idea, it feels unique and fits the theme very well.
I got a highscore of 14. I really like the game mechanics of slowing down the game.
I really liked it but I think the audio didn't really suit the style of the game.
I found it really hard with a keyboard much easier with a controller.
Wow this is a very innovative game. I also really enjoyed the sound effects.
The controls were confusing at first but afeterwards it was fun.
