Honk Honk. The art style was great! Good job on the game.

Honk Honk. The art style was great! Good job on the game.
Beautiful visuals! Very interesting that there's no health-bar or damage meter, which makes the game more wholesome. When you get hit by another bird, you can keep going, which is pretty refreshing compared to other games that are less forgiving. Nice touch with the baby birds chirping after being away for a while. Great game!
Overall the game is overall fun, but the controls feel a little bit gummy and slow to respond, which could be intentional as it makes the game relatively difficult, but personally I would prefer them a little more responsive. Other than that though the game plays well and the graphics are very fun to look at.
the controls feel a bit floaty but i like the concept. a bit of sound effect and a music could really enhance the experience
I like the look of it! I think the controls would be more satisfying if it was click and hold, similar to copter or flappy bird.
Well done !
Nice concept and cute visuals. Great work! :)
it was sad to see babies dying. Nice theme implementation.
The flying could be a lot faster, but the idea is very good! I agree with @binroot about the healthbar and chirping. Nice little details ;)
Nice pixel art... animations are good. I found it pretty difficult as the butterflies don't respawn, so you have to go further and furthr away. It seems that you can still feed a dead bird, so if you hit it whilst trying to get to the other one, you've wasted your butterfly. Also, I think the camera should keep the player in the middle - as it stands you can't really see what's coming as you're scrolling forward.
Pretty nice game. I imagine it would've been even better with sound effects and music. I just felt the controls felt a bit unresponsive at some times, too slow to accelerate and deaccelerate.
Great art! The only issue I had was with the threshold for the camera to move to the sides being too far. The flying feels good. Nice game!
Great job on the game the game play and art was very nice.
I played the game with my kids. The graphics are really cute. You really want to keep the little birds alive! I would improve the controls, because the bird feels like it weighs 100kgs. Also it would be nice to have more butterflies around. A really cool idea. If you could find time to review our game, it would be really nice. Thanks!
Cute game, the idea is good. - More feedback on your babies health would have been nice - It might have been easier to hold the Spacebar to fly but that just my point of view
The concept and visuals are great. I really like all the small details (like the chirping) however the controls are to slow and unresponsive for my taste. I think faster movements could improve the fun factor of your game.
A simple but obviously functional concept with Flappy Bird-like controls. My main gripe is the camera lagging behind so I couldn't see what was ahead - I'd be at the screen's edge not knowing what's two feet in front of me.
I wasn't sure whether there was a win condition anywhere, so after a few butterflies I gave up as it felt repetitive and I couldn't tell whether there was something to progress to or I was just delaying the inevitable death of my children.
That art is pretty clear, most everything is easily identifiable. All in all, the game has a clear direct objective, perhaps an unclear grand-scheme motivation, and clear mechanics.
HONK HOBK
Art style is really nice and clean. As other people have said, it would be nice if the movement was faster; it felt like even when I was collecting bugs at maximum efficiency, the babies were still dying (I only saved one).
Music and SFX would go a long way in making for a more complete, polished experience. However, even without them, you do a good job and making the obstacles reactive and giving various animations for taking damage, hungry chicks, and provoking the anger of a goose.
Well done for 48 hours!
Cute baby birbs, and a very fitting concept for the spring! :)
One thing that was a little bit tricky to deal with (especially as I ran out of butterflies near the nest and had to look further away for more) was the way the camera moved. When going left, it showed more of the screen to the right, and vice-versa. This made it pretty hard to navigate, because you didn't get a good idea of what was coming up next.
Great job getting everything made in 48 hours for the compo!
The only real flaw is camera scrolling. Mama Birb should be close to middle of screen all the time. Other than that great idea and cool graphics.
Cute but it takes too long to turn around.
Cool idea with a nice art style. It would be cool to move a bit faster but still quite fun :)
The loading of the game took very long. When i looked in the chrome console, it showed 5 times a 403 erro on some unity webplayer images, so maybe that has somehting to do with it or there are just many assets to load. But after the long loading time the game was great.
I liked overall. Some sound would add much more fun. It's a lil bit to go up. I think you did a great game.
The graphics were amazing and visual effects were great. The controls were very slow and not very responsive. It made the game pretty hard to play. Other than that, great job!
That was fun and I really like the graphics and the cute little birds. I think most of the things I thought could be improved have already been mentioned (scrolling, health indications, sound) but still nice entry.
A very nice idea and beautiful art. I like how it's difficult to navigate, but I would like it more if it was more fast paced. I thought the camera was a bit annoying, as you can't see very much until you get near the sides. One cool detail I didn't see the first time I played was individual hunger on the birdies.
Overall very nice! :)
Nicely done! Such a cute bird haha
Good looking game. Bird moved kinda sluggishly and camera is terrible in places, it shows whats behind and not whats in front. It reminded me a bit of an old game "Putty Pidgeon" but you couldnt poop in this one :(
Beautiful graphics and a cool game idea. A little too much smashing on the spacebar would be nice :) My dream of being mama bird - complete.
The art style is very cute! very intuitive game design. figuring out how to play the game felt very natural. first I fell off the nest, then got honked by the goose, then saw the birds begin to chirp, then saw the butterflies, assumed I could fly with the space bar, flew over to the butterflies, saw the icon appear over the bird, flew over to the nest, saw that my efforts paid off when the bird stopped chirping. Very cool
That was a beautiful game, and a hard one. I ragequit when my first baby died. And those geese, as pretty as they are evil!
Controls are a bit floaty, but overall the game is very well done. Great art and visual feedback!
Art looks so pretty! Gameplay-wise it is a great recreation of Bird Week (NES)
Great visuals, and great match with the theme :) The controls and game overall feel a little bit slow to me, and some audio would be very welcome :) Still, lots of potential here I think, and I enjoyed playing it for a while!
Nice visual, the controls are a bit strange but good job overall :D
Saved one only. Anyone managed to save both? I agree with the others about the controls and camera. However, all fine in 48 hours.
Nice entry! I was rubbish and got honked at a lot :') x
I didn't mind the controls- though if they were tightened up- I prolly wouldn't mind either. I found a couple bugs- when flying to the left- the mama birb thought it had landed in some areas of the sky

Then, the dead baby birb ate the food I was bringing to the live one- or is there a way to resuscitate the dead birb?! Also, it seemed as though it was singing- even though it was dead, or sleeping...

Great job on a pretty solid compo! Thanks for the game!
