I like the concept. it was a bit laggy for me, and I didn't understand the purpose of pressing space. It should just glow automatically. Would like to see a version for mobile devices.

Scythe was cool. The spawning was overwhelming, and I wasn't sure were I was supposed to go. Maybe having an arrow system to progress will help.
I like the idea of taking care of the bird. Would be cool if bird followed around. nice game
Great Job! I was thinking of a similar style RPG for my game, but I think your game fit the theme better. I spent too much time trying to make my maps and spawns random, so it took a bulk more time.

This was a great experience. I think some ambient music and a darker tone would have made it feel more urgent. But besides that, this game is awesome and can’t wait for the sequel!
Game freezes on my browser. I’m playing on chrome in IPad. But for the 10 sec. it runs...music is catchy, voice over sounds fun and it’s pretty fun
I got stuck under the bed in the house with the staircase. This was an awesome experience and I killed like 3 hours playing it. Loved it!

@bentebent Thanks for the review. Yeah I think I want to add an animation and some recoil for when you smack them. Will add that, @miklo the blue enemy is OP and is best to run away from, kind of like a nemesis (maybe adding a long range attack option?) @llewellyn-and-Michael I didn’t have time to get the chest working, but wanted to add an item system with power ups.
@eldogg yeah I think I’m going to add smaller particle effects to version 1.2. Yeah I went with minimalist because of timing, but even then there were so many more things I wanted to add lol

@kingmatthew Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe a warning system when an attack is coming. That might give some buffer to attacks. @arthur-mairs this is the equivalent to like a nemisis in the dungeon. @ponypen Yeah, it's was hard for me to get responsive collisions but the next version is going to improve on this. @drazihnya good point, thanks for the suggestion.
@lenny-rudeberg Thanks lenny. I'm going to be updating that, I might have a spawned vaccuum instead of a hitbox. Also add some momentum to the impact on enemies. Thanks. @morcado, I was worried if I went to big, I wouldn't have time to add the rpg features and the random map generator, but I'm gonna scale up now, thanks for the suggestion. @lemons, thanks man, appreciate the drop in.

Puzzles were really good. The bumping noise hurt my head after like 5 minutes. Other then that, game works solid and graphics are pretty cool. great job.

I had to download, my html5 wasn't loading. Aside from that, very good aesthetic. I thought the audio was nice, with the lightning effect helping to pace the game. Everything works great. Adding boss music to prompt him being nearby is one suggestion I could come up with.
Best part, we took all of Elon Musk Bitcoin. Everything was great. Cool Ghost possession mechanic. Made it more fun and extended play. Wasn't sure when I was hitting the bosses until they were dead. Keep up the great work!
Hey man. Game was hard. Maybe destroying the hitbox once enemies were shot down. Power-ups would definitely be a plus. Shields too. Anything that could make me feel like a bad ass.
This is great. I love the art style. Great Lighting effect. Wonder if the levels are playable in reverse. I was actually expecting that when you gave the option to back, that you could repeat the levels backwards.
This game has great graphics, funny story, and the theme was right on. The only thing that took me out of the vibe was the elevator rhythm mini games. Besides that, this game is solid for something done so quickly great job.

Addictive Gameplay. Just needs some music. The spider is OP but in a good way!
I like the characters and the writing. VR Studio let's you make characters. I use that and gimp to make the art for some of my games. aesprite too has a free version.

I tried playing the game, but it won't load properly for me, should I use a specific browser? Music is haunting and think it adds to the atmosphere nicely.
Awesome game, only got through it because of reading @honey-pony comment. I think having an indicator helps. Aside from the prompt in the beginning, There's not much story, but it was definitely very eerie.
Reaaally Addictive Gameplay! Great Music, and balanced leveling up system. Adding an ability to control the shots by moving the cursor over where shots should be may help with earlier gun targeting issues.

Great enemy design, and level design looks fantastic. I find it hard to design characters in voxel that really stand out, so I think the dwarf has to much on him.
Gameplay was smooth, controls were simple. I really enjoyed playing the game and the audio was great too. Wish there was another level to this for replayability (Equips, leveling up, expandable levels)
This game has solid gameplay and mechanics. You should put together some nice ambiance music to put my drill together. Definitely see a polished version on Steam or something.
I felt the game was simple: Everything works. I felt it was too short. Adding more time to explore, maybe to 30 seconds. I would also recommend not needing to click, but simply dragging the mouse. If you want to make it more challenging, giving dirt random health so that there is some strategy.
@lakshyaisagod arrow keys are to move. And I will make it so if play is on, you can click any where (or a click here button) @iorena did you try the defensive mode, if you right click, you can dash. @last-angle I might have to set up a tutorial mode.

