Super B saves The City by seano 2020-04-25T16:31:29Z
Sweeet that was fun man. Love the art style. I felt like a pretty shoddy superhero when I "saved" the city by destroying half of it myself and only leaving 2 buildings still standing ;)

Now that's my kind of game! Really enjoyed that, very relaxing flying about and the tasks were easy enough whilst still providing fun. Really cool graphics, and thanks for the flight inversion option ;)
Nice, and really cool music. It would be nice if things ramped up a bit more slowly so you get used to the controls before thousands of hoodlums start storming the garden.
Hey that was quite fun. I found moving the lawnmower quite satisfying, something about the forward/reverse steering and acceleration. Actually the only thing I didn't enjoy was recharging the lawnmower, felt like more of an annoyance when it was quite relaxing mowing the grass. The ramps in level 3 were cool too, I didn't make it past that one. The shadows were a bit dark under the trees, and it would have been good to have some camera movement/zoom.
Nice theme idea, once I got used to the controls this was quite fun. I found clicking to shoot was unresponsive sometimes which made things harder, I'm just using a trackpad though so that might be the reason. In terms of strategy I just ended up staying in the middle, it would be good if the attacks came in waves and more slowly to allow more strategy. The upgrades and points were a nice addition!
Nice, I was considering doing something inspired by the game of life myself. The hints were definitely needed in my case, I found it very hard to visualise past one generation, but it was fun.
That was fun and well executed, nice job. Really well done graphics. I would have liked an indicator showing how many tiles I have left to place. I gave up on the level where it went top-down, that was tricky.
Thanks all for feedback, much appreciated. It's definitely too hard and the follow mechanism could be improved, especially when it overshoots. @jelle-vermandere an indicator was on my todo list, alas not enough time.
For future players, I found the best technique was to first align my speed/direction with ECHO, then guide it from there, this avoids it running off. You can also use UP to create sound, which is explained in Level 3 if anybody manages to get there ;-)
Thanks all. @justalocalhero on the first level, you just have to get ECHO to collect all the small rectangles/sounds (which wrap over the sides, so should always be on screen). But good you enjoyed being adrift anyway ;D
Thanks all for feedback. @somall-dumpling that's amazing you got to level 31, i'm impressed! Yes, the levels are randomly generated after a certain point, sorry about that. With the limited time I had left this was the best way to lengthen the game. I think I set it to generate 100 levels, and I think it would actually crash if you got through them all... but that's likely nigh-impossible as ECHO loses sound more quickly at each level progression. I officially confirm that for all intents and purposes you have completed the game ;)
Nice game, I enjoyed that! Shop was working ok for me, and although I couldn't read a lot of the text it was easy enough to figure out what to do. I found it a bit easy, I didn't really think much just bought new stuff and upped random stats and always seemed to win. Great idea though.
Nice! I might come back to this one to play more. It took me a while to realise I needed to keep collecting the stardust to continue shooting, and the second level was already getting a bit tricky (although I thought I finished it the first time but nothing happened, maybe more evil snakes were coming?). Nice music and simple but clever gameplay.
Hey fellow boxes-in-space game developer. This was quite fun, more so when you get several boxes moving around as a group, something very satisfying about the way they spin around each other. I think it would be better if it wasn't game over when one box gets hit.
Nice idea, I enjoyed playing it. I think the view could be more zoomed out and the space should be endless rather than looping back the spaceship. Perhaps allowing smaller/larger mass of gravity wells based on how long you hold down the mouse for could make the gameplay a bit more varied too?
Played a couple of times and also couldn't find the helicopter. It's a good concept, could just perhaps do with tweaking to be a little easier initially - especially the torch seemed to burn through very fast.
Nice game! Got to the mid teens, was fun puzzle to play with difficulty level judged well. My only feedback is the cracked tiles looked quite similar, so it was hard to see which ones were which.
Really liked the graphics, the eggs were cute and the gameplay has lots of potential, just needed some more levels with more challenging puzzles.
Think this is really neat idea, something quite different. I enjoyed playing through a few of the levels, although I found it got quite hard quite quickly. Because of the speed of the changes, I found myself just dipping the sun under and above the horizon, without any time to think about the different clouds and walls etc. I think if things were slowed down a lot it would actually be more fun and strategic. But still enjoyable to play with nice drawings and music.
Hey not bad for a first game! I found it far too hard, but it kept me interested for a while. I didn't really get what the idea behind everything was and why the guy was floating/flying, so I guess it would be good to develop the theme and graphics more for next time. Cheers.
Nice! That was fun, very satisfying when you get lots of balls going successfully at once. My only feedback is the sound effect when you miss a ball is much too loud compared to the rest of the stuff. But overall good fun!
Honestly I think this is probably the most fun I've had out of all the games I've tried so far. Sometimes simple is best, yet like the last reviewer said there is a subtle complexity to the mechanics with how you can spin the baby by moving left or right when it bounces. I know some of the physics is built into Unity but you've put it all together into a really simple and fun package. Did you add some randomness to the spin/bounce? Definitely continue to work on the game as I think you have something here, with more features and progression, stuff to avoid etc. it could be a really good game.
That was fun, I really like the way the pixels bounce up and down on the main character when he walks, and the puzzles were enjoyable. Unfortunately I also got stuck against the wall. It would have been nice if the restart was on the same screen, especially for LD you don't really want to go through everything again. Nice entry.
That is one creepy sounding plant. Although it's quite simple, it was fun to play for a little while.
Interesting idea! It would be good if the story about the squirrel etc. was built more into the game as this is one of its biggest plus points. As others have mentioned the mechanics seemed a little off but I managed to complete it. I think there is a bug - when I died for the second/third time I couldn't restart the level as I wouldn't fall down.
Link goes to 404, is the game published?
Working now. Like the graphics, neat idea. Found the red enemy things were a bit fast and hard to hit, maybe I just suck at games. The white orb links were a good idea. I didn't quite understand the menu when you die -25, 1x, 2x, 3x etc but I admit I didn't read all the instructions (although some were off the screen).
That was cool. Simple but nice music and weird story, I got the sad ending which I liked.
That was fun and I really like the graphics and the cute little birds. I think most of the things I thought could be improved have already been mentioned (scrolling, health indications, sound) but still nice entry.
I got a new world record! Simple but fairly fun to play. I quite like the lighting and cube graphics at that angle. It would be good if you could see the fire line when you shoot further.
