Cool! I like the art & music. I fell off the world at the end! Am I doing something wrong? :)

No you did't do something wrong! That's how the game ends! Thanks about the rate and for playing the game!I hope yu really like it!Share it with your friends!
It's a cute platformer, but there are collision problems i fall into the void when i try to move, maybe you can fix that (and i think you can the correction of bug is autorised in the voting period).
Hey hey i fixed the bug that you enter the void and now you restart the game!!!
How did you fix it
Did you use the code i gave you?
YES I FIX THAT WITH YOUR CODE!THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!
for me this game was a nice cool relaxing experience. Although i did get stuck in a cave with 4 chests (i couldn't get out so i restarted the game) But overall it was a nice game.
Is it possible to get a web build?
Just letting you know I think when you use 3rd party graphics you should turn off the rating for graphics. Otherwise it's fun but a little clunky when it comes to tile collisions and getting stuck on things, I think if the collisions were more precise it would make the feel a lot better.
Thanks everyone for the feedback and for the advice!Have fun!
I love your game. But it could be better if you did not use Asset store assets :)
Thanks everyone for rating my game!
Good job! its a nice start! keep going!
Hi there ! I've got some advice for you : - As others said, you should turn off the rating for graphics if using external assets. At least you should credit them ! - When creating a level, you should do a quick blockout first, to have all your collisions figured out, so you never fall out of the map. - Just in case, put a big trigger box under the map to reload the scene if someone manages to fall ! - You want to use snapping for the environement (Holding Ctrl in Unity, or downloading ProGrid from the Package manager), it will be way easier to build your levels that way ! - There are options for tilemapping in 2D for fast and good looking level building.
Anyway, good luck and have fun !
@beardmage thanks for your feedback! If you download my game now you can see that if you manage to fall, you return to the menu scene! But for the tilemap system i tried to use that to design the level but the objects were too small so i couldnt design it!Can yu give any advice on how to use tilemap system? However thanks for the advice!
Hi!
Your game is a bit short and has collision problems, but i liked music and that cartoonish style.
It's a nice little platformer, i really enjoy the sound and music! Well done!
Nice entry, i hope you will just build more and more games!
Cute looking game but feel like i've seen these assets before, credits to the maker of the art would be good. Also you might want to look into improving your colliders, unity has quite a good system for that AFAIK.
Thanks everyone for rating and for the feedback!Have a nice week!
Cool Game Somme issues with colliders and with the coin collect too...
Loved the music! Awesome game, although I think I have seen the main character somewhere before can't remember exactly where now.
I used Unity sTORE ASSETS.Thats the reason you have seen that character somewhere before! Thanks for the feedback!
Is anyone looking for a team???????????If you do just let me in the comments!!!!!
Cool little game! :D The character is cute, a web build of this game would be great please!
Ok, I found a lot of bugs in this game, but if you'll finish it in the future, it can turn out to be a very nice cute platformer. I like the choice of style and the sounds, too. I just fall under the floor too often and jumping is weird sometimes. Keep learning!
I was going to write that you had some really great sprites, but then I found out that they were taken from the Unity Store. I was also going to say that music was nice, but now I doubt that it is indeed yours...
Cool little game, but the collisions needs some more works. I fell under the floor twice.
Nice choice for music and graphics
There are some bugs that I fall out of the map. Nice work and keep making games!
Needs more work, especially with the collisions and the level design, but keep it going and congrats on making a game!!
The graphics and art its good, the music too, u can fix some collisions, good Job!
its Cool :v:
Graphics are well-chosen and I liked the audio. It created a cute experience!
The game itself is very short (or at least I couldn't find anyplace to go after picking up the seed and the carrot - I could just jump into nothingness ;)). It's not bad that it's short, it's a jam game after all. But you really should let the player know that it's the end. Some end screen with "you gathered this and this many seeds/gold and now you can buy a yacht and sail away" would be nice.
The gameplay could really use a lot of polish. It is sadly very buggy. You can easily walk through walls and fall though the map. Like here:

You can also fall through the floor and get stuck on walls. Sometimes it even runs with your character being unable to pick up anything up: Screenshot_10.png
It seems to me like you didn't relate to the theme of this Ludum Dare at all. What am I keeping alive?
But, with all that out of the way, it is still a valiant jam effort :smile" And congratulations on finishing!
Cool game! Really peaceful experience due to the nice graphics and audio. I quite liked it! It definitely needs some polishing though. The collisions felt weird and some more levels would be cool. But, of course, this is a jam, so great job. I really liked the animation of the character too! Great effort, well done!
First a few notes on the technical sides. You are missing a few colliders at the beginning of the level near that tunnel of bricks, which cause you to fall through the level and have to restart. If you restart the level by falling in the void at the end of the level the colliders for things you have picked up seem to be missing, so you are unable to pickup coins or seeds. The jumping feels a bit sluggish at times. I think the connection to the theme could have been stronger, the house where you start seems to be pretty alive, moreso than the area you are finding seeds from. However just completing a game like this for a jam is a good start. Maybe for your next jam try to set some more time aside for polishing!
Thanks everyone for the feedback! And dont forget i am a 13 years old boy!
Welcome to Ludum Dare. Okay, the game has some issues, but it was still fun to play. For a first jam this is pretty good. Well done.
A few breaking bugs aside, you did a great job! Quite a formal platformer experience if I might say. A few things you may learn from this: - Using widespread assets is a big disadvantage, you should change them in a more unique way, if not drastically distinct from the original. - Animating in 2D game is utmost important, I think you may need to animate the character more flexibly and dynamically for more enjoyment. - Most bugs concern collisions, consider placing colliders more accurately or attempt to throw exceptions.
Hi, overall the controls were really good, the game felt good to play - though it really needs more fine-tuning. I fell out of the world just as I started, because I tried to find a secret inside one of the walls and instead just fell down into nothingness :D
Sure this game requires some polish. Jumping is really wacky, and combined with weird colliders makes it feels weird. In addition, I have no idea where I can go, or where I can't go. The goal is unclear here. I won if I got dropped to the menu? Sometimes I can get inside a platform, walk there and than fall. That sort of things should be redone to make this game working. Better luck next time!
