Nicely polished and fun, One thing I would change is to add some lerp to camera movement.

A fun little Crossy Road clone. I don't know if you intended for God Mode to be available, but it's available without being able to afford it, in this build.

My only suggestion for the future would be to make really repetitive noises (like the mouse squeak) have a couple of variations, just so it doesn't sound as reptitive.

All round though, very well done! Kepp up the great work.

Very nice little game!! I would call it Rat Run or Rodent Dash! I love the little charecter, he's so cute!! Really well made with great sound effects.

I think I supposed to die when car hits me. But graphics are good.

joelle 2020-04-21 06:43

cool graphics, though i have issue where i cant be killed by cars/vehicles, only drowning.

despdair 2020-04-21 06:45

You may want to play with random generation there was some dead ends in river parts in my first runs. And jump animation can be a little bit slow

leniwabula 2020-04-21 06:47

Neat little game - especially considering that it's been done in 24 hours instead of allowed 72.

I couldn't figure out how to do diagonal jumps on lilypads though :(

robowarrior1982 2020-04-21 06:47

A good frogger's like very well executed i love the voxels graphics, and the lot of animation and detail. And that fit perfectly with the theme too, good job !

verry nice, super snappy controlls and very responsive. I LIKE IT......!!

mypalmike 2020-04-21 06:50

Really impressive!

timetravelhamster 2020-04-21 06:50

Very nice game, but is a exact copy and not fit the team at all.

yyz 2020-04-21 06:59

@leniwabula glad you liked it! the diagonal jumps are done by rapidly pressing two arrow keys at the same time. If successful, you will be able to cross diagonally without falling into the water even if they're not adjacent!

@ohfiddlediddle thanks for the suggestions! I was also thinking if the sounds were too repetitive over time, thanks for playing!

@timetravelhamster yes we were inspired by Crossy Roads. I wish we had more time to add some mechanics like a permanent upgrade system and other cool ideas. We were late to the competition and couldn't add as much as I personally wanted :( thanks for playing too!

Funny game. like it! I reached 1830 steps

After playing it I saw that the cheats were activated, it would be good if they appear deactivated

filecorrupteddev 2020-04-21 07:20

Solid execution of a carbon copy of crossy road. It also doesn't fit the theme particularly well. But the execution was great, and the visuals and audio were good.

afkgroup0 2020-04-21 07:28

Nice creation and it works fluently.;)

yamgent 2020-04-21 12:06

The main character is pretty cute. Graphics wise looks quite polished! (better than Crossy Road's original graphics) I like how the scooter runs down the mouse, just like in real life :P. Sometimes the coins will spawn on the water, not sure whether that is intentional.

olafstromberg 2020-04-21 12:30

Very polished game. Liked the graphics and the incidental music. The procedural level generation was a good idea but I feel like having a target to complete would be better. I would map the restart button to a key such as up arrow. Good job.

hueson 2020-04-21 18:58

The amount of work put into this is obvious. The art reminds me of Pokemon Quest.

yyz 2020-04-21 21:36

@yamgent thanks for playing! it's not intentional but unfortunately we didn't have time to fix it. however, there is a trick where if the coin is adjacent to a lilipad, u can hop to collect it and quickly press the arrow key to hop back to safety if u hit the key fast enough to not fall into the water XD (also works to hop diagonally)

@olafstromberg there is a target at 200m, but I think the game should maybe mention that as a goal to be clear! we used 'R' as the restart key since up arrow was used for movement but I get what you mean! thanks for the feedback!

nurkkacthulhu 2020-04-25 20:44

Hopping diagonally was hard, but that was my only issue with the game! Worked really well, good sounds, it was fun to play! Good job

molpe 2020-05-04 22:28

Great game! Love the music, it gives a special atmosphere to the game about dying :D BTW, never figured out that I could jump diagonally (but I think it was in my favour :D ).