@chensu Thank you, what bug did you find? @minibobbo I have to add a prompt. I'm thinking of adding an animation to set up when enemies are catchable. Sorry about that tree bug, lol, I'll fix that.
@Goldone I will be trying to make it look better, I was on a school chromebook, so I was very limited, but that allowed me to focus more on the coding. @nodice Definitely felt the music didn't fit lol, it was like a last minute add. @cresceda thank you, i was so unsatisfied I added the option to turn off the music. @eugenik I was going to try to make it fit, but maybe I should embrace the style more?
@dotsquare Thanks, I spent a lot of time on the controls, and I'm trying to polish the graphics and make it more consistent. @filgru yeah, I want to fix the bugs and balance out the element absorb power ups, but I don't know what to focus on really now besides the graphics. @jk5000 thanks, that's hard to do with so many surreal entry this year.
@F1Krazy Great Insight, Thank you. Since it takes the longest time, I never got around to doing it, but will add that to the game. I've been avoiding it, because I have to develop separate code for a tutorial. I will try to address what you found confusing in your playthrough and hope you come and play it again.
@alprog thanks, yeah, I think I might try to release this game on steam. Make a new build after this, improve the art style, and create a better tutorial set up. Sorry to hear about that restarting to be able to read text. @sonmi I hope you were able to capture pepega. @etrealjunior yeah, I'm going to check out your game right now. I had the damage prompt set as a function, and it just wasn't generating the proper text, it will only do it , while the vacuum sprite is overlapping the enemy. Will fix.

One of the top games of this jam:
1.) I loved that I had to download an emulator: The nostalgia factor of having to find an emulator to play the game, brought me back to high school days when I would have to download games to play throwback systems
2.) Art style is really expressive and well done for the system. Sprites are really well done.
3.) Music and ambience fits perfectly with the style.
Deltas 1.) The bubble mechanic seems to work well in some levels and buggy in others, but doesn't take away from game play. I never know if it's going to pop, and it sometimes pops early. Maybe a empty bubble (no green fill) to indicate it's about to pop.
Even with that one thing, It was a great experience.

Cool game, simple mechanics, clean control. Great game for someone who plays a lot of platformers. wish there was more depth too it though, or larger puzzle like levels using the bounce off mechanic. There was another game I played where you can spawn bubbles too and control the bubbles. Just Ideas on how to expand a decent idea.
Ended too quickly, which there were more clams. I think it reminds me of the Ecco the Dolphin game.
I will be checking this one out soon too!
I think this game is really well done! Acting is good and sets the tone. Only issue I have is with the pacing. I understand the choice of the reinforcing negative feed back loops that put you deeper in depression, perhaps having a sunken place level that leads back to the happy phase and real ending?
With the time constraint, very few bugs. Only bug I found was that the character can move before the monster spawns in the second level.
Still, great job!

Perfect score. Wish there was an easy mode where I just let the tree go straight down (maybe a drill mechanic with health) or maybe a mode with just the acid obstacle.

This was great. No real issues. Only thing I can think of is to have a prompt on how much of the fall I have left, also, if you can keep a score of how many bones were broken.

It was hard to follow what to do. The game could be better, maybe if you draw the pictures, make sure its better quality and resolutions.
Cool game, has similar elements to my game. I got stuck on one of the stages. I like the character and the vibe, I'm thinking of remaking my game, wondering if the top down camera works for the gameplay or if I should switch to metroidvania style. Some benefits (trade options in directional movement and perspective for faster paced game play and less prompting) might make the pacing better for my game. Not sure if that applies here.
Very cool game, great attempt at the theme. I think I would have liked more places to reheat, and maybe prompts on what's near me, maybe there could be some UI that tells me where key items are near. I think the game was phenomenal for what you were able to pull off in a few days.

The game was funny, and I got it almost immediately. Spot on with humor and the theme. great job!
An amazing submission. Music is solid, I wish I didn't die so quickly so I could enjoy the music. The feel is spot on, and pacing is really good. Level 3 is where I kept dying, but the game is great. only suggestion would be prompts on where a landing is coming up. Something for the difficulty curve.

I think you need to work out the purpose of the game. An infinite falling game is okay, but you don't have a real reason to fall. You could add like a Character that prompts the user the background or story.
Cool game! Didn't understand the point, but I thought it was like minesweepers. I used to play that game for hours. I think having more ways to score, and more paths besides the single path. Maybe a tutorial would help make the learning curve a little lower.

Sorry it took me so long to get around to it. Great game! Like the color scheme, the mood, and responsive controls. Only recommendation is to change the control scheme to a left and right movement vs. wasd movement. Can't wait for future updates.
