LD46 — Keep it alive

The Greedy Lightbulb by MCRewind 2020-04-25T15:46:11Z

Nice graphics and music, the gameplay reminded me a bit of those clicker games but more interesting. At some point though no matter how hard I tried to feed the lightbulb, it just became angrier so losing is pretty much the only option.

Lovely concept, it's really unique and relaxing. Showing the profile picture of who typed the command on the bots is a really nice touch too. Well done!

Keep our Mother alive by soyrandom 2020-04-25T14:57:27Z

Lovely art style and music, fun gameplay too! I just couldn't reach the end of the game as no matter how hard I tried I couldn't complete the last level.

Dr. Noir by UnidayStudio 2020-04-25T15:56:01Z

Funny game, nice graphics too. The virus side effects gave some good challenge, especially the control change and the black and white filter. Also, kudos for using the BGE

Really awesome game. That's really the kind of game I wish I imagined  My favorite game in this jam :ok_hand:

You could really add some more content and put it on Steam!

Missing Pieces by Abu Sabiq Mahdi 2020-04-23T19:34:26Z

I really liked the music and sounds as well as the visuals, it was really nice and relaxing. The second level would've been a bit better if it was more of a puzzle and less of a trial and error level, but other than that it was really good. I could only wish it was longer!

The Last Cactus by HomunculusGames 2020-04-23T20:26:36Z

One of the games I enjoyed the most in this jam. Audio is great, graphics are great, and I found really fun the fact you must stop yourself in a firefight to water your cactus. I don't know if you plan to continue it after the jam, but you've got yourself some solid basis on which you can add content. Howdy, partner :ok_hand:

Pogo by Motley 2020-04-23T17:22:28Z

Really simple and fun, well done! Honestly that's the kind of game I thought I wouldn't play for long, yet once I started I spent 20 minutes in it. This could easily replace the T-Rex game from Chrome

Rainy Day by Mat_Mox 2020-04-23T20:06:16Z

Nice graphics and mood! I just thought it was missing some checkpoints, as having to restart from the beginning when you start to get far isn't great considering how relaxing and nice the game is. Adding some sort of puzzles could also be fun, if you plan to continue working on it after the jam. Bravo! :)

@odd1in @david-knox @play-pause-games @nabo369 @stadoblech thanks a lot for your positive feedbacks! We're happy you enjoyed the game :D

@picross thanks for your feedback! Could you tell us more about the parts you found confusing?

@carlix @mark-kelly @garett-cooper @marot sorry for the key mapping, we're from a country that uses AZERTY keyboard instead of QWERTY keyboards, and we thought Unity would detect what kind of layout you used and adapt itself... Anyway, we uploaded a new build for QWERTY layouts, so you can play with WASD! Thanks for telling us about that problem.

@garett-cooper the coffee machine is in the open space, against the wall between the Phone Room and the Meeting Room!

@marot throwing objects in other directions could be fun, we'll try something

@curleysam thanks for all your positive feedbacks! :) As I said right above, we fixed the keymap to use WASD, thanks for telling us about that. For the penguin, well, I guess we'll never know why that lil guy was there *each time there was a fire in the archives*!

The White, The Dead and The Bullets by deadlyfishes 2020-04-23T19:52:14Z

Really fun and polished!

I had only had two problems with it: the first one was that in some levels I had to go back to the main menu and restart because I just couldn't reach the platforms. The second one is just that the dash feels a bit weird at first, and it gets pretty hard to both shoot at ennemies and dash. Maybe try to set the dash in the direction of a movement key press?

Also, if you can, try to make a version that doesn't require to install the game, or even a browser version if possible, I think most people are turned off when they see they need to install it.

Honestly it could easily be turned into a commercial game, so congrats for that. That's really the kind of game I'd waste a lot of my time on if I could play it on my phone. Nice music too!

Rusty by Primum Ludum 2020-04-23T17:24:29Z

Nicely done, I really liked the graphics, and especially the robot. I got lost more often than I'd like to admit!

Minor Inconvenience by MaxEstLa 2020-04-25T16:09:46Z

Très joli et fun (sauf le charbon qui *refuse* de rentrer dans le four, argh ). Les modifications du niveau sont une bonne idée, comme on ne sait pas trop à quoi s'attendre ça évite qu'on se lasse. Bravo !

Dungeon Day-Trippers by Stephen Toth 2020-04-23T19:40:49Z

Great artstyle, the mix between low poly 3D, pixel art and dynamic lights looks neat. Some of the platforming sections were a bit tedious because of the camera position, but other than that the controls work well and I liked the concept and the level of polish. Well done!
