Could not open on itch.io
@thelukker, I fixed it!
There are unfortunately some issues with the game that make it difficult to play, but it looks like the skeleton for a fast-paced game. The movement was the big issue for me, as you can't move left or right at all unless you're moving forward. This makes maneuvering around blocks very difficult.
The constant alternating between tension and relief makes this game really addicting. Testing and polishing a game under a time crunch is definitely tough, but what you got done with the physics and graphics is the start of a really great game. My high score is a whopping 2, let's see if any fellow jammers can beat that. Keep up the good work!
This is nice and controls well enough! Did have trouble with the block retrieval at times. It seemed like I would run into things when I was pretty far away from them, causing the block to disappear. Pretty cool though! Definitely tried topping my score haha.
There is potential here but as it is now it's too difficult! Only managed 1. I think the issue is that the cubes switch too quickly, by the time you get to it, it explodes and you need to go somewhere else. I think either increasing the cube time or tweaking the energy loss could make this game more engaging. Nice job!
@remzo In my meager time testing It seemed too easy so I bumped up the speed... guess I forgot that if it's just right when I play it's 3 times too hard for others XD
Hey its cool to see another delivery game with a different approach. I have to agree with everyone else that its a bit too hard but I think we are all pretty much guilty of that. If the car could turn a little bit sharper and you were more lenient on time I think I could have a decent amount of fun with this one. A promising start for sure, I really like where you were going.
I couldn't play the game, I downloaded it and was only able to run it on Unity, and since I didn't had blender some stuff just gliched out, from the scene on the projet I was able to see how it was suposed to be moved, but couldn't see anything, sorry man.
No problem at all. Since my upload is so messy, it's best just to play the html version on itch.
... Just found the edit button...
It feels quite unfinished.. all sort of bugs like the highlighted cube getting knocked while I'm miles away Also steering is uncomfortable.. is it accelerating? Usually use constant rate of angular velocity. Keep the good work though =]
It feels like a very raw form of a game, like a game that it is still in development.
Yeah... I switch ideas on Sunday. It seems I only get an idea i'm happy with half-way through XD
Nice idea, but it's too hard to move the car around. It turns too fast.
The game was fun but the car sometimes got stuck and I couldn't move.
This game is really unfinished. Not just the audio but the gameplay as well.
That said, I like the controls and the minimalistic graphics, if you had had more time this could easily have turned out to be a fun game.
I wish you more luck with your timing for the next LD, keep up the good work!
